did that man ask the woman before going to touch and playing with the pita ... that was disrespectful. how old you are ...
Man keep these type of videos going. The world needs to see that there are HUMANS living in Israel and Jews have come from all over to create a vibrant culture that links the middle-east, europe, and north africa. If Palestinians can lay claim to standard middle-eastern arab foods then why can't Jews? Especially considering that its legit fusion.
Amen couldn't have said it better
Middle Eastern Jewish food like Hameen stew dates back to ancient Judah/Israel.
Jachnun which is from Yemenite Jews dates back to ancient Israel and the recipe of how it is made is in the Talmud.
Many North African foods were started by Jews centuries ago such as 'Brik' in Tunisia and the fish dish 'Kraimeh' in Libya. These are dishes that were started by Jews. Arabs and Amazigh (Berbers) in those countries are aware of this.
Most foods in the middle east were influenced by Arabs, Turks, Jews, Assyrians, etc...
Most Palestinian Arabs, Jordanians and Syrians often use the words 'Arab cuisine' to describe foods that are middle Eastern but not actually just 'Arab'.
'Baklava' is originally from the Turks. Named after a place in Turkey.
'Knafeh' is not originally introduced by the Arabs.
Knafeh is originally from the bene Israel (children of Israel) in Shechem(in Hebrew)/Nablus(in Arabic). They are known in English as Samaritans.
Because Samaritans are Israelites who never left ancient Israel and Arabs came to live near them for so long the Palestinian Arabs and Syrian Arabs now consider 'Knafeh' Arab when it is actually from the children of Israel (Samaritans near Mount Gerizim).
Yes, making people smile is a mitzvah, just like feeding the hungry. Hospitality is something widespread throughout the entire Middle East, 🇬🇷 Greece, Turkey and Morocco. It is a tradition from the time of Abraham.
And where do the dolmas come from? And my family used to call the “sarmathas”, and there are different variations. Some are only filled with rice, and some are filled with a mixture of ground beef, onions, and rice.
אני אוהבת! תודה!
So great to see the energy of my old neighbourhood, i miss it! New subscriber!

lol :) Soviet Israeli Jew here: in Moldova we made grape leaves stuffed with rice too, but our stuffing includes meat, not just rice :) it’s grape leaves stuffed with meat and rice :) so it’s basari, not parve :)

Makes me hungry I live in a country whose cuisine immigrants brought here as well although if you look at cuisines across the world there really is no whole indigenous cuisine even marzipan that is eaten in Northern Europe was brought there from Anatolia by Vikings

Oh yeah
Hiya Tal and Phillip.
This made me feel so hungry. LOL.
Thank you for sharing.
Wishing you a lovely week
Same to you!
Thank you@@TheTravelingClatt
We love the Palestinian, Druze, Lebanese, Yemen food, it is simply so delicious and healthy, we haven't stolen Palestinian food, we simply do enjoy it a lot. On Saturdays, lots of Israeli's go to Abu Gosh and Nazareth and Osofia to get the best Arabic food in Israel. In Ra'at you find great Bedouin restaurants serving local original food.

I agree, our humus and falafel and pita is unbeatable 😋
Keep showing the beautiful land of Israel! And Dor is great, love his food!
Dor is an absolute boss!
land of israel? since when israel have a land?
it’s similar to Filipino food which is a combination of western (Spanish) and asian (Chinese) food.
We need translation of the lovely people speaking to eachother in Hebrew and Arabic, if this is to be good explanations
The Moroccan Jews have some traditional dishes that the Arab Moroccans really loved.
I was getting mad at the title thinking it was some sort of palestinian propaganda but I ended up enjoying this video ! good work!
Says the people who literally spend 10b a year on hasbara LoL
You know what is also so mind-blowing and maddening? You're a descendent of Iraqi and Turkish Jews, Phillipe descends from Egyptian Jews, and (I didn't quite catch his name) Doa? from Yemeni heritage, G'varet? descends from Morrocans? AND ALL THE KNOW-NOTHIING WHITE PEOPLE IN EUROPE AND THE US SAY ISRAEL IS A WHITE SUPREMACIST COUNTRY?!!!! Actually. 🤔 All the black people and their pastors are saying there same thing here. It's galling and makes my head explode! None of them know there are more descendants from Arab countries than Europeans countries!
Oh. You said it. I should've just waited.
Hahahha, appreciate you reinvigorating the point tho my friend
@@TheTravelingClattMy pleasure! I say it wherever I'm able. 😊
And if I ever make it to Israel, I want go to the "food court" 😂😂 in Tel Aviv with you both! 🤗

Great vid as always man
Thanks you brother
LOVED THIS VIDEO! I'm actually in the process of getting approved to see Israel for the 1st time in May on a birthright trip. You're videos have been one of the big reasons for me to want to visit sooner rather than later, and watching you has reminded me that even if I don't agree with everything Israel does, I (American Jew) can and should still be proud of my Jewish background and be grateful for what Israel did for our people. Can't wait for May. Thank you and love your videos and you long time!
Appreciate you! Hope you make it to Israel this summer and have the time of your life friend!
I hope you have a very good time ❤ i wanna visit Israel one day x

Edit it's nice to see Philippe again too, I remember him from your older videos.
Edit take two: haha I absolutely loved the outro! Thank you. That message is well needed.
palestinian channel "uncivilized" made a video claiming israeli food is just palestinian knockoffs, glad you showed the real Israel. Too much misinformation going on.
I was inspired by his amazing content
@@TheTravelingClatt haha nice
Just like Chef Phillip is an aqua man knock-off 😂
Facts are facts your dna is not local facts
There is one fact. Islamic faith is 95% of the time NOT THE VICTIM BUT IS INSTEAD THE OPPRESSOR.
Isreali's love arabic food. Just like americans love mexican food.
No they STOLE IT
Loving the Israel content Habibi. I honestly think that Arabs hating on Jews has little to do with Palestine. They just either despise Jews for religious reasons or are jealous of how modern and progressive Israel is. Most of them use Palestine as an excuse for their antisemitism, yet they couldn’t care less about the Palestinians. I grew up in Iraq and I know that Palestinians are treated as second class citizens in Iraq and in other Arab countries. Am yisrael chai
You grew up in Iraq? That sound so fascinating! Mind reaching out so I can learn more about your history?
@@TheTravelingClatt yep born in Basra but lived in Baghdad till I was 13 and then moved abroad with my family to flee the chaos of the sectarian war. Sure, I’ll send you a dm on Instagram.

Hashem bless you keep these videos and truth coming 🇮🇱
Remember we came before Arabs and Muslims so what were we eating? We always ate middle eastern food bc that’s what was available in the region before Islam was even a religion
@@ashleyberardi1139 I hear you, but there is evidence for the existence of Arab people going back thousands of years (in Akkadian inscriptions, the Tanakh itself). There is also the caveat that many 'Arabs' in the Arab world are actually Arabized locals.
This looks so good~
Note to self: Don't watch food channel if your lunch break is still a few hours away.

Israeli Middle Eastern food is the best 😋 🙏🙏🙏❤️🇮🇱
This is genuine fusion food. Ive learnt so much from this video through the cuisne and foods. One thing remains is that God loves Israel it is evident!
After watching still don't know what Israeli food is. There is a food but they probably don't make it other then at home
I am thoroughly enjoying your videos. I am in Australia. My daughter married an Assryian (father from Iraq and mother from Lebanon), Love their foord. She is now married to a Lebanese. Again I love the food. I knew some of the food that you showed. I can still remember my first Kebab and that was back in 1980 and the veg market. I was in love after the first mouth full. Still have when i go out.
Wow... sana ol... nyahahaha... kumusta... regards me to all the people there.
Heck yeah
DOES THE DRUZE pita/labneh stand have a name???? It looks GREAT!
I love the food in Israel..I feel hungry watching you guys eat the local food 😋
Dude, a video you did a few years ago, walking along the tayelet meant so much to me when I was away from Israel. Now I am back and I walk now there, and think about that video that brought tears to my eyes and turn nostalgia to present. Thanks. I am in Tel Aviv and would love to bump into you.
Make sure you say hi, we'll share a big brotherly hug
I'm over here salivating Tal...lol.. Good to see Philip again..he's a pretty cool character! Keep the videos coming...
do Israel vs Narnia next...will be more realistic!
Memulaim - that's "stuffed"😂. Israelis that visit Morocco are surprised that their food isn't quite like the Jewish Moroccan we know in Israel? The Jewish version is more spicy apparently.
Hey Tal, what is your opinion on Maza Ball Soup?
My bubba from kiyev ukraine who immigrated to USA in the 1900s always made shakshuka, stuffed grape leaves (but she used kasha instead of rice), and some kind of stuffed kinish but it was more mediterranean than the traditional eastern European style... I always figured it was just good traditional food and never thought that it was old Mediterranean recipes which her mother or grandmother had which the people in the shtetle had been passing down... I know that many of these people had ancestors who went to Austrian empire from Turkey, Balkins, Italy and Mediterranean countries.
Best looking Mallauach
Incredible mallauach, too bad it was stolen by Israelis....
Good points made here. Like New York Pizza is not Italian Pizza. Pizza may be Italian but NY Pizza is NY pizza. Chicago deep pan pizza is it's own dish.
Same for Israeli falafel, Shakshuka, etc... it is Israeli. May be based on a dish from another culture, but it is it's own dish.
G-D bless Israel ❤
❤ Love you guys long time! ❤
Love watching your content…shuch hacarmel is closed to my heart. Soon I’ll be back for a visit.

Kazakhstan is going to say yall stole from them too with all the "awwhaweewhaa" Borat stuff, lol
Jewish food is Gefilte Fish, chopped liver, latkes, matzah ball soup, tcholent,
israeli food is Jerusalem mixed grill
Falafel in Israel tastes amazing. Shawarma in Israel amazing. Shakshuka in Israel amazing. I’m sure they took the recipe from somewhere. I would never visit any other country in Middle East other than Israel. Middle East is just not safe.
This video is making me hungry. 🤤 the food looks absolutely delicious!🤤

As for the Israeli food, is what I've learned from when, i've immigrated to Israel in 1981 18:33 .
This video was excellent love to see food tours, such a beautiful mix of salad, the Jewish diaspora. God Bless.
Just got back from Tel Aviv. The food scene is superbe. Nobody stole anything. Jews lived in "Palestine" for millenia and their food is very similar.

Lots of arab israeli inside israel that is why you can still eat arab food inside israel. Even some egyptian chefs work in israel too to make felafel.❤❤❤
Hi all, I am English non Jewish guy. I went to Tel Aviv a few years ago for a holiday. Two thirds of Israelis are Mizrahi, Yeminites, and Sephardic, (grand parents from Iraq, Yemen, North Africa, Egypt, etc). Hence, they eat mostly Middle Eastern food.
None of it is Israeli good, they all have their countries of origins that need to be acknowledged.
תודה ☺️
Moral of this story... Don't start a war if you can't accept the consequences !!! 😮
Don’t steal land, kill people, lie and smear propaganda around the world unless you want to get hated internationally cut off financially. We (the US) are tired of paying for your wars and slaughtering of children and the innocent.

Gosh I love Israelis ❤ . Thank you for this
So Israeli cuisine is amalgamation of Ashkenazi (Eastern and Western European), Mizrahi (North African and West Asian) and Sephardi (Southern European especially Iberian - Portuguese and Spainish) foodways?.
And palestinian, lebanese, syrian, too.
What kind of American food is in Israel? I imagine its pancakes, sausage and maple syrup. Also Hamburgers, french Fries and hot dogs. Also we have BBQ and Pastrami . America also is a melting pot of ethnicity cultures without the threat of being kicked out of the country. Although with the illegal flow of invading aliens that may change in the coming year. At least socialism is still at bay, hope Donald Trump secures our county by years end. As an American Jew some food items which came via Europe influence is Stuffed Cabbage, Kugella, fruit and cheese stuffed blintzes, Rugalla, my grandmother use to make a homemade sour cream cheese or cottage cheese called Smetana. she would put the mixture in porous cloth and let it drain overnight which would solidity it. I use to enjoy the onion board, a kind of flatbread loaded with cooked onions. My father would bring it home to NJ from the NY bakery after visiting his parents in the Bronx. He also use to pick up real Jewish Rye Bread, crispy crust and soft inside. The best,,,,,,,,,,, I would put butter on it or toast it with butter.
Kosher McDonald’s in Israel 🇮🇱
