    Thankyou for showing us the process. I wanted to buy a cassava root to make some tapioca puddi g at home. This definitely looks like alot of washing, rinsing and drying. I wo der if i can do this

    When i was young, my aunt used to bring tapioca from Ghana

      We don’t soak the cassava before grinding . We grind it fresh after uprooting .

    Thank you so much for this in dept knowledge. This video hasbeen so educative. Pls i will like to ask a question cause i tried it an it didnt become tapioca flakes. So my question is how dry should the starch be before roasting cause i completely dried mine.

      We did not dry ours under the sun nor did we air dry it too , we just use the cloth and sand to suck the water out of it , sieve it then we continue to roast it .

      Gari is made with the main cassava and this is made with cassava starch 🥰

    Good work done my dear Thanks for promoting one of our staple foods. I like the background local music. My suggestion to you is that you could have shorten the process of mixing the cassava dough with water and that of sieving the "goma". You could have also shown us the decantation process. Good job anyway 👍

    Hello I need a answer please I have made tapioca starch and I have leave the mixture in sun for sometime to settle the starch and it's giving me a smell what to do? Is it bad or good

      @@memetube696 don’t put it under the sun , just cover and leave it about 24hrs then devant thé water u can later dry the starch .

      The cassava was grinded but . You can grate the cassava too .

    You did not tell us how you got the cassava dough. Was it grated or soaked in water to ferment? How do you eat the tapioca? We need to know.
