I am 69 and so many of the young teens at my church say; Miss Carol you look like a million bucks! Lol. I also like all different price points that you offer. I do use Rakutan and so many times they have a sale on what you show. It is impossible to please everyone. Just please yourself 💖

I’m 72, but I want to drive conservative but elegant looking at a reasonable price. I enjoy watch your videos and have bought many things that you’ve shown. No.1 just laugh at all the negative and rude comments people make. Their problem is they aren’t a happy person and God himself could please them. Keep up the good work
I really appreciate you recommendation on the more expensive brands, I appreciate the better quality. It is nice when you find good quality items for a cheaper price, I appreciate that also.
I love the orange gauze shorts and top, gauze is so cool and breathable for the summer.
Please don’t worry about pleasing everyone. I appreciate that you show items from a variety of retailers, as I too shop at a variety of retailers. When you are petite you can’t always shop at discount retailers, as they don’t always carry petite clothes. Some people are never satisfied.
When I turned 50, now I'm 54, I told my husband no more buying clothes from Walmart, second hand shops or teenage/college age clothing stores. I wanted elegant clothing, nicer material, well fitted, stylish for someone my age and I didn't really care about the price. I do cringe sometimes when I buy a pair of jeans or nice dress slacks for $50 on up, but I keep reminding myself, I am at the age I deserve an outfit at that price! Love your videos!

I loved most of these and a lot of them come in plus sizes as well , that poplin dress would be my favorite, cotton is my favorite favorite especially with sensory disorder , I can’t wear a lot of the microfiber type fabrics . I think you could finish that dress with a bright colored belt . I’m going to have to get that one

I know these ‘day dresses’ are popular- the remind me of 40s farm dresses. Just can’t get into them. I love flutter sleeves like the chambray top you gave - but the Rosie mauve dress - ruffles too big. Mostly like the choices.
You play (new dress) with it more, which isn't a good sign of comfort.

Another great video. I love the Old Navy crinkle gauze. Have 3 tops, 2 shorts and 3 long pants. Like you said, they are oversized, but absolutely the coziest to put on at the end of the day and relax. I live in Phoenix and you can't beat 100% cotton that doesn't wrinkle. BTW, ON puts daily sales on things all the time. Grabbed them at really good prices if you can catch a sale.
Another top notch video. I appreciate that you try to show a variety of prices of clothes. Everything looked great on you with maybe the exception of the black dress. It’s not terrible, but not as flattering as the other outfits. I absolutely love linen. I don’t mind the wrinkles. Chico’s has a line of linen that doesn’t wrinkle as badly as most. Thank you for all your work. It shows!

I’m a new sub. I just found you a few days ago. 😃 I just placed an Amazon order for the sleeveless knit duo that you modeled on this video. I ordered it in the coffee color and I am 5‘10“ so the pants will definitely be more cropped on me and I’m good with that. I plan to style it with black, with light blue, and with light pink accents/accessories for summer.
I believe I can wear it in the fall with a cardigan or a shacket and booties and it will look great as well.

I love that you show us a wide variety of retailers. I like a bargain but it must be quality and I prefer natural materials. Especially in summer. I have that Old Navy crinkle gauze set. The inseam is 5" which makes them the perfect length for me at 5"2". I bought the black set and then immediately ordered another in white. Great minds think alike. It is so light and cool to wear.

Favourite outfit was the chambray top with the chino shorts. The bag and sandals also completed the outfit for an awesome look. It is a very good look for you .I don't like the black dress. Like you, I like the idea but it just looks kind of blah on you. Not a fan of the mauve dress either. I like ruffles and bought two ruffle sleeve tops this year but I think the ruffles on that dress are too big and ruffly and little girly like.

Great video! Quick question for you.........if you snip off those ties that hang down from dresses or shirts, do they not ravel out or fray ? Do you sew across them with a needle and thread or use fray magic or whatever they call it nowadays? I use to sew alot for my daughter, Diana but don't anymore. Thanks for your help! I don't really like those things either, they are just in the way at the neckline 3/4 of the time.
No, I just cut them off right at the seam and they haven't frayed.

Another great video! Although, I shop at more lower priced stores, I still enjoy seeing & getting ideas with your selections at the higher end. We have similar measurements but I might be a tad bit older (59). In all honesty, the black dress is way too big for your small frame. I have the same problem with shift style dresses. I am soon to retire from a long career of office work, and find myself struggling with what to buy now that my days-off leisure wear feels like it will be my everyday wear and I don’t want that to happen! I feel like you’re showing me the ideas I need to still maintain some style. I’m also 5’2 so I appreciate your take on the various styles and lengths. Hello, Serena! My comment on the black dress is “ if you don’t love it, your probably won’t wear it.” It was okay but a bit boxy in the back and from the side not good…did you ever think of seeing if it could be taken in on the sides waisted area? Otherwise I didn’t hate it.
