Just bought this game on Steam's Spring Sale and loving it! This series is just what I was looking for - a way to learn what to do but WHY I would do it so that I can make rational choices with each game played. Thank you!!
Thanks for doing this. I have been debating getting this for so long😊. The way you go through the mechanics is excellent. Really hope you keep this series going ! Subscribed. Best wishes from the UK. Ian
You bet. Thanks for watching. I did a 90 minute part 2 video last night. I got a little loopy at the end. Turns out I was running a fever! Sick as a dog today 😅. But That video will be out in the next day or two.
I just found this. Coming from stellaris (if you haven’t played check it out) and I’m sooo lost! It’s more complex in places and less in others. This is the series I needed. Thank you.
100% agreed whit u when u said that most people will play for a small few hours and move on. I done that too I got this last year in August of 23 and its just this year that im rely playing a lot this summer it took about 5 or 6 failed games and bunch of YT let's plays but it clicked whit me and I have to say it's is a fantastic game.. looking forward to your play tru..
Would have loved this a few days ago when I started the game x) But its reinforced and helped to understand a lot, the starting traits made a big difference.
This sounds interesting, I would be also interested though how your current playthrough of MoOII turns out/ends. So I hope it just doesn't replace it. Would be quite the difference since I know pretty much nothing of this game here, so lets find out about it together :D
I agree the interface and low graphics requirements would port very well. I think they would need to restrict the galaxy size to reduce the load on the processor with all of the game objects.
When you start with 100 control you can get 3 colony ships at a cost of 33 control with a cooldown of 12 turns (and -2% approval per that EO) using an Executive Order. So control can be important for planet rushing.
If you take the minus 20 to control you gain 2 trait points. Spend one to get a plus 1 to control each turn. That leaves you with an extra trait point to spend. It will take 24 turns to executive order the third colony ship. You will plus 24 control by that point.
just found your video after discovering GC4 and its extremely helpful. Love it. Great Job! Your the reason why I'm loving this game. On to Ep 2.....
Thank you! It’s fun to form a community and dig into this game.

You are welcome. I will admit Ep 2 is a bit loopy on my part. 😅 But I'm going to try and focus up going forward. A bit more polish.

Glad you’re on board. I have played for a solid 6 months now.

Glad it helped. I’m just starting to dig into the DLC myself. Always more to learn.

Sunday mornings are Moo2 mornings! Going to push through with the 40K Terrans. We will take Orion, capture all Xenos colonies and smash the Antarans.
Dude there is so much confusing and it’s so overwhelming when starting out! Helping me tons cause I wanna enjoy the game
Glad to help. Ep 2 is a little bit rough because I was getting sick! 😝 I didn’t know it at the time.
15:35 Oxygen and Nitrogen together makes a variety of gasses, including nitrogendixode, which is laughing gas.
Ah no - laughing gas is N2O - or dinitrogenmonoxide.
And ammonia is NH3
This kind of game seems well suited to adaptation for mobile and tablets

15:29 Ammonia is made out of 1 nitrogen atom surounded by 3 hydrogen atoms each bonded by a sigma bond to said nitrogen atom.
That’s what I’m talking about! Chemist in the comments
@@redoover I couldn;t resist :D
1, ammonia NH3. three H's all connected to a single N. 2. If you are not running out of control you aren't using them optimally. Imo.
Taking a penalty for every diplomatic option? I don't see how that could turn out badly 😛
The human character looks like Jimmy Kimmel.
Did they model the human faction leader after you?
Bold choice to make yourself certainly fertile.
😅
Interesting idea but I think they just released 2.40!
Ah. I just tried this last night. Did they patch today?
Is there any worth while features in glaciv4 vs galciv3?
I never played GalCiv3.
