Got 5 full sets in 2001 from the mint ( 5 of each 3 coin sets 20c/50c/$1 ), the crazy thing is I'm trying to get more sets, but can' get any TAS, ACT & NT 50c and the VIC, TAS, WA & SA 20c used. The 3 coin sets are selling for $30 to $40 from dealers or $50 to $80 on ebay.
Many thanks for your time, Michael, bye c.s.
From now on, I'm going to hang on to each coin, and each dollar note. It's the story behind them that makes up part of Australian history.
Yes❤
Great video. I have 8 of them (50c) but looking for WA and Norfolk Island. Hoping to come across them in the future.
They are difficult to find
Very interesting look forward to hearing more about coin collecting thanks
Thanks. Appreciate it.
I remember somehow collecting them in change in 2008. It seemed easier then. Though I only ever found 1 Norfolk Island one.
Yes they are a lot harder to find now.
Fun fact (maybe):
I remember reading somewhere that the Aussie COA featured a Roo and an Emu, coz those animals can’t walk backwards…… thus highlighting the fact that Oz was a country that would be forever striving and moving forwards and
not stagnating or going backwards. Not sure if it’s true🤷♀️
Got a NSW COA and a Mabo today.
Haven't seen any off them, but i did stop using cash when covid hit.
What about the Captain Cook ones?
I am missing Tasmania and Queensland and have ten of the Australian coin.
@@JoanHenderson-bn1yz Yes they are hard to find.
Full set 9 x 20c, 10 x 50c, 1 x $1
I find all of them but not to many in great condition
I’ve actually got all of them and also there matching 20 cent ones
