A lot of people say this is simple, but sometimes we don't need 500 instruments blaring random tones in our ears. I mean it is beautiful just the way it is, and a theme is usually simple but then mixed and mashed for different scenes. it's so elegant, so... celestia-like, it fits really well with her
and the melody is very catchy and simple, that's the kind of fanmade mlp music i was looking for :) -not that the other ones aren't good, but i love more simple and catchy stuff like VGM-
also, this is so 2012 and i don't mean this is a bad thing, it's actually one thing that makes me love even more this piece, i miss those times and it gives that nostalgic vibe a lot

Yeah, it needs to be re-mastered and re-orchestrated some day =)
There's nothing that's technically wrong with the song. In regards to tonal harmony and composition, it holds it's weight. Perhaps why they rejected it was because it was a little plain. Just keep working at it, it's going to take some time. Don't forget that EQD is super picky about it's music usually, and that's not a bad thing.
Oh, just one last thing, since you do not have a download, may I convert this? I'd love to listen to it at work! I promise to not use it without asking first :3
