I just use a Honda 2000 generator on eco mode to run heating blankets. Generator will run for 12 hours in one gallon of gas in eco mode.
I don’t know much about the generators, but I understand that in some areas, like provincial parks, that they aren’t permitted after a certain hour?
@@CheaperJeeperTV the Honda generators on Eco mode are very quiet, but I understand. I actually didn’t think about that, but I usually camp way off the grid. Thanks for the information on the diesel heaters.
That does work but only for blankets and lights definitely not enough energy from a gen to heat a large space.
And for only $100 you get a heater and don't have to wear out a generator I gues
Dino, First - thanks for all you do. Second, best holiday greetings from south-of-the-border. Third, not freezing while winter camping is my preference - any means anyone uses successfully is the BEST WAY. (IMHO)
You are welcome and seasons greetings to you as well. Cheers.
Merry Christmas Dino! 🎉
Same to you! Thank you.
Cheers.
Great video’s keep up the great work. All the info is much appreciated!
Thanks for the feedback. It is very. much appreciated.
More videos to come for sure.
Thanks.
Cheers.
Thanks Deano!…I purchased the box shaped one, waiting for the 90 elbows from Amazon to get here going jeep camping in Arkansas soon . Peace amigo
Awesome!!! I now have my 90 elbow and it looks great. I didn’t use the 90 on my other one but this 90 will sure make using the heater much easier. Enjoy your camping. Cheers.
We are feeling Warmer already!
Awesome. I should look into how we can roast chestnuts with these things. Cheers.
Good stuff!
Thanks Randy.
Cheers.
On your toolbox version, there is a tiny hole drilled on your gas tank lid.
These don’t have that, and when running over night, your tank will cave in due to suction. You can avoid this by drilling that hole into this cap, or slightly open the lid for airflow.
Hey Johnny, I bought the Vevor 8 kW low center of gravity version, back at the end of November. It did come with a vented, fuel cap.😊
Hey Johnny,
I checked. Mine are vented.
Cheers.
A nice warming video for the Christmas season😊 I recently picked up the Vevor, low center of gravity version. The exhaust hose supplied is capable of being bent 90°, with a radius, matching those pre-bent 90 sections you mentioned, with a bit of patience and care. It would not surprise me if some of the other similar heater brands came with hoses that would rather break than be bent into a tight 90°.
Folks using the heater for camping, definitely want to consider what that exhaust pipe comes in contact with, as it gets hot enough to melt through some materials.
Good points. Thanks.
I was looking for the window vent video that you use to run the hose

@cheaperjeepertv can you have these inside your vehicle? is there another video to watch that can show install. I would like to not have it sitting outside. iff possible
It is possible, but you MUST vent the combustion intake and exhaust properly , and safely.
Here is a link to people who installed on in their Jeep. ua-cam.com/video/RPe0Pgcvt_o/v-deo.htmlsi=eQ3Eho9--1SKPhHH
Buy em while they are cheap! They will spike up soon
