I have a question when u do ur string in rectangle do u have to sequence the numbers exactly like in the app or u sequence the numberin a,way ur MDF is allowing u in rectangle manner then follw the sequence of number the give u

Answering in order
1. Recommendation is based on trial and error. Actually it’s not a standard recommendation. And it’s 2 degrees and not mm. In terms of mm I recommend a minimum of 5 mm gap between two nails. For circular boards, the placement is done by degree gap. The board sizes which I normally use, allow me to have minimum separation of 2 degrees between the nails. Had I had a bigger board size I could reduce this gap to even half a degree. Only strong recommendation is that no matter how many nails u use final gap between the nails after placement should not be less than 5 mm otherwise it causes trouble later when u r looping the thread. I have learned all this through trial and error

i have a picutre which i am trying to make, and i found the best possible outcome but i dont know if when i make it on board, it wont look the way it is l9ooking in the algorithm pic, i dont hv time i am a doctor and i have a busy lifestyle, iwant to make this for a special person for birthday present and i hv only got 6 day ( , so i got just one try, which thread should i use???? and how to nail the nails, i mean i hv a protractor i can mark 2 degrees with the scale but how do i know where the next nail goes???

If the result in algorithm is good, you will get good result in output. Just ensure you board is at least 40-50 cm in diameter. Thread u r using is regular sewing thread of weight 80. Nails u r using are galvanised nails

How to use number of pins is it based on image or some fixed number
Number of pins is a function of size of your boards. The larger the board, the more pins you can accommodate. Think is there should be some space between the pins for you to loop the thread. So on my board if I placed pins every two degrees, there was space between the pins but not enough to accommodate one more pin and make it 360 pins. So larger board means more pins

How do you calculate what size board for how many nails you are gonna use?
Board size is up to you. Normally I would recommend to have a gap if at least 5 mm between each of the nails but the number of nails depend significantly on size of the board: I have tried various sizes.for me the minimum size for portrait starts from 35 cm diameter.

It’s completely upto you how much distance you want between each nail. But remember that whatever circumference if circle you have chosen, that is fixed which means that more the distance between the nails, lesser nails you will be accommodate. The final output depends upon total number of nails, not the distance between them

There are two ways to make portrait on a square board. If u r making a circular portrait then all u need to do is draw a circle and then follow the same procedure as I have told in my video. The other method I will post in few weeks

How many lines should we choose
Till the point your output resembles the actual image. Normally between 2500 - 3500 lines work best. But it is really dependent upon the image

What we has to do with line weight. What does that mean? Is it the distance of each pins between them?
Ideally weight means thickness of the line. Aim terms of string art it will mean thickness of the thread you use. Now line weight and thread weight are opposite of each other. Higher weight weight thread means thinner thread or finer thread but it also means thicker line. Having said that I have not seen any significant difference in website template output by changing line weight

Use chrome browser. Reload the page. Wait for few minutes. Then load picture and again wait for the page to start the process. Let me know if it works. I am going to upload another video with a different site as many people are facing this issue

1. The nails are separated by 2 degrees each and not certain cm. apart. This means that for same number of nails, on smaller board the distance between them will be less as compared to a larger board
2. Not necessarily. But it is recommended to accommodate as many number of nails as possible with comfortable distance between them so that you can loop the thread easily. Obviously the separation between the nails will be same
3. No. In most cases you will find that by 2500 loops you can get a very clear output

Is the reason for the lack of clarity in the main picture... Does that mean using photoshop to clarify the picture??? Or the number of threads and screws reason?
The experiments were only on the computer, I haven't started working yet
Not every picture will work
Too less nails will also produce unclear results, even at 4000 loops.
In my experiments I have found that try different images and keep only face in the frame. Have less background or plain background. Do not remove background or the system takes it as black area.
