The reason stores play music is because it, in general, increases sales. I was in retail for many years, had my own shop and now volunteer at a thrift store. Good music makes people shop longer. Although if it were loud techno I personally would not enjoy it. Our local Walmart plays really good 70's stuff and not only do I stay longer, shop more, but it puts me in a good mood. ❤🎵

Yes I agree totally about the music in stores. I complained once to a staff member who said that they had no control over it that it was played in all the stores. 🙄 It makes me want to exit quickly if a store is playing music that is overly intrusive.
The Shiseido ultimate sun protector lotion is an oldy but goody for me; been using it for over 10 years. It’s a solid formula, great for sensitive skin, and is highly water resistant. If I’m going to the beach, it’s a great one to bring. It also wears really well under makeup. Tip for travel: decant your fave skincare into contact lens cases! They’re perfect to store 5 days worth of product. I will put my cleansing balm into one well of a case, and then my regular cleanser in the other. Plenty of product and super compact.
The PTR Water drench spf45 is surprisingly freaking awesome, no cast at all and I’m very tan, easy to apply, feels good on the skin, not too greasy and mixes great with my other products
I have mixed feelings about the Ulta square inside of Target stores. I was excited when it was first announced however, in order to make room for it, Target discontinued carrying a lot of other products in both skincare and cosmetics, also haircare products. I don't use First Aid beauty products but I do notice a lot them showing up at TJ Maxx. Have a safe 4th Dr. Dray. :)
They probably still carry those products online if you have an interest in doing that. My Target's Ulta doesn't carry The Ordinary products for instance, but they do have them online. Always free shipping with Target card (credit or debit), but some products require a $35 minimum total purchase. The card also gives you 5% off and extends the return period from 90 days to 120 days.
They also raised prices on brands like Neutrogena and CeraVe to match Ulta's for a while. Some prices have come down since then, but not as low as they used to be.
I've been using Weleeda skin food and Vanicream peptide moisturizer, Neutrogena serum spf, morning. My skin looks very hydrated. I am 50, my daughter says I look like 30. Until I look myself in 3x mirror, ouch😳 But I have become very simplistic. No mess, no fuss.

I use the Shiseido oil free sunscreen and you have described it well, Dr. Dray. No white cast, dries down quickly, very light weight and great protection. There is a very slight tint (not a makeup tint) just a bit of a yellow tint. It is one of my favourite sunscreens.
Good morning Dr. Dray! I don’t know if you’ve heard about this or not? but Neutrogena is coming out with a hydroboost soothing milky cleanser. I put mine on preorder! It officially releases august 1st!

@@hansmdinkermaniiv1665 really? The blue bottle is called ultimate sun protector sunscreen lotion. It is spf 50 and broad spectrum (uva and uvb). Are you referring to another sishedo product?
I recently tried Sunday Riley ceo glow vit c face oil and the serum. My face got itchy and had bumps and igot irritated. No wonder, its because of the Linalool (fragrance). So i stopped it and just used your recommended cicaplast Balm B5 top it off with Vanicream Mineral sunscreen. I can see difference now. Bumps gown down, no more irritation and itching. Will wait for maybe 2-3 weeks until i can try K products. Thanks dr. Dray for educating us. ❤
I love the Shiseido SPF, the textures are great; the only drawback is all of their SPFs leave a decided white cast that does not diminish and it breaks through foundation or another tinted SPF. Regarding the Target having Ulta, our Targets in N. CA have a big theft problem, the more pricey skincare (e.g., Naturium) is under glass, you need a sales associate to get the product and they bring it to the register, you can't carry it with you in-store. Speaking of Naturium, have you tried any of their products? I love their 5% Tranexamic acid and PHA Topical acid 12% are pretty good.
The Shisheido in the blue bottle is legit though. It smells so strongly of alcohol and the fragrance is very strong too, but it is super comfortable on the body and has never let me down, even when it's super hot and I'm super sweaty. It's a very liquidy consistency and is definitely pretty shiny.
Agree! I've been using it for almost 10 years now. Could not change to another sunscreen cause this one is my best so far. Very comfortable on the skin and never breaks me out.
I use this for my face and it doesn’t sting my eyes. My favorite SPF 🧴. I get it in a huge 300 ml bottle in Europe. Smells of citrus fruit. Very liquid consistency. Perfect under makeup and perfect for my dry skin in general.

I put my cleansing oil in an old ordinary glass bottle with the dropper. Works perfectly in my liquids bag and doesn’t leak! Also easy to dispense onto my hand
I have the Peter Thomas Roth Max Matte Shine Control Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF45. It's only okay. Leaves skin looking very oily. I prefer Murad's Oil Control SPF 45, as it does a better job at keeping the oil at bay. Neither sting and neither leave a white cast.
@@jn6746 I am sorry that it does not work for you! I don’t mind the fragrance and I am especially pleased with it because I can use it around my eyes. Good morning, Dr. Dray! The Inkey List has a travel version of the Oat Cleansing Balm (50ml) at Sephora. I’m in Canada but I assume the U.S. would have it too. I hope everyone has a great Monday! 💗
For travel I use Olay Daily facial sensitive cloths in place of an oil first cleanse. They are dry wipes that you moisten with water so you can pack the amount you will use, not the whole package.
I'm telling you ,Dr dray,...ever since I started watching your channel,EVERY Walmart and target has the products you like on a separate display " front and center" before you even walk into the beauty area.😏 like they listen and know WE ARE ALL COMING 😆🤣
Dr. Dray, I just love going to Target with you in the cyber world. Thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge. You help me sort through the sea of available skin care. It is a great help!
Yes a 1.7 ounce jar of cream can go on the plane and travel in a quart sized bag without checking in. I haven’t traveled since the pandemic started but here are the rules: You are allowed to bring a quart-sized bag of liquids, aerosols, gels, creams and pastes in your carry-on bag and through the checkpoint. These are limited to travel-sized containers that are 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) or less per item. When I used to travel a lot I would cheat a little bit and I would take two or 3 quart size bags and put whatever I needed it in my travel bag because I usually don’t check in luggage. And then I put a quart size bag into each Bin like a bag with your laptop, a bag with your shoes, a bag with your luggage etc. if I had a lot to take with me. 😎
I spray my spatulas with hypochcalorus acid after every use.... Sometimes I just use ninety one percent alcohol to kill bacteria and then wipe dry. Store in a ziplock.
Dr. Dray, have you seen Target’s All In Motion clothing line? It’s athletic clothes, and a bunch are UPF 50. I picked up some pieces the other day. They seem to be good quality and very cute.
I use containers from muji for double cleansing oil and liquid soap when I travel. They are great, never leak and come in a variety of shapes. Happy July 4th Dr. Dray!
I have the large tub of the pixie milky mask and it is perfect for summer! It’s so cooling and calming. I use it 2-3 times a week, so it’s definitely worth it for me!
DHC sells a travel size cleansing oil and I've been refilling the same travel component for a year with no issue. Love it! Also I would love to see you venture into the world of makeup more, we can always use more discerning members in the community! Thanks so much for your content ❤️
Hi Dr. D, DHC makes a 1oz. refillable bottle of their cleansing oil, I take that with my 2nd cleanser decanted in a small container. I decant everything so I can bring lots of “ just in case” products in a very small space; works well for this ‘ over-packer’!
Dr Dray, could you please review some of the natural hair coloring products (or the hair colors which may not be natural but are more or less harmful)? Thank you so much!
@@wendytaylor779 oh that’s no fair Wendy! 😢 I had noticed a lot of target stores had shut around Brisbane too! I feel like we miss out on a lot of skincare gems over here
For travelling I have the 10g tub of Elemis cleansing balm (then refilled from the unscented full size one I have at home) and a travel size face wash from Paula’s choice. Never let me down!
I love the oil control sunscreen. Thanks to you I tried it and love it. It does burn the eyes but it doesn't make my face greasy or interfere with my makeup
I work at a Target in Indianapolis and we are in the middle of a full store remodel. Our store is adding an Ulta. Our Ulta sets the week of September 11.
the Peter Thomas Roth spf is expensiveeee but I feel its really good for people that hate sunscreen because its so light weight and literally feels like water when you apply it it just sinks in and feels like nothing. I always struggled with finding spf I like the texture of and this was one of the first ones I ever liked and would actually wear everyday with no complaints.
I live on the Northside of Chicago. There are 5 Targets within a 5 mile radius of my home and 2/5 have a large Ulta within them. It's more difficult for me to get to a standalone Ulta or Sephora so online shopping and Target's Ulta come in handy.
Ulta at target is going to be the death of me. I have to very careful when I step in now. What I’ve been eyeing recently is the bioderma cleansing cleansing oil because 1. I double cleanse when I wear a full face of makeup and 2. You get a whole liter of product for $30! Dr. Dray, I would to hear hear your thoughts on it if you haven’t already.

I recently discovered the Target Up & Up dupe for the Vaseline Advanced Repair lotion. It's so good! And the best part, its only $2 for 20oz. ❤🎯
I need to try this!
What 😳 that's my favorite lotion!!! does it actually feel the same as the Vaseline brand??
@@jessie9653 I just did some research and it actually has a better review rating than Vaseline's by almost 1 whole star. Some people in the vaseline one's review even said to use the up&up one and that it's better.
@@ambitiousunicorn57 I will be checking it out 😁
Curel (Japanese brand) makes a really good travel set with double cleanse, toner and moisturiser, all fragrance free.
Good morning, Dr. Dray! The Inkey List has a travel version of the Oat Cleansing Balm (50ml) at Sephora. I’m in Canada but I assume the U.S. would have it too. I hope everyone has a great Monday! 💗
Yes we have it and I love it
DHC is a wonderful oil cleanser and I take it all the time traveling. They come in small travel sizes too :)
For travel I use Olay Daily facial sensitive cloths in place of an oil first cleanse. They are dry wipes that you moisten with water so you can pack the amount you will use, not the whole package.

Dr Dray: OOOH LOOK IT‘S LIKE THEY KNEW I WAS GONNA COME HERE
lolololololololol
Loved the FAB oat toner. It wasn't a "necessary" product, but it woke me up and gave me a sense of well being.
I love the Shiseido Urban Environment. Additionally, it plays well with foundation.
It's my all time favourite sunscreen. It is very expensive though. I am wondering how the blue bottle compares to the regular Urban Environment one?
I'm telling you ,Dr dray,...ever since I started watching your channel,EVERY Walmart and target has the products you like on a separate display " front and center" before you even walk into the beauty area.😏 like they listen and know WE ARE ALL COMING 😆🤣
🤣😅🤣🤣
Yes, I agree that my local Walmart has stepped up their game lately regarding skincare. I'm finding that true for the drugstores too.
I haven’t traveled since the pandemic started but here are the rules:
You are allowed to bring a quart-sized bag of liquids, aerosols, gels, creams and pastes in your carry-on bag and through the checkpoint.
Ooh - good to know! Thanks for this comment. As if I need to spend more $$ at Target lol 🙄
I use containers from muji for double cleansing oil and liquid soap when I travel. They are great, never leak and come in a variety of shapes. Happy July 4th Dr. Dray!
Thanks. $6/20 5ml/1 tsp. 🥰
I have the large tub of the pixie milky mask and it is perfect for summer! It’s so cooling and calming. I use it 2-3 times a week, so it’s definitely worth it for me!
Target + Ulta = Awesome shopping experience!
I need to go there
DHC sells a travel size cleansing oil and I've been refilling the same travel component for a year with no issue. Love it!
Also I would love to see you venture into the world of makeup more, we can always use more discerning members in the community! Thanks so much for your content ❤️
All the Targets around my city have the new Ulta section. I like it but I have to wonder what items they removed from the store to make room for this.
I use the Peter Thomas Roth SPF and love the lightweight feel. It sits well under makeup.
Hi Dr. D, DHC makes a 1oz. refillable bottle of their cleansing oil, I take that with my 2nd cleanser decanted in a small container. I decant everything so I can bring lots of “ just in case” products in a very small space; works well for this ‘ over-packer’!
No double cleanse compares to the Clinique take the day off balm. For travel have a small one that I just refill. 🤷🏼♀️
The OG of cleansing balms indeed!
The Ulta section at my target is no where near as big as the one you are in. That is massive!!!!
For a travel double cleanse. Get a balm as your 1st step.
Loving tan is TRULT that amazing. By far the best self tanner. Best color, longest lasting, and easy to use!
Dr Dray is an encyclopedia of skin care product
Can you review the myCHELLE sun shield liquid spf 50 sunscreen?
I love the ultimate lotion sunscreen. It feels great on skin. No cast at all. Dries in place
Dr Dray that hyacinth blue color shirt looks great on you.
Love your shopping trips.
Dr Dray, could you please review some of the natural hair coloring products (or the hair colors which may not be natural but are more or less harmful)?
Thank you so much!
I really wish our target stores in Australia were like this! I’d go crazy walking through that shop! Ahhh 😍
If you can even get to them, they shut down all our target stores in Townsville, nearest one is now Cairns 😭
@@wendytaylor779 oh that’s no fair Wendy! 😢 I had noticed a lot of target stores had shut around Brisbane too! I feel like we miss out on a lot of skincare gems over here
@@ness1599 I know, I wish that UA-camrs would slow down when they’re wandering the aisles so I can get a good look at everything I’m missing out on 🤣
Enjoyed our trip to Target, very impressed with Ultra, going to check out my Target!
For travelling I have the 10g tub of Elemis cleansing balm (then refilled from the unscented full size one I have at home) and a travel size face wash from Paula’s choice. Never let me down!
Love Shiseido sunscreens!! Great video as always!
What can be done to fix fat loss induced by microcurrent? Radiesse or Sculptra? What about hollow and saggy eyelids? Better stick to an HA over there?
I have the PTR Water Drench spf, and I like it! Nothing to rave about but it feels hydrating& lightweight.
the Peter Thomas Roth spf is expensiveeee but I feel its really good for people that hate sunscreen because its so light weight and literally feels like water when you apply it it just sinks in and feels like nothing. I always struggled with finding spf I like the texture of and this was one of the first ones I ever liked and would actually wear everyday with no complaints.
You just described most Korean suncreens that are a quarter the price lol
@@GlitterGuru where can we get these Korean sunscreens?
I live on the Northside of Chicago. There are 5 Targets within a 5 mile radius of my home and 2/5 have a large Ulta within them. It's more difficult for me to get to a standalone Ulta or Sephora so online shopping and Target's Ulta come in handy.
I also live on the Northside! I haven’t come across an Ulta in a Target yet, which ones have them?
Ulta at target is going to be the death of me. I have to very careful when I step in now. What I’ve been eyeing recently is the bioderma cleansing cleansing oil because 1. I double cleanse when I wear a full face of makeup and 2. You get a whole liter of product for $30! Dr. Dray, I would to hear hear your thoughts on it if you haven’t already.
Yes love the Ulta area in Target! Target's got it going on!
That’s an impressive selection of skin care products.
I’d like to say that some of us with migraine sensitivity to caffeine find that even externally applied caffeine can cause problems. So while it may be good for skin, it is contraindicated for people with other medical concerns.
I liked/Subscribed to your channel because of your "Shop with Me" series! Thank you for educating your viewers about the details of the products.
