Great Video man, one question, is this method valid for smaller caps where there may be less hedge funds, banks, big finance, etc? need some serious help.
Your problem could be that your stop loss is way too close or you're watching your trades too much. Place it and walk away. Or you could just give up, trading isn't for everyone.
What you should do is first, identify the sectors or asset that are performing best in the current market and only trade within those sectors or asset classes. For example, if real estate or energy is currently performing best, trade something within those areas that meets your specific trading criteria/edge. Avoid everything else.
Well in the end it comes down to experience, you can keep trying different things until you fine the one that works or you can find someone to guide you.
What you need Thomas is enlightenment, read more books on the subject, Have you heard of the Pip quotient formula? reading this strategy book for example is all you need trust me.

Love this strategy I also use it. I draw support and resistance on 4hr time frames, and I enter on smaller time frames. Thanks for your videos they give me confidence when trading.

Trading this way is how I finally managed to become profitable! I would normally put my stop above or below the engulfing candle or wick of the pin bar though rather than bother with the ATR but I’ll definitely look at that!

Hey Andrew, thank you for being honest enough to put a figure on your early years losses when you switched from the pits to the screens. Im a long time watcher of your videos and I remember you saying you had "lost a bit of money" at the beginning in other videos .. but never put a figure to it. £150K is a lot of wedge. I use similar strat but my entries are based on Fibs, then my SL and TP don't use ATR. Also I use 1D and 1W to see the bias. Got 1:4RR recently. 4H TF is good for people who has day jobs.
Do you use your own variation of SL & TP?

Please recommend one best prop firm you would deal with now & WHY. In traders Prop Accounts is Hedging Allowed(firm names)? Also For Hedged positions Is any margin required after hedging is completed? For open hedged positions carried overnight how is daily loss limit calculated next day of trading?.

I would usually wait for the resistantce to be breached far, then enter after all those stop loses are taken out but same entry point in your strategy.

Sir, Trading with supply & demand method on 4 H charts, is it better that the area have additional confirmation with MTF fractals. Even if S/D area gets respected OR rejected, market can still whip saw in the area & trader can still lose. Do you recommend sticking with 4H,/Daily chart S/D levels for trend direction OR is that not necessary. Market makers in forex also play their liquidity harvesting to pick pockets around these levels. We need your wisdom.Thanks.

VITAL QUESTION IS--If trader was trading forex pair to hold for average duration of 3--5 days what time frame should be used for TREND DIRECTION?--IS IT 4 H CHART? Traders biggest enemy is trend flipping on A dime(e.g. 1H/lower times frame trend).Trend on 4H chart may be the best trend guide for majority of forex traders.. By the time trader confirms that trend on daily chart is up, market has already gone up about 5-7 days & if you ask supercomputer for the mathematical odds, computer tells you that odds are negative right from the start.Trend based on the last 10--15,four H candles has enough big players/juice/force behind it so that it would not flip on A dime, so trader has decent chance to make something without buying overpriced asset to lose again. Your wisdom/expariences please.?

Sir,Do you use or recommend auto support/resistance indicators & if so what time frame S/R levels to execute intraday orders in forex. For What time frames S/R--I would think it should be 1H or 4H time frame S/R. One hour is short enough but still meaning full enough--and it it better to use 15 minute chart to watch how price reacts at A given S/R level ?. Sir,Thank you .

Near the end of the video you drew the support and resistance lines on March18th. Then said look there was an entry on Feb 21st and an entry on March 14th. So you drew the lines where the bounce had already taken place. I also can tell you tomorrow what happened yesterday.

Hi @ all, can some one explain why entering the trade with a 5pips distance to the closing candle, why not directly after the closing of the engulfin ore pin bar candle?

Leave it open until it goes the other way.

I don't trade with a stop loss, I stopped doing that after losses that weren't really required to take; I now manage out of a trade with hedging and my automated system.
