Thanks Joe. I don’t usually post how to videos because there are people out there already doing it, better than I could. But I was on a local Facebook VW group and half the people there had no idea how to change the coil. I figured I’d post the video and just point people to it if they ask
Yes its as easy as you demonstrated. I bet the shop labour for replacing the coil is about the cost of all the tools you used so diy and get free tools for the next repair. 👍
Probably an hour labour (which is $200/hr at a VW shop) and the coil from VW is $365. I’m all for buying the tools and doing it myself, rather than paying someone else
That’s exactly what this was doing. It ran fine until it didn’t, for no discernible reason. Replaced the plugs and plug wires as they were ancient anyway. I hoped that would do it, but I kinda knew it was the coil. So far it hasn’t misfired since I swapped the coil.
Fahrfegnughen《☆》Nice work Brother👍🔥I don't own a Cordless ratchet yet. Maybe technology will advance to shrink them down some more before I buy one. It's easier to change sparkplugs on my Hayabusa😁Question..Why didn't UA-cam shove any Ads down my throat while watching your 26:+change video ?🖖😎☮

You’re welcome! Glad it helped
Great to have the proper tools for the job. Nice video to explain how to trouble shout.
Thanks Nick!

A job well done. 🙂👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Ian
Good Repair definitely sounds like the misfire is gone
Yep, it’s been running perfectly
Running good had to replace the coil pack on my wife car a couple years ago it would start missing then it would run well.

I was late to join the cordless ratchet gang, but I love it. Weird that you didn’t see any ads. Are you using Firefox as a browser?
