Such great tips. One thing I do that really helps with lipstick traveling is, I put my eyeshadow primer around the outside of my lips. Once its dry, I line my lips and apply lipstick. It works wonders.
I’m tired of others saying a certain product won’t settle in fine lines! I love your honesty in saying products will settle in lines regardless, and this is how to minimize it! ❤
I love watching your video every Sunday morning while I have my coffee, Kimberly! I’m glad you are back to more of a side part--your hair looked absolutely stunning today, more complimentary. ❤
Hello Kimberly, I follow your advices from France. I am 50 today and I hope to be like you at 67!!! Thankyou for your smile and keep doing make up on YT for our pleasure!
The good thing about being in the 60+box, you finally stop worrying about everyone else, what everyone else is saying, thinking, doing.... and you can just be you!!
This is the BEST video of its kind!! Most focus on products, and to a lesser degree, age camouflage, but application techniques are SO important! I saw your face shaving video years ago, and was then finally able to do it. I was quite impressed, but don’t know why I didn’t subscribe then. 🤷♀️ But I sure did now! Thanks so much!
I can't wear foundation anymore, even tints aren't great. My skin is good but I have lots of wrinkles and everything settles. I wear a primer spot conceal, blush, bronzer and it's really working better for me. Thanks for the tips.
I had to come back and tell you that I followed your eyebrow tips, and I wish so much I had gotten this information 40 years ago. My eyebrows have been a problem since I was a teenager. I have a tiny scar running through one and because I’m a natural light blonde, my brows are sparse and so light they look like I have none. Also, I would put on my brows and they would seem to “slide off” within an hour. The last 2 days I’ve followed your instructions and not only did I think my brows were perfect, but, they stayed all day. Thank you so much!! This was a major boost to my confidence. 💝💝
Love your videos, just a couple of suggestions no pressure, Based on this principle, you should use: a green-tinted concealer to hide red spots (zits, dilated blood vessels, blemishes, etc.) an orange-tinted concealer to cover blue veins. a yellow-tinted concealer for purple or brown dark circles. As far as concealer goes, if you just let it dry after applying it and crease, you can then powder the creases away better It works for my mature skin anyway, im going to be 75 in June and I get lots of compliments and questions as to why it works for me, have a great day ❤
Good morning everyone. I agree with Kimberly about using less makeup. I have found Makeup by Mario's transforming balm all over my face gives me some color and coverage and looks very nice. Then a little Merit foundation stick only where I need to cover up something and I'm loving Ilia"s liquid eyeshadow on my eyelids. My face looks very natural and moisturized. I also leave mascara off my lashes whenever I can. I'm 70. Kimberly looks so great...I aspire to feel as great as she does. ❤
I have never worn make-up, I am about 7 months from 70!(in my head I am still in my 40's). Always good tips, thanks. I start radiation treatment for skin cancer on nose on Monday...wear sunscreen ladies and gents...
Sunscreen has carcinogenic ingredients in it, lookup your ingredients, same with that hand sanitizer they wanted everyone to use along with those masks that can cause bacterial pneumonia which does not stop viruses, it's like a mosquito going thru a chain link fence size wise... and leaving the eyes totally exposed total insanity
I love the story about Aunt Edna - I have my own stories of that generation and before. Also, I love "My friends just can't see that well anymore" how sweet and forgiving is that! Warmest regards Jennie
The one thing that I've started doing when I'm not really wearing eyeshadow Is too use a small fluffy brush and put a tiny tiny bit of whatever blush I'm wearing that day right above the center crease of mt eyelid. It just brighten my eyes.
Hi Kimberly! I think this is a fantastic video. I love to wear makeup, but at 61 years old, you are right about all of those challenges the mature woman has. I have already started to incorporate some of those tips but it was really helpful to see your step by step application. You are talented smart and beautiful. Thank you!
I love that I am 5 minutes in & I am already doing everything you have suggested. I used The Ordinary AHA/BHA chemical peel twice a week, I shave my face & I am obsessed with my skincare routine. All this being said, however, I think my prescription tretinoin is the best thing I do for my skin. 😊
Great tips. I just turned 70 and notice so many differences 😮I rarely have a full face of makeup anymore. I use tinted sunscreen daily with a touch of blush and lipliner and medium toned lips.
I think as we age less is more for sure. I also think we get to a certain age where we stop pleasing and worrying about what others think and do what makes us happy. I know when the dreaded C happened I told myself I was going to get up and get dressed everyday including hair and makeup. Fast forward a year and slowly but surely I stopped wearing as much makeup, to now where I have really cut back the amount of make up I wear daily and I love it!!! I also stopped getting my nails done, and let my natural hair grow out! Who am I??? I find I’m happier the more me I am and the simpler I make my beauty routine. I think a few other tips would be to make sure to go a shade darker for your foundation and concealer, it shows less texture and helps conceal bags under the eyes. Too light and it just emphasizes everything I don’t like about my skin and under eyes. ❤
I would definitely 😁 have to agree with you. The minimum makeup we apply, looks so much better and healthier. Especially up close. And actually feels better on the skin. 🌞
Hello Kimberly, i really appreciate your video. I am 67. I was despairing about getting a natural look with my patchy, blemished skin. You have provided me with some great tips. You are a lovely genuine person. God Bless you.
I’ve been using Rimmel Provocalips 16 hour Kissproof Lip Colour for years. Available as a drugstore cosmetic or online for under $10, it’s a liquid lipstick that is no too drying. It comes with its own clear gloss but I also use it with other clear glosses. It stays on well enough that I don’t reapply during the work day. There is some wear at the inner lips, but the edges look pigmented late in the day. When applying, I get it where I want it, then soften the outer edge with q-tips. Usually I apply a thin layer of foundation around the lip perimeter before the color.
I have just watched your video for the first time in 54 but still wanted to see your tips for problem area. I have say, your fantastic ! You made me laugh and I just love you. I see sooo many videos like this but seldom watch them. I find you so so relatable and just love your spirit and approach to mature skin. You look amazing and I will use your tips even at my age. God bless you.
Great tips! I've been struggling with my blush. I have been using e.l.f. Glow Reviver Lip Oil in Honey Talks for a natural lip look. My lips have not thinned out as I've gotten older and I have few wrinkles around my mouth. I'm 65 and have used lip products 24/7 for over 40 years. I do believe it has helped with retaining plump looking lips as I've aged. Love the natural look!
66 and I am reving up my skincare and changing makeup I would never go out without makeup! Lips I am fixing shape and brightening dark spots. Thanks for the peel!
Absolutely lovely, I just learned a trick for under eyes. Use the aquaphor stick and put under eyes, it smooths the under of wrinkles and crinkles, then apply corrector and concealer. It works
Revlon Colorstay Overtime lip color is what I've used for years it does not bleed into the lines. I love this so much. It's more like a stain. You should give it a try. I find that the lip liner bleeds and I don't use one. I use less makeup also now that I'm 71. I also know how to do a better job than I used to! Lol
I like where you put the highlighter, higher by the eyes. I actually like to put a little highlighter on the wrinkles next to my eyes. It doesn't emphasize the wrinkles - it adds sparkle to my smile!
I really love this video! Really good advice and tips! And you look gorgeous! ❤ I am 57 years old with dry skin and my share of wrinkles beneath my eyes- especially when I smile - and this is my take on the creasing of the consealer underneath the eyes: I do not set the consealer with powder at all. And by that I simply don’t get any produkt settling in the wrinkles. 😊But after a couple of hours I can see that the wrinkles look a bit harder due to the dryness of the skin. Then I gently tap a small amount of eyecream on top of the consealer. That makes the undereye makeup look smooth and nice again. I work, and together with the travel time to an from work my makeup needs to stay put for about 12 hours. And with this method it does - at least under my eyes! 😅 So no powder on dry skin skin under the eyes, instead an easy tapping of eyecream on top of the consealer a couple of times during the day works for me. 😊
I appreciate your honesty, gentle humor and healthy self acceptance. 👍❤👏 Too many “mature” women have all kinds of advice on how to look younger or better….after they have eyelid lifts, lip injections, cheek fillers, etc. etc.
Kimberly! You keep inspiring me! You’re so Blessed! I love your channel, your beauty insights and your natural insight on makeup and beauty for us who are 60 and over!
Awesome Video. I'm 69 and wear very little makeup. I have taken care of my skin since I turned 30. So that helps some. You include so many steps...but you look so nice in the end. I wish I had confidence to follow a routine like you. You have challenged me to at least experiment and try to have a makeup routine. ❤ Thank you so very much for your teaching on mature skin. ❤
I enjoyed each and every minute of this video. Thank you for so many helpful tips! I think you are such a gorgeous woman. Also wanted to thank you for NOT playing background music in your videos. I find the music so distracting in my old age, that I can no longer watch those types of videos. 😱💜
Kimberly, thank you for Your Great Tips when applying Makeup on us More Mature Ladies. Very helpful ! I at 62( soon 63) have realized that foundations just make me look older. When I do wear a foundation I too only apply a very small amnt just to even my skin tone out. I’ve finally figured out how to get concealer to look nice and not dry and yucky. I’m going to have to try The Jones Road cream pencil you used. I too have blood vessels that are to me huge and a challenge to minimize. And I no longer wear 3-4 eyeshadow shades as it’s just not worth it as they really age my eyes. I for sure will try applying a tad darker shade than my skin. Great Tips. Thank you so much for explaining the Why as you go in applications. Great Tutorial. Have a Blessed week.
Kimberly, love everything about this. 💕You’re so sweet in how you explain the aging things and I love you fix it with makeup. I’m 46 and do have the some sagging I’ve been battling the last couple years. The battle is on!😅😉 Thank you for these great tips!🌻
This is a fantastic video. I have been following you for about a year. I’m 62 now and always had good skin til I didn’t. I started taking very good care of my skin after watching you the first couple months. My skin now looks so much better. I love how you apply your makeup. It always looks fabulous! Most of what you showed in this video (and you’ve shown some before) I noticed how many tips of yours that I’m doing now. Love how you explain each step and how it helps. Wanted to let you know my all time favorite foundation now is the new Laura Mercier Real Flawless foundation. I wish you would try it and see if you like it. Also a new moisturizer I’ve been using and my skin has never felt better is the Revisions Firming Night Treatment. I use it am/pm because it really treats the dryness and really plumps my skin. I’ve tried so many and this is by far the best I’ve used. Thought I would share. Thank you so much for sharing with us all your beauty secrets. You are such a beautiful woman and your videos have helped me so much. ❤️
I love your videos Kimberly we are exactly the same age and I live about two hours south of you. It’s a whole different ball game putting on makeup in our heat and humidity.
Great video! I love the details you added about your process in the different areas of the face!!! As always you are lovely and yes, your hair looks great in that style!Thank you!!!
Kimberly, that make-up is so nice!! I am so glad you talked about upper lips fine lines. This year I am being so concerned and conscious about these that I try not to use words like "you" or "both" (for example), to try not to get these lines so noticable. To me hearing you adressons that problem helps me a lot accepting it and doing what you showed here to make them less noticable. Thank you! (Know that I currently steaks french so I might have donc one or two english mistakes here!) 😊
Thank you Kimberly. I loved a Lancome concealer that was discontinued last year and bought Laura Geller, while I don't care for the applicator it is light enough not to settle in the lines under the eye (I am older than you ha), also tried the Laura Geller powdered foundation (forget what is called) and use it as blush ha. Another product that I loved and was discontinued was the Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer OOOOOOOh why!!! Anyway I got around it by purchasing Lancome foundation and combine with Cerave moisturizer to make my own tinted moisturizer hahah. Then apply the SPF. Oh what we do eh? but Maintain Maintain, that's my motto. Cheers, No tightline and no mascara, I do use the eyelash curler. it only takes me 5 minutes for the makeup portion of my day, now the skincare is another comment for another video ha
Thank you Kimberly! I’m 52 and have realized for me that less is more. Too much of anything just makes ME look older in my opinion. Thank you all the tips & tricks. PS I love the shorter hair cut too 💚💛
Kimberly, i’m 66 and a half (🤣), i dont wear makeup often but decided to wear foundation yesterday just to run thru drive thru for a coffee. It looked great before i left the house, but while waiting in line, looked in rear view mirror and OMG! My face was orange…i was so embarrassed. It was probably due to the natural light showing the true color, but what makes it do that, if something else? Undertone of my skin? If i buy a bulb that is “natural light” would that help? Im so glad i didnt go to a party or something🥺😩. Thanks for the vid…i adore you. ❤️
Thanks to you, I started my skin care routine. I realize, after watching this video, that the problem I've been having with my make-up is that I am watching young influencers put on their makeup. Of course, I am not young and the makeup style does not work for me. I am excited to try the suggestions you mentioned today. Just an FYI..... I have been using a mascara base for years. Although expensive, I love the Chanel base. This product keeps my lashes soft while adding curl, length and thickness. Thanks again!!!
I love your newest look and LOVE your hairstyle. I’m 62 and wanting to style my hair like that but need some direction. Do you have a video showing your current hairstyle or would you consider doing one? Love all your videos. ❤
Hi Kimberly, that was the name of my best friend since I was born. Yes, since I was born. Because she had an older sister. Who was also best friends with my older sister. She passed away many away many years ago & I still miss her every single day. So I also thank you for reminding me of her. This was the 1st time seeing your channel & I loved of it. I’m 59 & I’ve learned a lot from it. I subscribed & saved it. Take care, stay safe & have a blessed day.🙏💗😊
Nice video and great advice. I just turned 60 and I love make up and think it should be fun too. I figure if it’s not perfect oh well it washes off and I can have a new look tomorrow. Like you I wear blush differently now and love to warm up my skin with contour. Good luck ladies. You looked very good
Hello Kimberly, new here!! I’m also an older woman & I’m so happy you discouraged tight lining the bottom water line!! I think it looks so, so harsh. Even on a younger gal, I think it looks harsh, unless they are doing a full glam. For an easy makeup look, definitely avoid the bottom line!!
Hi Kimberly! You didn't specify if the sponge is damp or dry when you use it after foundation and concealer. Was wondering which you preferred? Great video. I found it very helpful, thank you!
Hi, I’m Jennie. Nice to meet you. I just wanted to let you know that you are the first UA-camr that I ever watched and I’m still watching you to this day. I think you’re great. Keep up the good work.
Hi Kimberly, l use foundation or concealer around my lips so the lip liner or lipsticks feather up, or spread, so that way, my lipsticks stay on my lips, hugsssss ❤❤❤
Really enjoyed.. Thank you sweetie.. I'm 52 and mostly stopped wearing makeup due to it making me look so dry and frankly making me look older.. love all your tips...love your hair.. now i wanna cut mine..
You look fabulous. Lots of tips & tricks for me to try out. Live in West Africa so have to be very careful with make up. What works for me in Europe does not work in these temperatures. One has to learn exactly how much is just enough. Thank you 😊
😮What really helps for avoiding concealer creasing undereyes is applying a little bit, an ever so thin layer of eyeshadow primer under the eyes before applying concealer.
Awesome video Kim! I’ve so needed this type of advice! I recently turned 60, and have been having such a tough time with makeup! This advice will definitely be making it easier for me 5o figure out my new makeup routine! Thank you! 👍🏼💖👍🏼💖👍🏼💖👍🏼💐
You look awesome. It almost seems like your face is beginning to look a little thin (please, I'm not trying to hurt your feelings❤️). I just adore your videos, and I'm 62, so I identify with you. Please take care and enjoy your week!❤️🤗
At 63, enjoyed seeing how you have updated and tweaked your makeup application since beginning your channel. Your final look was fresh, glowy, and pretty, and I love your hair. I have been shaving my face for decades and highly recommend it to the ladies who fear it. One of my favorite parts was when you said you feel better than you have felt for years~I love this. Health truly is beauty (and wealth!) 💝
Wow, you look better than ever, Kimberly. I hope you had a great birthday. Thanks so much for the tips, and please keep them coming! a great vlog. Thanks for sharing!
Mix a little jojoba oil and castor oil together and put it under your eyes. Your bags should disappear! You can use the castor oil straight too but it's very sticky. Put a few drops into your belly button to help with constipation or other female problems. Other's on different channels use it all over their bodies with amazing results. ❤
You look gorgeous! ❤️❤ Thank you for the tips and ideas! I appreciate you and your positive vibe so much!! ❤❤Btw I’ve used the Revlon Colorstay lipstick for years. I love it and wear it every day because I hate reapplying lipstick every hour or two throughout the day! It’s hard to find it and I’ve sworn for the last few years that they are discontinuing them but maybe they are just that popular. I mix two colors: Unstoppable Nude and Blush Hour-the only two that look good with my cool toned skin. I wish they’d expand the line.
I actually use an eyeshadow stick that I got from beauty pie My can't wear it on my eyelids because I'm 77 but it works fabulously on my lips and you could dynamite it and it would still be there when you went to bed. I love the stuff. It's kind of a neutral color but on my lips it turns a little pinky brown but very fl
Hi there, really took a lot from this video I’m going to use cream eyeshadow now and also sculpting underneath my chin thank you very much. It’s been so helpful. You look Beautiful 🦋🌼🌸
Such a nice presentation, thank you. I do not wear much makeup, but when I do, entertaining several hot flashes will change things. I do wonder if there are any tips to address this challenge.
Bravo! You look great and are very informative and thorough in your explanation of your makeup placement. Thank you! I’ve subscribed! I’m and always looking for tips for helping this ever changing face!
Good morning. I’m wondering if you have any recommendations for a makeup mirror with magnification. I am currently going through cataract surgery, one eye done so far. While my distance vision is great, my close vision is different than it used to be. I used to be able to remove my glasses and get close to the mirror for makeup application, eye brow tweezing etc. That doesn’t work for me now. You may not have had this experience yet or maybe have the new lenses that correct close vision, so this might not be a problem for you. I know you like to research products and I’d like to have your take on this. Thank you.
I’ve noticed I use less makeup on too. A little goes a long way. I don’t know I just thinking makeup actually protects my face from the elements. Foundation has changed over the years and has morphed into skin care now. So I love that. Doo dads😆 Less is more as we age I think. I know we are beautiful ladies 🙏🏽🙋🏻♀️👍🏽
Loved this video!! Very informative. I've been following you for years now. I actually started renting homes in the villages because of you. I will be there again for 2 weeks at the end of June and the first of July. I'm always looking for you when I'm out and about in the golfcart. Have a great day!!😊
I too am 67 and a half. I will try these tips and tricks. I tried that Revlon Foundation when it first came out, but returned it, I may have needed a different shade. I will try it again
Thank you Kimberly for all the great makeup tips. You look so pretty and natural. You could get away with telling people you just turned 40! Shh! I won't tell!😊 Vivian from Texas

I am 57 years old with dry skin and my share of wrinkles beneath my eyes- especially when I smile - and this is my take on the creasing of the consealer underneath the eyes: I do not set the consealer with powder at all.
So no powder on dry skin skin under the eyes, instead an easy tapping of eyecream on top of the consealer a couple of times during the day works for me. 😊
I appreciate your honesty, gentle humor and healthy self acceptance. 👍❤👏
Too many “mature” women have all kinds of advice on how to look younger or better….after they have eyelid lifts, lip injections, cheek fillers, etc. etc.
Kimberly - I love your hair color! Its less yellow than you had before and looks so elegant.
Love watching your vlog! I'm 66 and working with the same makeup issues. Thank you for sharing!
Great tips Kimberly! I am also 67. However that is a lot of different products to use. I really need a more simple makeup routine. I love your videos!
I enjoyed each and every minute of this video. Thank you for so many helpful tips! I think you are such a gorgeous woman. Also wanted to thank you for NOT playing background music in your videos. I find the music so distracting in my old age, that I can no longer watch those types of videos. 😱💜
You look Great at your age. I’m 50 and look older from premature aging. I am excited to watch
Morphe makes a great setting spray that really helps eye makeup stay in place. I live in Florida & deal with humidity.
Cheers,
No tightline and no mascara, I do use the eyelash curler. it only takes me 5 minutes for the makeup portion of my day, now the skincare is another comment for another video ha
Some foundations especially drugstore will oxidize. Get a higher end foundation and don’t give up.
The product "oxidized." I use Wet n Wild and have no problems with it. I use their Tinted Hydrater. Its not as heavy. I'm 65!
@@natashawoof thank you !
@@autodidact2289 I’ll have to try that one, thank you!
Do it outside,I do on my veranda
Thanks to you, I started my skin care routine. I realize, after watching this video, that the problem I've been having with my make-up is that I am watching young influencers put on their makeup. Of course, I am not young and the makeup style does not work for me. I am excited to try the suggestions you mentioned today. Just an FYI..... I have been using a mascara base for years. Although expensive, I love the Chanel base. This product keeps my lashes soft while adding curl, length and thickness. Thanks again!!!
I use Castor Oil to seal in my skin care products…
My pores have really shrunken!!!! I’m 75 and love coffee & your videos!
I love you mentioned about eyebrows! I am the same can have them all neat & tidy one day & next morning a random hair appears about an inch long😂
Hi Kimberly! You didn't specify if the sponge is damp or dry when you use it after foundation and concealer. Was wondering which you preferred? Great video. I found it very helpful, thank you!
It's huge so it's definitely wet.
Hi, I’m Jennie. Nice to meet you. I just wanted to let you know that you are the first UA-camr that I ever watched and I’m still watching you to this day. I think you’re great. Keep up the good work.
New subscriber from the UK. You look absolutely beautiful. I found this video so helpful, look forward to catch up with your other videos x
Oh I love this video! Such good advice! I'm almost 67 and really needed this!
Hi Kimberly, l use foundation or concealer around my lips so the lip liner or lipsticks feather up, or spread, so that way, my lipsticks stay on my lips, hugsssss ❤❤❤
Estriol cream on your face and neck is wonderful for your skin. The estriol helps restore skin barrier and it doesn't go systemic.
Where do you buy it?
BRILLIANT!!!
Which eyeshadow primer do you use? TY
Excellent video! I’m 76 and want to brighten my aging tan skin.
The Revlon Colorstay is great. I like that product also.
I love the Hourglass dimlight! I really does last forever.
Beautiful Kimberly! You taught me somethings about brows. Mine are the bane of my existence. Lol.
Wow, you look better than ever, Kimberly. I hope you had a great birthday. Thanks so much for the tips, and please keep them coming! a great vlog. Thanks for sharing!
I agree that Gone Greige is the only cool toned liner I can use! If you find another one, please let us know!
Mix a little jojoba oil and castor oil together and put it under your eyes. Your bags should disappear! You can use the castor oil straight too but it's very sticky. Put a few drops into your belly button to help with constipation or other female problems. Other's on different channels use it all over their bodies with amazing results. ❤
Have a friend who massages warm castor oil into into her scalp. Hair growth is great. And another who puts on lashes.
Thank you for sharing your makeup and skincare tips. You are gorgeous. I am going to start using your eyebrow advice. 😊
You look beautiful. You literally just enhanced your already beautiful self.
You look beautiful, Kimberly! I enjoyed this video. Could you share how you get your teeth so white?
I actually use an eyeshadow stick that I got from beauty pie My can't wear it on my eyelids because I'm 77 but it works fabulously on my lips and you could dynamite it and it would still be there when you went to bed. I love the stuff. It's kind of a neutral color but on my lips it turns a little pinky brown but very fl
What shade do you use?
Hello, what do you mean by dynamic it. Thanks
Love your optimism as well as realism about our aging skin.❤
Thanks for reminding me to shave!!!!! Your tips and tricks are awesome! I never thought about foundation in the “smile” creases!!!
Makeup looks great on you and I love your hair in this style. Have a wonderful day.
I like how you use drugstore products! Thanks for the tips.
Thank you so much for making this video. I am going to try your tips! 😊
So beautiful. Love the details. The biggest takeaway for me is the dermaplaning. Do you have to do this everyday? My fear is stubble.
You’re so gracious & beautiful! Thx for the great tips!❤
Thank you.
You look amazing!! You introduced me to a good skincare routine. I knew nothing before I started watching your channel. Thanks for sharing ❤️
You`re such an inspiration! I just subscribed to your channel and your newsletter! Thanks!
Loved this video!! Very informative. I've been following you for years now. I actually started renting homes in the villages because of you. I will be there again for 2 weeks at the end of June and the first of July. I'm always looking for you when I'm out and about in the golfcart. Have a great day!!😊
Thank You for all your tips I really enjoyed ur video will continue watching u.
Much love and respect my beautiful friend.
