From the way that this book sounds like, it shares some likenesses to The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow with the main antagonist being like the horseman, trying to find his head and tormenting others. The Horseman in The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow also never found his head.

This one is fine. It's decent enough, it just doesn't do anything super special. It doesn't do anything wrong, I like the setting, the mystery and the setup and payoff. It just feels a bit repetitive and doesn't do anything super notable, it's just kind of there. So there's that.

I do appreciate the operant conditioning of the MC’s brining in magic experience to defeat the people of the past. It was kind of refreshing in that regard I guess? Lol

Great review man. A 4.2 eh? Is this your favorite Horrorland so far? Maybe, IF I ever revisit the series I'll give this one a try, lol

It’s a pleasant surprise for the things I highlighted but has more similar in vain negatives it’s predecessors have as well to kind of deflate it as well lol

I got disappointed with The Headless Ghost when I first read it. just asking, do you like this one more than the Headless Ghost or nah?

If I had a preference, honestly I’d tie them, only because the ending ruins Headless Ghost more so than anything else.
