You are such an inspiration Charli! I recently started as a UX designer for a company I have been a frontend developer for earlier, so this journey have just begun, and I'm sure I will get lost sometimes. But as you have said in previous videos I also think one of my main strength is about the developer kind of view, and in my case also the knowledge of the company already. I have just watched some of your videos and stumbled across the video where you talked about why you were quitting your senior UX design role, this made me so happy though you will still be a huge inspiration in my UX role. In the longterm I can see myself as a project lead or product owner in some kind of ways, so it's nice to see more people out there in the world making a similair career as i want to make. Thank you for well explained content and well produced videos, you are doing so much for so many people! 🤗❣
Hey Charli!!! I'm a junior strategy manager in a bank in El Salvador (hope you know where my country is located LOL), with the recent company restructuring we went thru, I got in charge of the innovation process of the whole company, this was a new thing to me and I didn't know where to start, since my background is in financial engineering, I got to say that ur videos really saved my ass, they have been very informative and gave me an excellent start point for improving my research and trying new things in my job! I've been working on innovation based on the UX principles and it has been fenomenal! Thank you so much Charli!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼
Amazing video! Would be nice to know more about your chair! at the moment im looking to buy... and the market is too broad and hard to choose. thank you so much!
I loved your content! 🤗 Do you think a UX designer makes the work of a business consultant/analyst as well? Does a UX designer have to have great organizational and analytical skills and do you have to transform client's ideas to digital/technical solutions? I'd love to become a UI designer but my skills are more into the artistic side (visual thinking, storytelling) and not so much problem-solving, analytical and organizational.

Hi, i'm a Big FAN of you from Thailand ♥
Very helpful vid!
Hi Charli you seen ux designers using microsoft surface laptops
lol me! I had a surface book for the first two years of my UX career ^^ switched when companies started automatically giving me macbooks haha
Did you say fired for the day?
Just curious why not use rem for everything in a responsive design? I'm always confused about when to use rem, em, and pixels..
It mostly came down to developer preference :)
tandem is basically discord lol
I've been loving notion, but seems like everyone is a notion hater :(
I have a ROG gaming laptop that I got (before I built my tower lol) so it's pretty good. Do you think it would be sufficient instead of the MacBook?
absolutely!
Is your MacBook Pro 14” a base model?
It's the one with 10-Core CPU, 16-Core GPU, 16GB Unified Memory, 1TB SSD Storage¹ :)
@@charlicheung great, I just bought the base model, do you think is good enough for my first UX UI job?
You shouldn’t have any problems with a base model :)
