Why not use both sides of the otg cable so u don't need another cable to charge a phone or so u can charge 2 phones at once
it wont work because the power its generating is only enough for one phone due to the old car connector wich reduces the voltage to 5v wich is what a phone takes to charge and if you put 2 phones then the energie gets devided in two do 2.5v running in each phone wich is not enough to charge both of them... BUT!!! if you have multiple of these then yes

because a 12v dc motor when reversed to generate electricity it generates 5v (5v is what your phone uses to charge)
But it can destroy battery life.
