I’ve been wanting to read this one. Cool fact: this is one of the handful of books that are basically nonexistent in Books A Million or Barnes and Noble. And it took awhile for me to get this one. I’ve had an urge to try the books. It seems like 13-19 is easier to pick up than the first 12. So I might get to this one very soon. A 5/5 gets my ears perked! Great review! Btw, I haven’t read Wizard Of Ooze yet but I’ve wanted to read it. I got like 1/3 the way through it and stopped a while back and never finished it for some reason lol. God bless you!
Can’t wait to hear your thoughts, one day, man! I was very surprised by it. I never saw this one in a store, either, even though it was a later book. Really surprised by it hahah. God bless you! Thanks for watching, once again!
Every Horrorland book after the Help We Have Strange Powers story I don't remember, same with this one. I guess I didn't like the later books that much to the point where I forgot about them way back. XD Glad you refreshed my memory, cause this story sounds pretty good now. :o :)
@@MichaelGoosebumpsFan The only later book I remember of this series is Horror At Chiller House, the last one, which was kinda underwhelming to end off on. But now I kinda want to go back to some of these. Glad you liked Heads, You Lose. :)
@@MichaelGoosebumpsFan hey mate, just to share with you if u dont know that on OCTOBER 13 on DISNEY PLUS we will get to see RL STINE"S JUST BEYOND SERIES BASED ON HIS BOOKS IT WILL CONTAIN 8 EPISODES WITH 8 DIFFERENT STORIES I HOPE U WILL SEE THEM.And i think u should make a video on it.(i hope u will do)well what's your thoughts on this?
This is another one of those...fine books. It's basically Terror Tower meets The Headless Ghost. It's well paced and has good setup and payoff, there's nothing to object to but it's nothing too special either. I may rate it higher when I re-read it but for now it just...exists, I rarely think about it. That's likely why no one talks about it, it doesn't leave a big impression, like a lot of arc 2 lol Next is Wizard of Ooze, another comic book story and easily the most...okay one.
You’re probably right hahah. Like I said in my video, it may just be a current-moment high, but I’m just surprised I don’t hear much about this one, since I hear so much about the ones I wouldn’t expect to hear about (How I Learned to Fly, for example). Thanks for watching, Spongey! God bless you!
Pretty good video I honestly enjoy the book a lot for what it is. I can understand people opinions of liking and not liking but I am more of enjoying it for the most part.
@@MichaelGoosebumpsFan I can see why they delayed a lot of times but I think they had a enough time to finish it. but then again it’s probably the sketches that take to long to find in Tim attic also write the facts too.
Great review man! Even though I previously gave up on this series, maybe I should give this one a try. I read the Chiller House and Panic Park one a long time ago and didn't like them at all (from what I remember, lol)
Thanks, man! I’m sorry you didn’t like Panic Park; I thought it was so great hahah. Probably the Endgame of the series’ era, for me lol. I can’t wait to read Chiller House. I’m really hoping for a wonderful finale.
Wow and to think I looked at this books cover so many times in high school when it first came out but literally never even read the back. I too, assumed it would just be another spin on The Headless Ghost. So, is Horror Land the series really just misunderstood and underrated in some ways by trying to reach too high with its concepts? Much like the Marc Webb Amazing Spider-Man films?
I think you hit it right on the head. I think the connecting storyline did more bad than good for the brand, at the time lol. But hey! I love that first Amazing movie! Still my favorite Spidey flick! 😂 Dont get me started on that horrible sequel, though (wasn’t Webb’s or Garfield’s fault lol).
@@MichaelGoosebumpsFan I'm just now experiencing the TASM 2 video game. So far, it's better than the film that bears its namesake. I also ordered the first Amazing Spider Man video game. I agree, the first movie is just a whole another level compared to the sequel that just tried to reach too far.
Hey, man, I haven’t read it for the channel, yet, but I’ve read it probably five times, throughout my lifetime hahah. It’s a good one. I’ve been waiting off on it, because I’ve read it so many times 😂
I wasn't a huge fan of it. I didn't really like it and I thought most of it was boring and just had a lot useless scenes, and all the characters made stupids decisions. I'm just disappointed in the 2nd wave of the horrorland books. 1.6/10 didn't really enjoy it. (o also I'm in the age range of the books just thought I should mention that)

@@MichaelGoosebumpsFan This. Disney isn't the same anymore unfortunately. That's why Star Wars is struggling. XD :/
