No joke. Every time I read/watch a scifi where aliens learn about humans by downloading the internet, I always wonder how they missed the porn. Seriously, any aliens scanning the internet would assume that 70% of human culture is badly written erotica.

Well we humans have the widest resistance to poisons in the whole planet so we kind of are crazy (Many animals are resistant to poisons but those are highly specific while we are resistant to maybe 100 or so)

Not particularly related to this story, but in all the various deathworld stories I've read there's been no mention of seasons. This would be somwthing worth exploring since seasons are not some universal guarantee

We did. Dismantled means taken apart not destroyed. Took the engineers a day and a half to get our stock piles back into the thousands.
