Type beat cookup but less dry 😂
can do@@8thdan154
Learned a lot from this, I would like to see a sample made like this with some guitar vst's, tryna see something 👀
Create some psychedelic funk rock , that ish gets epic when you resample it.
@@pongtrometer Thatd be a good idea, I'll have to try sometime
❤
I didn't know such an incredible channel existed

Appreciate it 👊
🐐🐐🐐
🔥
🥇
Fye.
Appreciate it
Ive been looking to do this recreate soulful sounds from scratch. This is great at demoing whats possible
Absolutely, thats one of the great things about putting tracks together like this and with vsts. It can also be good for drafting an idea to be played by musicians or built upon by others
you definitely got my sub from this
Appreciate it 🙏
Supreme Soul
Can never go wrong with soul
Broo thanks for making a long term video!
Also what is a good way/video to look for understanding the altered chord thing you did, I have watched videos on harmony but there aren't much that is explained there so, do u have any specific people/video u would recommend?
100% thanks for the support, as for finding out about chord progressions and chord types, I suggest watching videos on playing the piano and then trying to replicate that into midi. My favorite channel is PianoPig for jazz kind of harmony and progressions
Definitely fire samples. Hope to collab soon bro
Facts we gotta collab, appreciate the support
thanks 8th. learned so much that I actually wanted to know. especially how to make those tom and snare rolls sound realistic. you gatekeeping the drums or nah?
Never gatekeeping, the drumkit is abbey road vintage drummer
bro if you dont show us what effects you used im going to touch you
and throw bricks at you
please bro your samples are so sick at least show us what effects you use like a full sample breakdown. Just make a masterclass or something where you show your secrets and go in depht with you production. I would gladly pay for a masterclass
Plz bro. Or i'll touch you also
😂😅 I dunno about that but the effects are simple, reverb of choice, EQ and maybe cymatics origin or izotope vinyl if you mean on the master
Good work ! 💪🏾... How does this method compare to using plug-ins like scalar 2. Is the process similar, or is there an advantage over the other? I'm fairly new in this area of composing so generally asking. Thanks
Scaler 2 or plugins like Ripchord can be great to come up with the ideas, although I think it helps to be somewhat aware of how the progressions or harmonies work so you can continue to build on them
You made this without a midi keyboard ? So you used your mouse? Thats crazy
Thanks, I usually do everything by mouse but I've been meaning to learn to play more things in
THIS SAMPLE COULD E SAMPLED TO MAKE ANOTHER SAMPLE THAT WOULD E SAMPLE SHEEEEEESHHHHHHHHHHHH
How does this even work 😂😂
@@Prod8th By the power of sampling :)
What did you use for the drums? Sounds incredible
Abbey Roads Vintage Drummer by native instruments, it has one of my favorite drum sounds when it comes to VSTs. There are some others I use too if you need recommendations
hey i know this is old but do you remember what piano you used in this sample? sounds great
It was a kontakt 7 bank I found on reddit but I dont see it available to download anymore, I recommend pianobook's Manthey Klaviano with decentsampler or Vintage Upright from SimpleSam
Where all the sounds come from?.. organ ? Glockenspiel? drums? vocals? the drums came tight.. you a drummer? liked all them rolls! good stuff! thanks for sharing! :)
Vintage Organs, Abbey Roads Vintage Drummer from Kontakt and the vocals are from EastWest Hollywood Backup Singers and Voices of Soul. The glockenspiel is from BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover, also I've never played the drums or any other instrument as of right now, but I plan to learn in the near future. Thanks for watching!
GOD DID!
But did I? 🤔
What plugin did you use for those drums?
Abbey Road Vintage Drummer from Native Instruments, thanks for watching
Bro where did u learn music theory like this?
Piano videos mostly(even though I dont play 😂) I can recommend the videos I checked if youre interested
what did you use for the choir?
Hollywood Backup Singers and Voices of Soul from EastWest
thanks man@@Prod8th
VEELO THEME!
One of the most fire themes
Bro u in half time ? Or double
Almost always halftime
U IN HALF TIME OR
Yes! the BPM was 66
sounds real good but saying "authentic soul samples" then working with midi and vsts is wrong imo
Authentic as in made from scratch, nothing wrong with using a VST it’s like an instrument just digital you still have to know music theory and a bunch of other stuff
Sounds pretty damn good to me, stop being pedantic
i also said it sounds good, learn how to read@@seang.6245
there is a level of nuance you will never get from midi only real instruments recorded with audio and human touch, thats a big part of soul music, if this was house or pop i would not write a comment at all, but i dont agree with the title of the video then using midi instruments@@seang.6245
Yeah you have a point, it might not be "Authentically" sampling but in the sense of making an authentic composition I think it fits well, especially since recording a dozen instruments professionally isnt exactly accessible to everyone. This was as close to "authentic" and "original" as I currently could get, but I appreciate the point I'll remember that when I name my videos
