The AEM Performance Cold Air Intake boosts not only the power under the hood, but it cools your engine efficiently, so that you can experience better acceleration and less fuel waste. With better horsepower and torque, you can take your F150 wherever you want and you will enjoy the solid construction that has been created by AEM.
When you want an intake system that will last you, choose the AEM Performance Cold Air Intake. This intake is made to be durable and will provide your engine with the cold air it needs to operate efficiently. The mandrel-bent aluminum twin tube provides for better air intake and there is a heatshield that cools hot air off in a seamless and efficient manner.
AEM builds all of their cold air intakes with ease in mind and the AEM Performance Cold Air Intake is no exception. This intake is installed quickly in just an hour and all tools and components come with the kit. amtrucks.at/2m2KYOy

DAMM THAT TURBO SPOOL OFF 🔥😍😍😍🥰😘
Love mine, sounds awesome. Paired it with the afe power larger scoop. Also with the boomba vta mod. Sounds sick
I was looking at the same exact set up. Red scoop of course. :)
@@matthewcaldwell6767 also took out the turbo silencers, the spool noise sounds sick
@@msalazar89 I did the same! Plus the vent mod so I hear the blow off. That's my fav.
Did u need to tune it?
Nice!! I think I might get one... :-)
That is not a Maf sensor. This is a Map system. The sensor you unplugged is a IAT sensor
With the black rubber that lays on top of the heat shield, the hood lays on top of it to ensure no water gets into the air filter correct? And does the MAF adjust the air flow to the new air flow as opposed to thinking it is stock air flow?
Do you make a kit for the 2015 Ford Edge sport, it’s the same engine but I can’t find one designed for the Edge?
Does this intake provide better MPG? If not is there one that does?
Why do you not show the proper seating of the sensor.. So many people are having trouble with this.. Including me :(
Idk why but I bust out laughing every time you guys say something is "not 50 State Legal" bahahah
Same fitment for 2020? Hope so, looks and sounds great.
Yep! This kit fits 2020 model 2.7L Ecoboosts as well! -Zach
@@americantrucks what about 2021?
What? Not in stock??
Any reason why you guys left the vortex generator/silencer rings in the intake tubes?
I have taken the silencers out of the turbos and it has been shifting harder which has been concerning me so I put them back on. I only did it for turbo noise but decided to put them back on due to me worrying if the truck can take it or not.
is there one for the fusion?
Which one is better for the 2.7, AEM cold air or the Roush cold air??? The Roush filter is completely enclosed in the box.
I don’t have a complete cold air unit. I just use a AEM dry flow filter, in place of the Ford Motorcraft factory filter.
Seems like it would be pain in the ass to take it out to clean it
Bring back the buff guy
Have any statements on taking the intake silencers out and running VTA?
I did it to my truck and I'm gonna buy this. By doing those two free upgrades you lose fuel economy by about .5 mpg but it sounds way better
I'm new to the truck world. Had no idea about restricted in certain states. Let me guess. It's illegal in California
Yeah California is the no fun state when comes to cars and guns
No it is legal in California
There are no gains and I can see this kit draws nice warm & toasty under hood air. Nice.
naw it seals off against the top of the hood when it's closed. But I agree prob no gains just more fun noises
What do you think the turbos use? Hot air from the exhaust….. the air is going to go through the inter cooler
@@Early_2K with all due respect, that is completely false. It does not seal against the underside of the hood, nowhere near.
@@bunghole2826
You should look up volumetric efficiency 101.
If you're drawing in 200° air instead of 100° air, that puts you at 100° deficiency no matter what.
@@ColdSmokes how about you figure the intake sucking air from a restricted box or an open suck all the air it wants and needs while not in a “cold air intake box”. There videos all over showing there is more AND less restrictive cfm without using a cold air intake. On a FI with an inter cooler cold air intake isn’t nearly as important as making sure the system never starves off air and can pull it smoothly
Do these upgrades void factory warranty?
Normally, dealerships won't care too much about intakes that are no tune required like this one. But I highly recommend checking with your dealership before installing if you're concerned about your factory warranty. -Zach
BUILT FORD EXTREMELY TOUGH
How does air reach that filter, it's boxed in?
The intake scoop is still functional. Air goes into the scoop under the filter and the hood seals the top of the box.
@@jonathanreynolds8212 ty
Is it just me or does that not look like a 15-17 f150 , kept saying 2019
shifter8207 I was thinking the same thing
It’s 15-17. 2019 is different front end
It's a 15-17 the 18 and up have a different grill shape
Why do people say cold air intakes are a waste of money??
Because they can
Because they are. Don't you think that a car company would change the cold air intake if it made more power. I would think that engineers would be smart enough to figure that out.
Bought it anyways. Since I have to wait for stock, how about throwing a 10% discount to my order.... Thanks :-) Justin? You know me from my 2013 Mustang GT, so do the discount.... :-)
Thanks for the business and support, as always Robert! :) -Justin
@@americantrucks Sorry, I cancelled the order since it was out of stock. Got it from a Canadian distributor. Did come back for the JLT 3.0 though... :-)
Is there one for 3.5 ecoboost
it's working with V8 5.0 2016 ?
This will not fit any 5.0L V8 options, only the 2.7L EcoBoost. I'd highly recommend getting an intake specific to your engine for the best fitment and performance. -Zach
@@americantrucks thank you very much
Please let me know if you believe these claims about power and torque. If you do, contact me. I can give you a good deal on Ellis Island. If you like the increase in sound, that's fine. Your chances of getting hit by lightning are better than making any meaningful power with most cold air intakes.
15hp wont even be able to tell the difference. I could barely feel my 50 shot of nitrous
With those being aluminum the heat sink must be horrible.
First?
Jar Tac9 NO THERE FIRST.
Waste of money. Buy a throttle body space and a fuel line magnet if you want real gains.
