I have used the L'Oreal primer in the past but now absolutely love the Essence brand eyelash primer. It sells at Ulta for $4.99 and honestly is as good if not better than the L'Oreal for less than half the price. I also have started using the Essence False Eyelash mascara and it is fantastic. Again, the price is just $4.99.
The Essence is so Good! 🤩I used the L'Oreal for 15 years, and have recently switched. The Essence has more even coverage and doesn't clump up 👍
Kimberley, you sent me on a journey to find out more about "The Villages" in Florida. I have watched so many videos about this place and I think it looks like such a fun place. I want you to move there so I can live through you vicariously. Maybe I will rent a place there for a month and try it out myself, after we retire... Thanks for this eyelash video too.

Excellent video! Gonna try some of these tips!! One thing I might suggest u try for mascara…Thrive mascara. OMG…u think that Urban Decay is good…WOW! That stuff absolutely blows away any mascaras I have ever tried. I really recommend it if u haven’t tried it.

I’ve been loving the L’Oréal lash primer and sky high mascara since you showed your results. I can buy both at Dollar General in Oklahoma. I recently began using the ordinary lash serum especially on my brow tails where my thyroid issues are visible. Too soon to report on any progress. Thanks for sharing!❤
I have used the L’Oréal primer for years as well and love it. I have also started using the L’Oréal telescopic mascara and it is my new favorite. Together my lashes are so good.

I love the lash growth serum you recommended from Amazon. I switched to the ordinary and did not see any difference. I like the primer that Lancome makes as well as the L’Oréal

Im loving the L'orel volume primer and im on my 50s and loving a heated lash curler Wow what a huge difference it makes to my eyes an holds the curl for hours.

Wore both today and oh boy my lashes looked AMAZING if I do say so:) Thank you for reminding me why I bought those products. I did pick up the true brown in sky high just so they aren't as stark as the black, let you know how that works:)) Thank you, there are not enough influencers caring about us older ladies, very much appreciate what you do!

The rehper eyelash curler is absolutely the best. I use loreal base too but I don’t care for the white color I wish it was clear. I love the ordinary lash and brow. I have been searching for a clean mascara and I'm liking Covergirl clean.

I tried the Ordinary lash serum when it came out. Didn't do anything for my lashes. The two that work for me are Liason and Prime.

Hi Kimberly, I use the L'Oreal lash base also & love it. I switched to the Ordinary lash growth serum about 8 months ago and my lashes are still doing wel and staying thick and long. I was born with a condition called distichiasis, which is a double row of eyelashes. Before the Ordinary I was using the $$$$ serum & I did not like the fact that it uses prostaglandins to increase the growth and it irritated my eyes and I had a reddish line above my lashes. There are several mascara's that I like. Skyhigh, Benefits, Essence waterproof. We put our lashes through a lot and when spa day once a week & mask face & under eyes I coat my lashes with Jamaican black castor oil. It really seems to keep them healthy. Thank you ad always for your great tips. Are you doing your garden? My granddaughter lives in NC & started blueberries in a container. She sent me pictures yesterday and she has berries starting.

I use the lash serum from Amazon that you previously recommended and it doesn’t irritate my lids. I will give The Ordinary a try, I do like their products. I love the L’Oréal lash primer and have used it for a long time. My holy grail mascara is They’re Real by Benefit. Thanks for all the recommendations!

The lash serum you recommended from Amazon works great for me. People ask me if I have extensions. I have had the same tube of serum I purchased almost one year ago. Worth the 28 dollars from Amazon, and it lasts a long time. I’m not one to frequently change products, so plan to stay with this one.

I use a lot of The Ordinary products, however, I am on my 2nd tube of the Lash & Brow Serum and they haven't budged. I'm so disappointed. I'm glad it works for you.
Great tips! I'll try the lash serum...my faves are Thrive mascara, MAC extreme dimension 3D, and Kosas...I actually like the Cover Girl clean line mascara primer...inexpensive , vegan, cruelty free and clean.
Love the Thrive mascara .. wears well and no irritation to my eyes all day 🎉

BareMinerals Strength & Length serum-infused mascara works best for my lashes. It has a great brush that is more like a lash comb. Strange at first, but now I prefer it over the traditional brushes. Applies mascara lightly and can be built up. The Ordinary’s lash & brow serum burns my eyes so I use that on my brows only.
I swear by Falsies and Lash Paradise. I wear them together! I have been skipping the primer, though. I should try it.

I love the L’Oréal base as well! The Ordinary lash serum didn’t work for my lashes. They actually started falling out. So I went back to my old brand. BUT, it works wonders on my eyebrows. Even filled in a scar from when I was around 5 (I’m 48 now).
I had the same results with that eyelash serum. Works great on my eyebrows, though.
Interesting! It did nothing for my lashes OR brows. I guess we're all individuals. The Body Merry Lash serum works for me, but only on my lashes. Haven't found anything that works on my brows.

The ordinary didn't do anything for mine either. Rapid Lash is more expensive but it works!
@southerngirlyall6497 Rapidlash didn't do anything for me but cause a few lashes to grow longer than the others. VieBeauty worked best for me and much cheaper.

Tubing mascara works best for me
I love this video! I have oily skin and live in SC where it gets hot & humid, so I have to wear waterproof mascara. They are a bit different to work with. What mascaras do you recommend for us who need waterproofing?
Essence has a great waterproof mascara, and it is probably still around 5.00! Ulta or Amazon.

Where can you get the rephyr eyelash curler?
Does it have Prostagladin analog in it for the ordinary serum? Sometimes they use different name. It causes some bad side effects including eye lid droop. I already have that. It also can cause a loss of fat inside your eye orbit. I would like to try this if it doesn’t have this in it.
I have used many mascaras and they all transfer under my eye until I tried thrive tubing mascara. Have any of the mascaras you mentioned transfer under the eye?
Thank you so much for the tutorial and list of products however I do have a question about the L'Oreal eye liner you used. Does it demand a heavy pressure to apply it or is it more on the creamier/softer side? (It's just that I've tossed so many out due to the former.) Also a tad off subject re the NIRA home laser product; upon your recommendation I did purchase one and so far am impressed with a big hooray! To briefly explain; I am 75 years of age and noticed during the past few years an appearance increase in the nasolabial folds with marionette lines following suit, so decided to try the device and though it is only day 26 (using twice a day/graduating from level one to four/with a collagen cream follow up) I find both are not near as defined or as deep nor are the finer lines in the upper lip area that I'm also currently targeting. (Eventually I will get to the eye area.) Just thought I would share that with you and your readers. With much appreciation .....

What’s best product that takes off stubborn mascara easily- I’m using the Ordinary product but seems that I’m having a shedding of lashes maybe from the effort of getting all the mascara off each day! Help!!!
The ordinary serum did nothing for me on my lashes or eyebrows. I did like the one you used before. I just went back to revitlash and just use during the day and have had no issues. My lashes are finally growing now that i went back to it.

I have always to curl my lashes because they have always hit my glasses if I don't and then I have mascara smudged on my glasses. But as I have gotten older my lashes have become more and more resistant to curl and I have to wear waterproof mascara to hold the curl. I have tried the primers, but, sadly, none of them are waterproof and they pull the curl right out. In my opinion, your right eye (without the primer) is much more attractive because the primer pulled the curl out of your left eye just like it does on me. I also like the Perversion mascara and have been testing several others lately because my very favorite mascara is Wayne Goss' The Waterproof Mascara, but I hate that I have to order it and cannot just go buy it. I am going to see if I can find your eyelash curler as I have always been looking for a better one ... LOL So far, the best one I have found is the Kevyn Aucoin curler.
Oops ... forgot to come back and report on the eyelash curler. I do agree that the Rephr is much better than any of the drug store curlers I have tried (and I think I've tried them all), but it doesn't do nearly as good a job of curling my lashes as the Kevyn Aucoin curler I have been using for probably 15 years.

Have you tried the Thrive lash extension mascara? I've been using it for a few years. I've tried some other mascaras since then and they always disappoint compared to the Thrive mascara.
I, too love the Thrive mascara, and have been using it for years. However, I recently bought the new Milani tubing mascara. It seems identical to me.

What's the name of the L'Oreal liner?
I used the Vie Beauty Lash Serum you used before and had GREAT results (with no eyelid discoloration) for about a year. My natural eyelashes are so short and thin but the Vie Beauty significantly lengthened and thickened them. I really like the product but switched over to The Ordinary Lash Serum after it came out. I use other Ordinary products and have been pleased with their skincare and the affordability of all their products. HUGE mistake! Within about 2-3 months, all the progress I made with the Vie Beauty serum disappeared and I was back at square one with stubby, thin lashes again. 😭 So I'm again using Vie Beauty, starting about 3 weeks ago. I suppose each person has individual results but I'll never leave Vie Beauty again. The company even reached out to me and sent me a free tube! Their customer service is awesome! 👍

***Kimberly, I'm curious to find out if you have ever used Thrive cosmetics mascara (it's a bestseller for this brand). Honestly, I think you have exceptional lashes and would love to know you opinion. It cost about $25.00 and to my knowledge you can only purchase from Thrive cosmetics. I really love it but I am looking for a drug store brand that works just as well or better. Plan to try the Sky High mascara mentioned in this video.

You should try the L’Oréal tuning mascara. It is in a tube red on one side and white on the other. Love it. To remove splash some warm water on them let it sit for a couple moments wipe off with washcloth. It all comes off in the tubes. Best ever.
