Hello everypony! Ever since I posted my first composition back in 2012, people have been constantly asking for a song dedicated to the fandom's most beloved princess. After many delays and rewrites, I'm finally happy with it and I'm excited to share it with you all.
While some parts of the song are directly based on Luna's BGM themes from the show (most notably this one: • "'Silly Sleep' / Princ... , a larger part of the song is, as usual, my original composition, where I tried to capture main aspects of Luna's delicate personality - her kindness, grandeur and elegance, but also her struggles with the darkness of Nightmare Moon and her relentless determination to look beyond her past and into a bright future at Celestia's side. I hope you enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed composing it and you can look forward to more from me later this year!
PS: And yes, the title is totally a nod to the magnificent OST of Final Fantasy X :-)

I can't believe this. I remember listening to this guys music way back in 2013 when I was in middle school and loved it so much. I came back after learning about the new mlp movie coming out soon and I was just going through some of my fav videos that came out of the fandom back then. I remembered Melodicpony and well, now I'm here. His music is still so wonderful to listen too and i'm going to miss him dearly.

Fire Phoenix Equestria Daily News : We have some sad news for you guys today to report. MelodicPony, the creator of absolutely stunning orchestral pony pieces since 2012, has passed away from an alleged stroke at the age of 27 . While starting as a rumor on one of his videos, I was able to contact the good folks of Czequestria (since Melodic lived in Prague) who confirmed through a friend of Melodic's that he had indeed died.
While he was only able to share with us a brief glimpse of his amazing musical talent, his works will be remembered and may he rest in peace. Thank you Melodic for sharing your work with us, we'll miss you.

The part at 3:17 always strikes me on an emotional level. It’s crazy to think about how the composer who made this is no longer with us. We’ll never get something as good as this ever again. Such a tragedy that the brightest stars burn out the soonest.

I was watching an animation based on this piece, which had a shared dedication at the end that included MelodicPony. That made me stop and quickly look up his name because I remembered it from the time I was lurking in the community.
Rest in peace, Melodic. Your music is a herald to your incredible talent.

Wow, I'm almost at a loss for words. What a beautiful yet peaceful track filled hope and optimism for the future. I think you captured the true meaning of the night in this one. In my mind you mirrored Princess Luna's inner self very well. This is very well composed very inspirational indeed. When I listen to it, I hear and feel such raw emotion. The strife from a dark past and the determination for a brighter future.
This is a new favourite of mine you are the best Brony orchestral artist.

It’s like the one song says “a good song never dies”…..same can be applied to good composers….even 9 years going on 10 I still every so often relisten to this melody
we shed tears for the loss of our friend, we are hurt from his passing, but what we will never stop doing is believing and keep moving ahead, we may not see him nor hear him, but Melodic is still with us in spirit, we will continue this road together with him watching over us, lets do it...lets continue this adventure together, for equestria, for the mane 6, for all bronies/pegasisters, and most of all for him! /) For melodic!!!

On top of that, I even subscribed to his content a few years ago. Yes, the brony subculture is a truly unique and rich world, through whose work we are still in touch with the My Little Pony universe to this day. Fantastic!
Of course, I am not a full-fledged brony myself, but I am an advocate of Peace, Friendship, Mutual Understanding, Harmony and Love - especially now, when mankind is mired in chaos and madness, and most people have simply forgotten that Love and Virtue are the basis of harmonious prosperity and peace on Earth!

When I first joined the fandom in 2014, this was the first Brony Composer I came across. I was still struck how a girl's show inspired this. I was listening to his music everyday that year, and was requesting his songs in the final months of Everfree Radio. I was waiting for two years for more when that happened.

So short was his time composing, In this Melodic's sixth and final piece you can hear and feel the thought, love, care and effort he put into this Orchestral Instrumental. The liner notes he left tell his love for the fandom and his art. A shinning tribute to Melodic was paid him by Minty Root who's PMV set to this Orchestral shows the depth of love for him and his work as a fellow creator. Had he lived longer, what wonders we would enjoy along with these six incomparable jewels we have. A true virtuoso, rest in peace sweet prince you've found your eternal Equestria.
My dog went to heaven last year and I miss her. Melodic hearing your music let's me know she is happy and hope all dogs listen to your amazing music too up there. You brought joy to many just by making art of music in which you loved. But, I wish many could've heard more of your new songs but were blessed to have your channel alive and well to keep listening to your music.
We have lost someone from our family, MelodicPony. He was a wonderful person who expressed his love through music. A beloved brony has passed, a heart of music passed with him. may he forever be remembered.
I'm sad that I discovered his work this late since his passing. However, his musical projects are loved very well by many to this day as far as I see. May he rest well among the clouds and stars with Luna watching over him.
