That was brilliant , Omar, and it brought back memories of those early sessions I had with my early photography . I wish I had al that knowledge when I was starting out as it would have helped enormously . Thanks , Omar .
Thanks for watching!

Glad you enjoyed it!
Great Video!
SO refreshing. Thank you for sharing. Greetings from Belgium.
Thanks!!!
Great advice.....
Thanks. A couple of your suggestions were similar to Richard Avedon’s (I think) technique of waiting past the expected button push time. It causes the pose to move into something more natural. Not always for the best but worth trying.
Grande Omar!
Excellent tips on posing non-models, that includes 99% of people. Thank you!

Fantastic advice for an amateur like me! As a primary landscape and nature photographer, I always struggle with photographing people. And I'm sure my level of discomfort and uncertainty makes others less relaxed. I look forward to incorporating these tips, especially during the holiday season. Thank you Omar...
That's why we got Omar on with us, glad you found this helpful!
Best of luck! Yes, people will feed off your energy, so relax and have fun!! If all fails....keep them moving! Cheers.

Glad this was helpful for you, thanks for watching!
Glad it was helpful!
What up Omar!! great vid.
YO. Thank you!
Curious about the ISO on a number of these, shutter speed seemed high for someone not moving much, so wondered about the logic of having say ISO640. Great photos as always, so maybe it doesn’t matter is the answer 😊
The Z6II is a wonderful camera!
REALLY great camera. Did tons of portrait sessions with it.
Thank you 😊
Thanks for watching!
You are welcome!
I have found it useful at times, especially with a group, to yell out "hey, asshole!" and usually everyone will turn and look and then laugh or smile.
I'm doing my first non family members shoot this weekend. I'll use these tips. Thanks.
Glad we had this video out in time for you!
What fantastic tips - I've never done 'people' photography before, (wildlife is my 'thing'), but you've made me want to have a go at this. Not sure my 300mm lens would be quite the thing for it though! 🤔
Go out and try it! Now you got these awesome tips.
Go follow Omar, he’s the best en funniest!
☝️ agreed!
Hi Omar, I was wondering why sometimes you raise shutter speed that much (1/2500) while it cause ISO to rise ? Is it to give a special look or is it to capture some particular moment when the subject moves ?
I shoot full manual, so my ISO is set by me. I shoot wide open and make my subjects move a LOT during a shoot, so I like to be safe. With all the cameras I use, ISO 6400 and below have little noise. Hope that helps!
@@ogonzilla yeah it really help thanks for answering so fast. In my experience 1/250 was fast enough for me but never encountered big movement such as people jumping, etc. Now, I'm gonna be a bit more careful with more shutterspeed when I encountered those.
