I'm not a gecko breeder, but for my small business in 2024 its quality over quantity. If the females are not at weight let them chill so they can make a few really good babies and be ready for the next year. Maybe things will be better then.

Excited to see this project! I myself am only doing about 4 pairing this season. Im small scale so im more going for quality and im working with lilly white, axanthic, softscale and cappuccino. 2025 is when ill pairing my axanthics that are currently growing.

500 sounds like an insane number.. like I'd be concerned about 500 babies going to good homes... but maybe that's just me. I'd rather have high quality babies and genes than have way too many to find homes for or over saturate the market with. Maybe 500 isn't a lot but in my brain.. most reptile keepers I know only keep or can afford to keep so many animals.
