    In our company we write something called Acceptance criteria, which is basically expected outcome but not as specific so for the login case it would be something like:
    User is able to login using Google
    Must include a way to restore password
    This helps with clarifying the issue, without limiting creativity, personally helped a lot

    Hi! Super insightful, thanks. :) My team is having trouble with organizing Jira properly and it’s causing a lot of issues. In your experience, shouldn’t the Product Owner be the one to come up with a plan for writing better tickets?

    • @KillForDiamonds
      @KillForDiamonds 2 роки тому

      In agile theory, yes, along with scrum master, but practically the whole team needs to be involved, since the product owner is not the one who will be working on the issue

    • @charlicheung
      @charlicheung  2 роки тому

      yup exactly. That was the meeting in the afternoon where we all talked about how we (BA, Dev, UX, etc.) envisioned tickets to be written

    The “is what it is” take you had at the end blows my mind and frustrates me as well. I never understand how you can design a product by just assuming what the users problems are.
    As someone who is new to the tech industry as a dev, I was very surprised to see this as the norm. At least so far in my career. Maybe a pivot to UX similar to your story is in my future… love your channel!
