    I watch ALLLLL the carnivore channels. I've been frustrated and in a downward funk with my weightloss and fitness journey these last few months. THIS video right here has given me more hope and motivation than any and all other videos I've watched this year! I got up a bit ago from not being able to sleep well again and feeling defeated when I saw you had posted this video minutes ago. I thought 🤔 hmmm, I wonder what Larry's up to now. Wow! Thank you so much! I truly feel hopeful again! I'm going to try this method and get my mind and body back on track. I wanted you to know I appreciate the time you and Cassie put into these videos.       @@ActivateMission2ThisTimeline yes but you need the high fat foods to help your body build muscle to replace the adipose tissue you are carrying around on your body. Deprivation [long -term fasting] works best when you have already been doing intermittant fasting for a while and eating only one or two meals a day. You will reduce fat [and need smaller clothes] and build muscle without extreme body building, just walking around the block every day.

    Laura Spathe was the exact person I thought of when you mentioned it was time to change things up! I remember her saying that she has to incorporate fasting because she eats too much when she eats intuitively! Same here! That’s some very aggressive fasting but to be honest, your speech was slurring after your third 3 day fast….51 blood sugar is awfully low. Just be careful and have fun with it as I can see you are! Can’t wait for the weight loss update!!!

      They really are . I’m the only carnivore I know in person . Definitely a lone wolf out here ❤❤ flexing that fasting muscle is amazing . I can’t sleep at all on clean carnivore . So lately I’m doing a large meal before bed and it’s been helping me sleep sound . I’m even dreaming ❤ eating early messes with my focus and productivity . One large meal around 3 then another snack of eggs or chicken around five im asleep by 8. Still a long way to go for healing ❤❤

    Huzzah, Larry! I find that 3-day fasts work well for me once every 6 weeks or so. I eat OMAD at midday. I am working through a lot of stress in my life right now, so I am going to hold off on trying to fast more often. I wish you continued success! Much love to you and Cassie! ❤😊

    I love her channel and you know I've been there since the very beginning but I cannot push this point across more to you, I would weigh myself everyday. I'm telling you I've taught my wife this it is the key to success. Waiting once a month and you can't adjust to what needs to be done. Now your plan is excellent in you're going to lose weight You're not eating right now but weighing yourself everyday especially when you're eating everyday is good information to have. Obviously don't overreact to the info but use it. I'm telling you you will feel more accountable knowing your weighing in every morning. My wife was in a stall as well for 6 months. She's dropped 10 lb in the last month and the biggest change she made was weighing herself everyday. She was a once a weeker and she admits now I was right about this. I have always felt it's been the key to my success as I've been at my goalway for over a year and I never am surprised as I weigh myself everyday and I can tell you when I wake up in the morning what I weigh within a half a pound either way 90% of the time. Especially when you get used to eating the same things everyday like carnivores do you'll really know. Keep going you know I'm rooting for you but I really do believe the worst thing somebody can do is weigh themselves once a month, it just makes things way harder

    Wow you must be feeling ZEN with ketones at 5.6! I knew you would figure out the tweaks you needed to make to get things moving again! I want to give you a challenge that made a huge change in how my pants fit but is really simple and easy. Do a 30 sec plank a day, I do the easy one where I hold my body rigid while resting on my hands rather than my elbows. But either method would work. I was shocked how much just 30 sec loosened the waist of my khakis. Typically I couldn’t get into them until I was 180, and they were hanging on me at 190. Really too big. ❤❤😊❤❤ keep up with all the great content!

    DANG LARRY!!!! Kickin a$$ and taking names.....the both of your are nailing it to the wall!!!!! I am only 3 months in and even I can feel "a fast approaching". It is so weird. In the first week that I started, as I was making breakfast, I said out loud "well this two meal a day thang is gonna get old REAL fast" and it did. I have been OMAD for about 11 out of the 12 weeks I have been on this. But lately, I get to dinner and I am eating less and less. I can't explain it. It's not an aversion, I am just not hungry. I cannot put away what I used to.

    I cannot tell you how this video and Cassies about giving up coffee encouraged me to get back at it. Lost 60, fell.off the rails since my Hawaii vacation in December. Did a fast Monday for 40 hours. Happy to say I am back at Carnivore again. With the exception of coffee. Maybe one day no coffee. Keep doing what you guys are doing!! ❤

    I agree with the title of this video! Stunning! Equally stunning is your consistency. It’s hard to fast on the weekends for those who might go to a get together. Dr. O’ Mara does a similar 3 day fast and 4 day feasting, although he is apparently at goal weight. Congrats, Larry. YOU did it!

    I did this to lose 130 lb. I would do a 72 hr fast, eat, then do a 48 hr fast. Then I would do 2 days of OMAD and start again. The weight melted then plateaued. I was eating too many calories. But by that point, I have lost so much weight I decided to stop fasting so hard. It was one of the hardest things I ever did, and I would not recommend anybody.

    One thing from my experience, I do not have any problems with refeeding as long as the fast is seven days or less. I just go ahead and eat my regular amounts. I have gotten some unpleasant reactions from not easing back into eating on fasts of ten days or longer, up to twenty one days. There is nothing wrong with what you are doing, and it does extend your calorie restriction for an additional time period, increasing your weight loss. But I have found the shorter fasts do not affect my digestion, so if you want I wouldn't be afraid of eating more at the end of a three or four day fast.

      Awesome Comment James. Yeah, usually I would eat some scrambled eggs then a regular meal later on to break a 3 day fast. The calorie restriction is what I was going for. When I did the 14 day fast I used the bone broth for a couple days adding the egg in the broth on the second day. Appreciate your input man.👍

    So inspiring Larry and Cassie. I want to do a long fast but somehow don't. I have stalled as well. Dairy found it's way in, again😢. Ok, rather than willpower, I think of it as discipline (Stoic)., so I am going to "put it on the schedule" and aim for 2 days. Thank you for the encouragement. 😊

    Good for you larry. I struggle with some of the intermittent fasting I can't go a whole weekend hell I can't even go a whole day haha. I can have my last meal at 5:00 p.m. and my breakfast the next day at 10:00 a.m. which is about 17 ish or so hours and that's good for me after that I get irritable😊

    Larry, that is SO awesome. I'll be watching for your end of month video for sure! I did the BBBE with you last April and launched myself into the carnivore diet. One year in I've lost 22 lbs and I just know I could lose a lot more if I incorporated more fasting. I think your protocol is amazing.

    Dint know if you've ever watched Dr Boz, but this is what she recommends! I've been debating about trying this protocol and you've convinced me it's the way to go. Dr Boz has a few different things she promotes but the fasting and high fat are definitely part of it.

    Yup, fasting my answer. I don't really lose weight on carnivore if I eat every day even with no cheats.

      Yeah people make the mistake of actually eating too much fat in my opinion. I know it's pushed but this way of eating but people need to throw in some lean protein meals it will really lower the calories or you can fast

    I just made the Chuck roast again. Omg. I overcook it one time only but the last three times it’s been perfect. I think about adding more spices, but I go straight salt every time because it’s just so good. Thanks again.

    My sugar has always been below 100 until doing carnivore and now it’s usually around 107-110. I’m ok with that but has anyone else noticed an increase in sugar doing carnivore? I know people who are diabetic and would love a 120.

    I’m glad this is working for you! I just believe our ancestors or even animals didnt have to analyze and maintain such rigid eating patterns. I know in many cases it helps maintain a regiment but I do believe we are over thinking this food thing.

      I hear ya, but our ancestors didn't have lab created frankenfood or 24hr access to hot and ready "food" at their disposal. Times have changed👍

    That's awesome Larry.
    And let's not forget the even more important thing than weight loss....and that's us regaining our health and beating all our man made dietary diseases.
    I think fasting is the most powerful form of regaining health and fitness. And it works with whatever diet you choose. But choosing the carnivore diet seems to make it quite easier to sustain....and also easier to pick yourself up and get back on board after a carb relapse.
    You are both beautiful people who are changing the world one steak at a time!

    I can definitely see a difference in your face and neck and your shirt is way too big. So good for you! That is awesome. But I am pretty sure I couldn't do fasting for 3 days in a row. But I do think I am doing what Casey did and give up dairy, plus I think I may do one or two meals a day. Part time fasting and see if that makes a difference. I am stalled too.

    Larry how does you body handle a glucose reading of 57? Every time I’ve over guess my insulin intake at night and my glucose drops to low 70’s, my heart beats so hard it wakes me up until I was able to take in a few carbs to get back near 90-100. Then I felt better.
    Doing carnivore now going into 2nd week I find my morning fasting glucose is still a little elevated (140-150) and I take a small dose of insulin to calm it down… but I’m eating only carnivore… not sure what’s going on with that

    Larry, great job bro. You have come a long ways. Question: if it works for 30 days, why not stay with this until it stops working. You could be at goal weight within a few months. Just a thought. Good luck

    Nice, I haven’t figured out how to get into ketosis, ketones >1 without fasting been doing carnivore OMAD since January 1st still feeling lean but that last 30 lb of fat is hard!

      Set up Cronometer, the free version is good enough. Most likely you’re overeating protein and under eating fat. Switch that up and you’ll be in ketosis within a few days. I got nowhere for years on carnivore by listening to the big docs like Dr Berry, Baker, Chaffee. As soon as I cut the protein and increased the fat, I started making progress. Good luck.

      @@carriesing the question is do I NEED to be in ketosis for carnivore? I just downloaded the app but I gotta get a scale. Im metabolically healthy, I get it ketosis is great for a million ailments and yes losing weight and I do periodic fasts but not like this video. I guess I’m trying to get the best of both worlds eat what carnivore stuff I want and lose weight, doesn’t have to be quick.

It depends on what you're looking for If you want to be in deep ketosis then you probably will get more mental benefits but most importantly you probably won't be as hungry. With that said if you want to lose weight you have to cut the fad. Eating leaner proteins will mean less calories and you will lose weight. I have done this for years and it's the lower fat higher protein days that cause you to lose weight. You will eat about the same volume of food and for a lot less calories in the weight will fall off. Look into Dr Ted naiman he explains it well all over UA-cam. Protein sparing modified fast is what it's called. Don't do it everyday because you will get hungry but every other day or a couple times a week trading high fat days for low fat days and eating leaner fat and you will drop the weight. Biggest mistake I made and it took me forever was doing what you're doing eating tons of fatty meat every single day. The reason Larry's seeing success is he's not eating some days so he's going to lose weight but if he was eating fatty meat all day everyday The weight would not come off and that's why he's been in the stall. I highly recommend if you don't want to fast like him then do what I'm telling you to do You will have less calories and you will lose weight

    I think there's two keys to losing weight with carnivore, you have to wear yourself every single day to stay on top of things. It makes you accountable the day before as you don't want to do anything out of the ordinary knowing you got to weigh in the morning. Number two you have to count your calories. I can pretty much tell you when I'm away down to the pound just based off of what I ate for the day. Once you start to find meals that you can eat in amounts and notice a drop in the weight day over day you go back to eating those same things. It's best to try to simplify things and to me this is the simplest way to do it

    Larry, when you fast for those three days do you only drink water, or do you also drink coffee?

      Mostly water, my coffee consumption has been way down. I only drink about 2 cups per day now👍

    Carnivore mainly going on 2 years. I dropped down to high school.....well below high school weight starting out but then kinda leveled out and I am 10 ish high now. I would like to drop that 10 so I am inspired by this and will kick it in starting in April. Thanks guys for being real.

      I did the same thing @eatmeatnosugar ! Got down to the smallest I've been in years , then 10 lbs crept up and I've battled it for months now. Doing the same as you .... April 1st I'm starting this ! Fingers crossed it gets us over this plateau ! Good luck

    One more question….. how many LMNT is it safe to drink in a 24 hour period?
    It’s about to get hot here in Texas and I could literally just drink them all day long

      You can have as much as you like Rosie. Just remember, the little bit of Stevia adds up if you overdue it but the extra electrolytes just get flushed out when you pee👍
