Those words open so much for the game. Gotten back into the game and i can’t believe the 180 they’re doing for the fans. Season 1 returning for everyone. Now we can all relive the FULL story to this.
@@86Corvus I play ffxiv daily. started after that mess of a patch. 625 hours in in three months. did all story and dlcs within 200 hours. I love it here. i don't regret switching. and i will never play gw2 again. wouldn't touch it with a ten foot long pole. I don't know what you mean by your statement. ffxiv is clearly a superior MMO. we all know that ArenaNet had to pull a lot of resources away from living story and put it in the next dlc which is tragic because the characters and also the players deserved better but it IS free content and one could argue, not worth their time. I hope the next dlc is worth your money. clearly ffxiv is in a bit of a slump right now because it is in between dlcs and content is sparse.... quite like gw2. but at least i sleep easy at night because i know the next dlc will be life altering. wish I could say the same about all gw2 dlcs. that is to say, gw2 is not a bad game, enjoyed my seven years playing it daily. but that patch was a fucking disaster and you and i both know this.
Compare this to the end of Heart of Thorns where there is litteraly nothing after killing Mordremoth except the usual quest reward... What a journey! Still, GW2 has a lot of progress to make in terms of storytelling and staging.

ofc, important female npc's never truly die. WoW is an good example of that. Meanwhile all male npc's die and wont get any chance to return.
