Interesting fact, the word captain derives originally from the latin word capital, which means head. Several centuries later, it was discovered the Arabic word for head was kapoot Which was conjuncted with the Latin word for vessel to give us the word captain… directly translated, captain literally means shiphead… so an International translator would automatically recognize that captain and ship's head are exactly the same word
