Wow! I've never heard the clarinettist before, he is just a WONDERFUL player. Lovely to hear Brad in a quartet setting and with Jorge. Thanks for posting this. God bless.
OMG, is this ever wonderful. Am I the only one who when listening to Brad Mehldau wonders why I ever look elsewhere for modern jazz to listen to? It's all here, no need to search.
Brad & Rossy again feels so good !!!! Legendary combo making history again. I've dreamt of it ! Rossy, what a sound, what a vision, what an orchestration. Stoked !!
Yes, relatively rare to hear clarinet outside 'early jazz', NOLA or klezmer settings. The most interesting ones I have ssen in 'recent' times is in vgm (video games music) jazz - The Consouls for Celes' Theme ua-cam.com/video/c-y5pfccQzw/v-deo.html and J-Music Ensemble for Corridors of Time ua-cam.com/video/yv8wb9t0lM0/v-deo.html
I know they have to make money, but the ads ruin this brilliant performance. I mean, c'mon, there are breaks between the songs with no ads but then boom, an ad right in the middle of a song.

Wonderful Mehldau - I especially liked 1:01:27 Gentle John. Great ensemble here, everyone masterful, Joris Roelofs my favorite this time 'round!
This music makes me smile. Many times. & love that this is recorded without a live audience.
Happening. Liked Skippy a lot! Thank you ALL!
Mr. Mehldau, the style he plays between classical and modern jazz.
Thanks to Brad for your music!
Fantastic band sound! Wonderful compositions. Enjoying it very much.
I love Resignation song, they bring me back to century 18, 19.
Thanks Mr. Mehldau!
Badass Brad...need I say more? Always delivers with whomever shares the stage with him...First Rate!!!

It's panned to the left.
@Al kinda have the same feeling thanks
@Al Yes. Wondering why they couldn’t fix this.
Yes the room is a bit "bright"
Who is the drummer?
Jorge Rossy

I never heard the basklarinet in jazz
Eric Dolphy, David Murrey, Anthony Braxton... Greatest
What about Eric Dolphy ?
Benny Maupin
왠지모를 고퀄
Tiens donc, pourquoi le public n'applaudit pas ? Ils n'aiment pas ?
Like paul bley on steroids
