I like the retro camera and editing style of overlapping views.

love brad ,genius musician great pianist etc ,but ,,,,what happened ?? this is so CONSERVATIVE !!very retro bebop oriented ,,what happened to that dynamic smoking band that recorded THE ART OF THE TRIO at the village vanguard ?? i dont understand ,its good solid standard jazz trio music ,,maybe its me ,,,but i miss the other earlier brad who just created this incredible passionate body of trio music ,, with respect and love

To me it sounds like the Art of the Trio stuff but more refined and mature. Music doesn't always have to be aggressively progressive.

@@PieInTheSky9 I think Brad's playing has become much more refined and sublimated into a realm of highly controlled notes. If his performance during the Art of Trio period was a garden full of fresh ideas and outrageous vitality, he seems to be becoming a clear lake that reflects himself.

Everything comes from bebop with Brad : a very extended technics beside early bebop but bebop and nothing else + Bach (counterpoint) and Beethoven (piano writing and form)
