If you research 3K KIT reviews, there are an awful lot of complaints saying because the legs are made with plastic there are failures in less than 12 months. The 3K PRO legs are metal and assumed to be wear friendly and so far I have not found any failure complaints.
Still makes very little sense to me. A tripod with a 3kg capacity could hold just about any camera, and certainly every mirrorless camera I'm aware of. I have the 3K Pro, which is great, but 3kg weight limit on the standard 3K is so misleading.
