Great to see him win all that money, but holy crap was he running hot this game. And his opponents are playing way too loose like they normally do at the lodge. Plus that flopping boat vs a nut flush cooler hand too.... This is what a dream game looks like. Edit: Kudos to Action Dan on betting 83K on the river to make it look very bluffy after he's had great hands all day. Makes it more likely Taras would call after thinking how often can this guy really have everyone beat again. Taras folded with only 2 pair but it was still a well executed bet and would probably have gotten max value if Taras had trips.
The fact that Taras folded that two pair hand shows how much he has improved. The Taras of old would have been close to snap calling or raising on the turn
No, that's just Airball's dull personality. Table talk on the side with actual funny people like Gus Hansen, Negreanu, Esfandiari, Sammy Farha etc. is actually entertaining
@@crannogman6289very true. Doctors have a rougher time than if old. It's not something you go into for the money. The amount of preparation, work and pressure is too much for most. Action Dan is one of the more highly skilled poker plays playing high stakes right now and my new favorite player to watch. Hyper aggressive and also knows when to let one go. If he runs hot like he did in this stream he’s going to kill the table, everyone has to keep him honest and pay it off
Styles like action Dan’s can easily chip up quick bc most ppl are willing to call with a pair against this guy. He played the boat really well. I like his style very difficult to play against him. I’ve seen him check raise with nothing. He mixes in everything really well. He doesn’t have much tells its all so random.
Can you imagine a 200/400 game with Action Dan, Taras, Garret, Andy Stacks, Santosh, Luda Chris, Texas Mike, Mariano, and Nik Airball (as the villain of course). That would be epic.
Action Dan has watched these guys play- he knows that they are so used to bluffing each other, that they can't believe it when a guy has obviously flopped the nuts.
He was hit in the face by the deck, and the other players money. Any decent pro would've had his run. Edit: I stand corrected. Some pros might miss out on that A2 induce raise. Maybe they add a bit of money onto that raise and don't get the guy to spazz. But what do I know, I don't play Holdem.
might be a dumb question but how does the stream graphic show everyone's hand in real time? i've never been able to see a camera on the rim of the table behind the card box thing
This is what running good looks like.. it's not just making hands. It's also your opponents have a hand slightly worse than you or having them bluff at the wrong times.
Jeez, air ball does not STFU, even in tough river moments between two players and he’s not in the hand he’s talking like there’s not even a game going on🤦♀️
Watch Airball shy away from the Robbie scandal convo with Doug around the 22:45 mark because A) he knows she cheated and B) he knows Doug knows she cheated
Action Dan played these hands perfectly, although it obviously helps when he was running like God all night. He showed his skill by capitalising on his luck though. A lot of players would have failed to win the maximum in those spots.
I really like Hook and was glad to see him back on the stream I just hope this didn't felt him for good. He got rocked. But nearly folding the nut flush was amazing. I think 99% of players are losing their stack there.
@11:40 Taras doesn't realize he just got lucky in crypto and didn't get to where he is in life through skill. For the average person, being a doctor (or just getting a college degree in STEM) is an incredible safety ladder for upward social mobility. You might have lucked out being an an incredible athlete or a movie star, but your kid(s) would be unlikely to repeat the same success in those niche professions.
and if he was smart he would bounce right outta there. remeber that dude alex alwas wore a black adidas top with white stripes? He lost it all is has now gone back to dealing.......
The doctor talk from Taras was actually legit. You work insanely hard for the majority of your young adult years, and when you're finally done, you're 30 to 35 and burdened with a lot of debt from tuition being anywhere from 80 to 100k a year with private medical schools. You get paid well, yes, but it's peanuts compared to some people who do investment banking or businesses. Also since you're only making money from so late in your life, you're going to be behind a lot of your friends in terms of stability within your personal life. Only people who are uninformed go into medical school for the money. You really have to go in for passion, otherwise you might as well get another job with a fourth of the time invested that pays about the same.

Is it Cartel Money?
Amen 🙏🏼
specially for his opponents
in this video, Airball's VPIP is 0% but his yapping is 100%.
I wish he would stop talking
He talks soooooooo much
He made 75k tho I can agree but no hate on his game
He’s running out of money that’s why action Dan is gonna take his place

VPIP - 0%
YPIN - 100%

Debatable, still has his 0% equity all ins in his arsenal
Came here to say the same thing. He still is loose at times, but he’s definitely improved.
He would have pushed on the turn. Excellent play by Taras.
Tesla is coming over the top 🤣
Kinda helped that Action Dan just been showing the nuts all night like 3/4 times
I never realized how much I didn't care about what the other players were talking about before watching this video.

Action Dan may be new to the Lodge but he’s been a regular at the Hustler for a while now.

Yeah generally players are respectful when a big pot is going down and keep the chatter to a minimum.

Nice to have a bit of a longer length video, much preferred over the 8-11 minute ones
Action Dan is like the anti-Rampage
Hahaha yes

The snap call there with top pair was hilarious.

Does Taras have a good call candidate at the end? Unblocking all flopped backdoor flush draws but also blocking pair plus straight draw bluffs?
Hook is hook on a auto call if he had a hand which most of the time is second best hand.

Taras has sooo many physical cues. Touch his left shoulder he knows he's beat but calls.
