Hi, Do you know if I can use any of these app to mirror MacBook Pro screen to Android (Samsung) Tablet. Please let me know. I want it for teleprompter, I don't have iPad, I only have MacBook Pro and android tablet. Please advise
Just downloaded Super Display App for my Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and S6 lite, Works like a charm even on my 2016 HP Desktop (4 core, 6th gen i5), Works like a charm.
While I'm planning on getting DuperDisplay for Windows to Android, SpaceDesk is another option. Heard it was laggy over wireless, but lag is minimized over USB, also you have to enable tethering in your Android device to use it.
I'm using SuperDisplay and I can use up to 120Hz on my Xiaomi Pad 5. It's not smooth all the time, but good enough to work with. I have also tried no less than 4 apps and by far SuperDisplay is the best solution for Android + Windows combo setup. Duet is just too laggy and unreliable; not to mention it heats my laptop up so badly.
You were able to achieve that only because you had a monitor which was capable of outputting more resolution than the client display , For me i just bought OnePlus pad with 2000x2800 display and my monitor is 1080p 75hz so no matter what app i use , i cannot send more than 2800x 2800 at 60hz no matter what I do i cannot make my refresh rate go above 60hz defeating the purpose of an excellent refresh rate of OnePlus pad display
duet was really good since last year update- 2 things I found it done much better than Sidecar: 1/ Touchbar work perfectly - not like Sidecar buggy one. 2/You can use it in portrait mode and it auto rotate.
Samsung Dex has a Windows app to display Dex session through USB on a PC. That would count as an Android displaying on PC situation I think? Can't really think of any use for that though. Free version of fresco would probably better than most paid apps on Android
On Android far the best is Concepts. Its vector art is fantastic. The Concept ipad version has more features but the Android version is excellent enough.
I use superdisplay on s7+ through thunderbolt with 120hz on windows, it feels as writing on a samsung native application it is very smooth. Superdisplay cable option with a cheap lifetime license nothing has come close yet in terms of performance and features.
