Small Town Monsters heads to the frozen vistas of the 49th state with On the Trail of Bigfoot: Last Frontier. The first 2023 Small Town Monsters docudrama features in-depth interviews with locals and a heavy focus on the Indigenous peoples who first called the land home. Focusing on evidence and encounters with the legendary Sasquatch, On the Trail of Bigfoot: Last Frontier aims to give audiences the most cohesive look at Alaskan Sasquatch lore.
On the Trail of Bigfoot: Last Frontier was shot over several months in the Alaskan wilderness, concurrently with upcoming Small Town Monsters projects Land of the Missing and Bigfoot: Beyond the Trail: Alaskan Coastal Sasquatch, to be released later in 2023. Each production will take a different look at the lore of the monsters believed to be living in the snow, offering the most comprehensive view of the evidence.
Audio evidence presented includes eerie recordings which seem to capture a baby crying deep in the remote, coastal regions of Alaska, along with numerous howls, whoops, tree knocks, and more. The baby-crying audio is particularly unnerving as it has been referenced numerous times in Alaskan native lore as being a tactic employed by Bigfoot to lure its victims into the woods.
Alaska might not seem to be the ideal locale to search for Bigfoot. With its frigid temperatures, hard-to-navigate environments, and endless acres of wild lands, the quarry (in this case a hairy, ape-like creature) would neatly fit into the needle-in-a-haystack analogy. Yet, despite all it has going against it, Alaska does appear to be home to the hairy hominid. Hundreds of eyewitness reports, dozens of intriguing footprints, audio samples, and even video, seem to show that the creature known as Sasquatch is well at home in the land of the midnight sun.

The main topic of Sasquatch is always interesting but I also enjoy the scenery, the visuals and description of the area being discussed. Thank you for conveying the spirit of Alaska for those of us who will not likely ever see it in person.

I'm normal too but I've had 7 run in's olin sierras over 10 years, there here I'm FL too. Besides that I've seen ghosts and shadow people, UFOs and aliens walk live among us. The older you grow the more you travel and pay attention the more you learn. It's just hard to understand most humans have to see to believe it. Yet I promise it's all true. I've seriously come to accept a lot in life at this point. There's a lot of things I believe in just haven't seen them. The world is a big place. You should take these myths to be true because a lot of them are.

I agree 100% that the key to really understanding Bigfoot is in the Native American experience. Many years ago I worked with a woman of First Nation ancestry. The subject of Sasquatch once came up in conversation, and she told me that when she was a little girl, there had been a Bigfoot sighting in town near to where she lived in WA State. She was very close to her grandmother, and asked her about Sasquatch. Her grandmother told her, "O, we don't bother those people. We have lived with them a very long time. We let them be, and they let us be." I’ve never forgotten that.

Native Americans/First Nations knew them well and saw them regularly precisely for that reason - they left each other alone. They did that because they collectively and harmoniously respected Mother Earth and all her creatures. They don't harm, they don't waste; they honor and deeply appreciate. Then we came along and f'd it all up, please excuse the language. If I were a Sasquatch, I'd run as far, and hide as well as I could from us too. So do they exist? You best believe they do. But we don't deserve to know them.

I'm enjoying these videos , excellent work . I've always been fascinated by the Bigfoot legend . I live in northern California in the upper foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains and have been hearing about Bigfoot since I was a child . I've spent a lot of time in the mountains and have yet to have an encounter with Bigfoot though there have been reported sightings here . Personally I hope they never find Bigfoot . I'd like to think that it will always remain a mystery , the stuff of legend , for Bigfoot's sake and ours .

At the age of 11 or 12 on a camping trip in Zanesville Ohio at the strip mines where the campsites are we were at camp site D. Back up on and hill in the woods , me and two others went on a hike, no trail to walk on, came upon a little clearing where it was wet. To make along story short, two tracks ! Well, we went back and got our dads . Took them there and showed them, they were outdoors man for years, hunting and fishing, one was a taxidermist. My uncle had a tape Measure with him at all times, one of those type of guys, the tracks 15” long 10” wide , a right and left track, around 6’ toe to heel. We went back to camp, told to stay around camp and my uncle packed up the next morning and never went back after that.
That area has been stripped again, things are definitely different now. One day I’ll go back to see if I can find some more, that would be awesome.
I’m 60 now and I will never forget the look on my dad and uncle face when they seen the prints, priceless!

I love your videos. I'm watching this video. Someone else probably already said it, but though Anchorage is by far largest city in Alaska, it is not the Capitol. Juneau is the Capitol. They've tried to move it to Anchorage a few times for better accessibility to our government, but it is always defeated. Juneau isn't accessible by road, only boat or plane. So it's hard to get to our government face to face. Not ideal.

Another great episode yall the one I heard in iowa about 10 miles from yellow river state forest screeched at us like a chimpanzee but slightly deeper in tone and beat on its chest about 40yds away also was shaking trees and snapping branches it sounded massive and I've never been so scared the three of us backed down into a ravine close by and stood back to back with our squirrel rifles they're deffinately here in allamakee county I've heard whoops wood knocks and had rocks thrown in different areas of the county and have a friend who had one do what most closely resembles the Ohio howl and chased their canoe for a while next to the river

Bigfoot - still the reigning World Champion Of Hide And Seek . As a lifelong Alaskan I applaude the cinematography of your work and thank you for promoting our local tourism economy. I personally have never seen anything paranormal and neither have my friends or family. Obviously I don't represent every Alaskan - but I am open to new experiences. Afterall witnessing the Northern Lights can feel almost paranormal. I'm sure it's been commented on here - but Anchorage is not the capitol city - Juneau is.
Edit: I am not sure if this counts as parnormal but a few years back I heard strange sounds coming from the sky - to me it sounded like metal scraping the bottom of a swimming pool - being dragged across it. The strange part is that it could be heard all over the city - from Upper Hillside to Government Hill - researchers have yet to determine what that sound was. Here is a video to the sound ua-cam.com/video/-zhdlO35LqA/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Tukker_Barnes

This species isn't paranormal or supernatural so you need to drop that attitude and point of view. Not sure where your getting that idea but if you actually researched this topic off youtube and read older books by OG researchers you'd understand that. Coming in to the topic with a preconceived notion that these beings are supernatural is automatically going to make you highly skeptical and thinking they don't exist.

@@unropednope4644That was a very emotional response, are you okay? Ironically, a large chunk of "Bigfoot" lore and stories are firmly wrapped in a clearly paranormal slant. Many modern "Bigfoot researchers" choose to avoid any paranormal phenomena because they feel that Bigfoot as a biological being is more believable. Well, none of it is believable at this point, but I'd give the "paranormal" angle a little more credence, though I don't particularly believe in the paranormal. There's absolutely no credible evidence for a species of unknown hominid living anywhere on earth. If you disagree with this fairly accurate information, you either do not understand what evidence science needs, or you simply do not understand how science itself operates. With each passing year, the idea of there being a species of unknown hominid living alongside us becomes more and more ridiculous.
But you're entitled to believe whatever you like. 🤷

@@unropednope4644 Jesus Christ! How about you relax a little. Oh and also admit you and your hot little head with its own rancid little attitude can't say for absolute certainty that it's not paranormal.. but one thing Sabe absolutely IS, is super-natural.
      Wind your neck in.

@unropednope4644 How rude of you to put someone down like that while they are sharing an unnatural encounter they've had! They obviously felt compelled to share something they experienced in the same area this has been filmed! You've made yourself look like a right jerk. You are what gives the Bigfoot community a bad name, instead of respectfully educating someone you shot them down! Because I'm sure you know all the facts? Right?

What a sweet old lady @33:32 in Australia they have been described exactly as what she had seen of its features red eyes sometimes yellow, skin was the same as she described weathering of it,and I think she was also describing the hair around it's eyes, one of our witnesses described the hair around the eyes being similar a Shitsu orangey,I think it's from the tears that causes that. We've had a witness report at a water fall in New South Wales Australia where a single mother took her young daughter and her friend and young son,in Spring time it was a hot day,the kids went for a swim, and the lady and the kids described hearing the sound of a young child crying, and the mother was concerned that a child had been lost,as when they arrived at the car park they saw an abandoned car, with everthing strewn all over the floor, then the crying stopped, and all of a sudden there was this almighty raw and growl, and she saw a large tree snap at it top part, and she said the sound just reverberated around the walls of the water fall, she paniced grabbed the kids and ran for the car.
