    Interesting that she is running Falken Wildpeaks. She's a pro and could probably run any brand tire. I've been running Falkens for about 25K miles and they have been a great all around tire. Excellent in rain and snow and crawled over everything I ran into out in Colorado, and relatively quiet on pavement for an all terrain tire.

    • @shitloveaduck

      I live in irrigation country and see the Falcons often on farm work trucks. In irrigation country they see a fair amount of mud. Sand/clay type mix generally. I used to ranch in the Foothills to the Rockies and ran BFG KO2s. The KO2s are just ok in the mud, but great elsewhere. Haven’t tried Falcons yet.
      I’m actually looking to trade my 2022 F150 Tremor for a very low use Power Wagon of a friend’s. He doesn’t want to deal with the fuel economy and size. I would be hauling an 1100 lb truck camper without an overhang on the front. It’s basically a 1 person unit (Rayzr FK). I can haul it with the tailgate up in the Power Wagon. A definite plus for me. The camper has 240 ah (LiFePO4 battery) with 350 watts solar and then there’s a 3000 watt inverter. I wouldn’t use all 3000 watts, but nice to have in case of an emergency & I’m helping out. I disabled the converter/inverter by putting it on its own breaker. The camper can then plug into the aftermarket inverter and the solar provides 110 and 12 volt power all the time in the camper. It doesn’t have air conditioning, but the microwave and TV are nice. (I put a fair sized TV that swings down from the roof 😂). It’s not camping unless you have the TV!! 😂 the truck would still be used the same as the Tremor, just is a better size. I will pocket some cash from the deal as well!!

    FWIW to PW owners out there, don't waste your money on that AEV pre-filter, it is sized for a MUCH larger constant RPM diesel application (think CAT size on a road grader), not our small 6.4's running low RPM in dusty off-road situations. Also, the best mod you can get is from Abel Components, allowing you to disconnect the front swaybar and lock front and rear at any speed, 2hi, 4hi or 4lo. No waiting for the nanny's to let you use the goodies when and where YOU want!

    • @KeithStarr
      @KeithStarr 2 роки тому

      Don't forget the Abel Nanny Kill Switch! That sucker is worth it's weight in gold.

    • @bdd1469
      @bdd1469 2 роки тому +2

      So...In your brain, having a pre-filter that is designed for heavy equipment that continuously works in extremely dusty conditions, and flows enough CFM for a much larger engine, on your truck that you use in dusty conditions is a bad thing? Weird. To me, having an industrial grade pre filter that will likely never need to be replaced on my daily driver seems like a great idea.

    • @donleamon8653
      @donleamon8653 2 роки тому +1

      @@bdd1469 - No, in principle it is good, if it was properly sized. The one AEV sells (which is from Sy-Klone) is too large for the 6.4 to operate as designed. It operates on centrifugal force generated by an internal fan spun by the volume of air going through it. I spent a fair amount of time with a nice engineer at Sy-Klone and attempts to get AEV to rectify my purchase. AEV wouldn't budge, so need less to say, I'll never purchase from them again. The whole snokle kit is pretty poor fitting and requires partial disassembly to replace the windshield additionally.

    • @DanBCooper
      @DanBCooper 2 роки тому +3

      Bro the Cummins Rebel is a 2500 Ram with a rear locker. Not even a n the same ballpark. Extra $10k for the diesel it would take a long time to make your money back. I mean no offense btw. Cheers brother.

    • @KeithStarr
      @KeithStarr 2 роки тому +5

      As cool as having the 6.7 Cummins in an off-road focused truck sounds (I love diesels and I love inline 6's) it would be terrible for the work she does. Anyone who wants one...hasn't driven one in 6+ trails off-road. The front end is akin to an anchor, pulling you the direction IT wants to go. Off camber and wanna go straight? Nope, you're sliding left. Add in the de-rate from potential DPF issues caused by slow crawling and you're in trouble. That's not even getting into the lack of articulation and front locker. If you need serious off-road and recovery capability (e.g., recovering Jeeps in Moab and Sedona) with the ability to tow up to 10k the Rebel HD Cummins is a poor choice. If you need to tow heavily for long distances and drive on some dirt roads it's an excellent choice.

    • @mattlimberg5763
      @mattlimberg5763 2 роки тому

      @@KeithStarr I see what you and Dan Cooper are saying, I was thinking she works her vehicles hard, puts a good amount of mileage on it, towing and recovering vehicles.
