Only mirroring. I went to Windows settings and it is not detecting it as a monitor so you can switch it.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I was thinking of buying a portable monitor to pair up with my ultrawide but this saved me money since I already have an iPad Air! The only thing I noticed is that the cursor is really slow but watching videos is fine.
I was thinking the same. Another monitor to watch videos while i do my work on my laptop screen. Then, and idk why i didnt just think of this to begin with. I realized i could just watch whatever video i was wanting to watch on my ipad. I feel stupid for not just yk doing that instead of looking for this video💀
@@kyiwisher2083 so I ended up getting a portable display anyways. The app is really laggy with the mouse and windows movements and videos kept freezing too on the iPad if I’m playing games on my ultrawide. It was a good short term solution but I couldn’t deal with the sluggers anymore.

does the pencil work well for instance if I open Photoshop to draw something?

when i turn on mirror mode and open the app it works fine, but as soon as i turn it off while the ipad is connected it will shows the 2nd screen for a split second, after which the app will close on its own. i can only open it afterwards while the ipad isnt connected, until i have turned mirror mode back on. do you know how to fix it so i can use it as a second screen?
I had it working with Windows 10. Now with windows 11 I can only have the full screen on the ipad. It's not allowing me to move certain items to it. The iPad is old. It is Gen 1 I think. So maybe that is it. It can only work with windows 10 and not 11? I hit the windows logo along with letter p and hit extend, but it keeps going back to pc screen only

Thank you. I just did it.. first I installed Splashtop with green icon and it just connected laptop with iPad to enter iPad's photos, but Splashtop agent with blue icon made it iPad as extended display.

I have the same issue, can this be fixed? I chose extend option on my computer but when i do that, i click on ipad, it does not do anything but opens everything on my laptop..

On Windows device, right click on desktop. Go to Display Settings. Scroll Down to the Multiple displays area and select r Extend these displays. Now it is in 'Duplicate these displays' mode and hence mirroring.

I think you need to install iTunes before if you own an old iPad....I have read that in other YT comments...but he don't mention this..

Hi! I downloaded the application for iPad, and for laptop. But when i plugged the two things, it was not happen anything. The plug request on the iPad app it is still there and the display does not appear on the tablet. But I i did everything what you said. Have you got any idea, why happened this?

I wish it worked, program recognize the ipad and closes automatically, I just get a glimpse of my windows on my ipad, when I try to reopen the program it doesn't run anymore. I have to restart and try again with same result

My windows 11 can't find it as a second monitor - i can only mirror my monitor but i don't know how to extend it for two. Unfortunatlly in settings i can not change that :(. Can sombody help my with this essue?

Hi. Quick question. I have a display port. if i do a converter from D port cable to ipad USB C, will it still work?
DIsplayport won't enable data transfer, which is what is needed in this case. So no. We don't think this would be the way to go.

Apple has the connector to USB C. there’s a media HDMI cable connector that you may use also
