This is good chunk of my interview with Randy, the Founder of Midwest Bigfoot Researchers. In 1977, when he was ten years old, Randy had an incredible encounter with a juvenile sasquatch. The ensuing events inspired a life long search for these magnificent creatures.
I highly encourage you to watch this video on the narrative itself first.
    You can find that here:
I'm still not really sure what to make of this saga, as is the case with most of the topics I cover, but fortunately, I recorded our discussions so that you can judge for yourself.
Against my better judgement, I decided not to edit the interview down to the 'good parts.' Whenever I watch an interview that is highly edited, I always wish they would've let it alone. That's why it is in it's unabridged form. Plus, I think it's important to get the whole story and see what Randy is like.
One note on the technical end, the microphone I had on Randy made the squeaking of his chair sound like the bugels of the undead elk, so I only used the audio from my microphone and therefore, I isolate his audio, so you hear all of my little contributions. Sorry about that.
    This is incredible.

But as I said before in a comment, mine happened right around the premier of (the Legend of Boggy Creek) so it could have been over imagination kicking in, while out checking my trap lines in a very thick and Boggy area. Lol

I have a few more notes.
First, I went back and forth on whether or not to edit this down to the ‘gems.’ Or whether or not to pause the interview and insert my commentary. But I decided to just play the whole thing and then give my break down at the end. Because that’s always how I prefer to watch an interview.
Second, for all the commenters who are upset that I would cover such a ‘ridiculous’ story, I cover all stories and let the viewer decide. I’m not exactly sure what to make of this tale myself. It saddens me that so many viewers are upset that my last video exists, I appreciate all opinions, but your opinion shouldn’t abolish all opposing views.
Third, many comments have accused Randy of just trying to sell his t-shirts… The t-shirts in the background are bigfoot paraphernalia he has collected over the years. They are not for sale. Randy does not sell merchandise. I never took a dime from him nor did he take one from me. If this is all some kind of ‘get rich quick scheme’ on Randy’s part, he’s doing a very bad job at it.
    Thank you,
    BG

This is one of the most interesting and cool things to hear about for me in a very long time and I'm sure most people here agree. It's not about whether or not the story is true, it's about the fact that it COULD be true and how exciting that is (imo). Thanks for the content and keep doing a great job!

Even Sasquatch adults, as the same with Human adults, sometimes have no idea how to handle their unruly children.

Awesome video as always. I'd like to give my take on Randy rather than his story. As someone who has a deep and abundant background as a body behaviorist and psychologist.
First off, I don't want to claim Randy's story is real or fake. I want to focus on his behavior during the interview. And my conclusion is; he isn't lying. When he talks, his body posture is matter of fact rather than looking for confirmation. When people lie, they tend to have a trending upward inflection in their voice. At the end of the sentence they'll look directly at the person they're trying to get confirmation that they beleive their story.
When someone lies there's a whole range of voice and body changes throughout the discussion. They'll at one point be excited while moving their hands in gestures to "sell their story harder". Or they'll be more timid and withdrawn if they think something they said didn't land.
Randy stayed consistent although uncomfortable. He didn't seem uncomfortable because he was lying. He genuinely seemed uncomfortable because of the topic at hand. You can see at a few points when talking that he rubs his arm and shoulder. That's usually a sign of stress and being uncomfortable from remembering a past traumatic event. Everyone does something different. Some people blink a lot, scratch their face, cross their legs. There's a myriad of things.
Secondly, his voice pattern. He isn't stumbling over words in order to "think of something". He doesn't stumble at all in fact. He clearly and precisely knows how to articulate what he's thinking. And I believe it's because he's remembering. Remembering is a much stronger cognitive function than "creating". As in creating a story. It's either that, or this guy is an absolute master at formulating and remembering said formulated stories. And if that were true, this man would easily be in the top of the CIA undercover division.
With that said, there isn't one action that defines wether a person is lying or telling the truth. But everything garnered from this short interview tells me that something did happen. And the scary part is there are THOUSANDS of people with the same story. Saying the same thing. Divided by cultures, language, even periods of time. If nothing else it was a very interesting account. Apologies for the essay.

Their very large canines, which appear to be hidden normally, seem to grow out of no where when they open their mouth past a certain point. If this story is true most likely it was something like that. They’re always there but when it opened it’s mouth they were far more visible and appeared to protract out.

On randy case he had a traumatic experience that was suppose to feel like a hazy dream, he didn't have a traumatic experience to get those hazy memories back I think his brain forced his intellect to recall those events due to an urge needing to be filled, that's why he was now able to detail his stories on paper because his mind forced it

I can believe Randy believes what he is saying, and I wouldn't say he's crazy, but the mention of hypnosis is a big red flag. In my experience hypnosis is often more likely to produce false or distorted memories than it is to actually retrieve memories. Randy’s experience of gradually recalling these lost memories does closely resemble instances of people recalling false memories brought about through hypnosis sessions.

A LOT of stuff in these encounters are fantastical and just plain not likely, but that doesn't mean he made it up. That's just how he remembers it, and he even said a lot came back to him through dreams, so I take this story with a grain of salt that a good deal of it either didn't happen or was simply remembered wrong - mixed with dreams. That said, the level of detail is high, and you can tell that HE believes it, so some or even most of this may have happened.

So at least twelve people were directly involved in this fantastical story, that's enough people to turn this story into world news in a short time. People would tell everyone they know or see for years nonstop. So twelve people telling several people on a daily basis would multiply rather quickly. I can understand that officials can shutdown a one or two person encounter that lasted less than one minute. To have an ongoing encounters by so many people and still get shutdown is very unlikely unless they all suddenly died. Things that make you go hmmm.

I have been bingewatching your channel for a year or two and I've thoroughly enjoyed everything you have uploaded. That's coming from a huge skeptic too. Cryptozoology has always been fascinating to me though, and your effort and scientific approach in these videos stands out to me. I want to say that the negativity in the comments in this, and the previous video, is unwarranted in my opinion. You shared a story that many find hard to believe, but you clearly stated that you are not sure what to make of it yourself. To me that does not discredit you or your work at all. The story was interesting and entertaining to me, and provoked discussion. What someone takes and decides to believe from this story is up to them. To me the quality in the production and storytelling is still there. I agree with posting it and wish people had listened to your comments at the beginning of the first video about not verifying him simply because you posted this interview. People need to decide for themselves. Personally I’m more concerned with Bears and Mountain Lions, venomous Snakes and such, than any creature like Sasquatch when I’m out in the wilderness. There are monsters in our forest and they eat humans. Coastal Brown Bears and Grizzly Bears are extremely dangerous and I have hunted them along with Black Bears that can be just as lethal if you come across them in the wrong circumstances. I try and keep an open mind so I did my best to listen to his story. I just got the feeling that he’s in his own world about this topic. Just the view of the room with all those Bigfoot tee shirts gave me a funny feeling about his credibility. That’s just me and I respect anyone who feels he was being 100% factual. I personally don’t get that feeling. Thanks for taking the time to assemble these videos and allowing us to decide.

Really great interview Bob! You have good interviewing skills. Don’t worry about the folks that are critical of you engaging with a story like this. It seems to me that with Sasquatch, like the topic of UFOs, that regardless of the conclusions we come to, people are having experiences that are difficult to explain with conventional knowledge. I don’t know what that means, but do believe their stories are valuable and deserve to be paid attention to. Thanks for all you do Bob!

*Awesome accounting,* so glad you finally bit the bullet and got this aired. His story deserves to be told. As I said last week, the 4 leg thing makes total sense after my "encounter" in the mid 70's. It wasn't until just recently I ran across somebody on YT talking about them being able to flatten themselves like spiders and run that I flashed back to what I witnessed way back then and suddenly it all made sense. What better way to move through thick underbrush quickly and quietly? That insistence along with the other revelations lends credibility to his story. But, like most everyone else here, I'm still skeptical given the circumstances. I don't even trust my own memory of events 45 years ago as a teen, much less somebody else.

It's amazing , that this "family" of sasquatch actually created a "home" in the bushes . Complete with shiney decorations , pictures blankets , several rooms . It's as if they had seen human houses and wanted to live like we do with their son !! Going so far as letting them play with with the human "neighbors" kids. Tho there was a problem with human mike. The young squatch dragged Mike into the woods , which triggered a search. So the sasquatch parents became much more guarded about "mike" playing with the neighbors kids . Wow !! What an amazing account !!!!

He said his friends parents caught it on nanny cam. Nanny cams came out in 1992. Security cameras existed in the 70s but it would have been an expensive high tech piece of tech to own at the time. It would have been a VCR recording system, that would be on live VCR recording to VCR tape. So he would have had to start the recording or had been recording already which seems suspect to me.
