I sold my RV about 3 years ago and I am glad I did. I miss it, but I don't miss the 8 miles per gallon and the greedy RV parks that have doubled their fees over the last 3 year.
Used RVs were bringing top dollar 3 years ago. It was a great time to sell. The 2 best days of owning an RV are the day you buy it, and the day you sell it. LOL. A money pit from the word go. LOL
I love camping. Our family has loved it, we can take our dog too. I can afford to pay $200 a month for a camper

yes, you can use storage tubs to grow potatoes, plastic storage drawers to grow spinach,lettuces,etc. Self watering planters are good to grow tomatoes and bell peppers
The problem with rvs: expensive to maintain, need storage, expensive insurance, expensive gas, hard to get reservations for parks
Still its cheaper than real estate and a good temporary shelter. A RV park is lot like a trailer park and offer a refuge from the rat race. You can even tow a small car with the RV.

I'm divorced and my kids are grown up and gone. So I rented out a bedroom and the living room to friends of mine. The rent they pay is more than the house payment was. My house is fully paid for. Now my house is making me money. I'm living there for free
For me personally, it's groceries thats the biggest strain for me! 4-5 years ago, as a single guy for about $185 I could actually feed my self for a month believe it or not? Now, it's like $500 a month or so! Unbelievable!🤦🏽

Michigan state parks we use $32 a night. I can still easily afford that. We cook at the camp site which saves us big money on vacation
I had knee replacement last month. Was mis as hell for a couple weeks but I finally got moving and doing a few things. I’m about back to normal now with a little swelling. I walk and been turkey hunting and fishing. I’m not even taking Tylenol now. Haven’t for over two weeks now

The RV Lots borrowed money to buy the RV's. Banks are on the hook for all the debt. Banks start collapsing, people pull money out of banks and a 1930's depression starts.

If the dealer used floorplan financing then the lender would likely contact the OEM to have them repurchase the collateral. Either that or they’d contact another dealer they do business with and attempt to get that dealer to assume the original dealer’s inventory if the collateral is aged. This would have to be approved by the OEM of course because most floorplans are set up through the manufacturer.

I've had arthritis since I was 18 and I'm 68 now. I cut grass, walk, and always doing something. Sitting is the worse thing for it. If you don't use your lose it. Your pain is worse.
$4.29 ham and cheese sandwich at local supermarket. Had probably 3 to 6 times the amount of ham that any sandwich chain offers and had 2 slices of cheese on it.
Bought a tin of baked beans . The actual beans were about 75% of the tin. The rest was water sauce. As a Brit we love our baked beans.

I think if people are really struggling with food costs, they should try making beans and cornbread. Generic Oatmeal is still somewhat cheap also. We are use to eating whatever we want, and now it’s not always affordable or healthy.

Higher gas prices, interest rates, and inflation isn't the only reason for higher prices at the grocery store. The biggest reason for higher prices is price gouging that helps out the mega rich CEO's that want more money $ so that they can tell the stock market that their wages increased again, and again!

I am a big brother through the big brother big sister group to an 18 year old white male high school student who wants to get a job. He is getting discouraged with all the DEI discrimination. I am trying to encourage him not to give up and lie flat playing video games this summer.
Remind him that he is wonderfully made. That God has a great plan for his life.
Tell him to become a lineman. Try getting on with a utility company, local union, or go non union to get started. My next recommendation is becoming a police officer, great retirement.
Ok. Maybe he can learn a trade. Welder, hvac. While he learns a trade...apply to tsa. The security at the airport. Its a federal job. I did that through nursing school. Look at usajobs.gov...federal benefits. Transportation officer is the title. He can move from there to customs or homeland security. Great jobs. 🤩

Tell him to go to a good trade school and learn a trade. He won’t have much debt from that, he will always be able to get a job and AI won’t be able to take his job. He can start his own company, work hard and make a lot of money. Nobody cares what race somebody is when they need the house or business repaired.
