still the best looking f150 to date imo
Dated? I like most trucks, own a Ram 2500 and a F150, but despite the age of the design I still think the Ford is the best looking overall.

I'm a die hard Chevy fan,but I rented one of these 2013 F150 thru enterprise and was completely impressed. The 6.2L pulls relentlessly all the way to redline with smooth shifts similar to those on my daily driver cadillac. This is my next vehicle for sure

The transmision on this ford that can cut off some off the gears like having form first to fourth, it os not new stuff my dad had it on his 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe LT the first tahoe with the 6.5 180hp diesel v8, loved that truck :)

don't really like trucks that much but now I've got '98 f250 as my 3rd vehicle ...winter beater etc. they are useful for sure.

Yeah I agree. When you buy a truck, you want a truck. Old school V8 that you can add to and make it sound beefy or get a diesel, I want a newer f150 but I will get the 5.0 if anything. It has good mpg and you can toy around with it a lot more then the ecoboost.

He complains about having to look down and taking his eyes off the road to change the ac, yet the whole time he is driving and looking at the camera.

odds are it ford will eventually bring it back out because my 94 has the old 5 liter engine that was discontinued untill the new bodystyle mustang and the coyote engine i personally love the 5.0 never owned a differnt one but my dad has the chevy 5.3 and i like the 5.0 alot better

Love Toyota for dependability, however, FORD is getting there too according to Consumer Reports and resale now!
I believe ford is waiting to make a huge unveiling and the next auto show with a new expedition, mustang, f150 and a new ecoboost engine also I believe they might put that I5 diesel into the newt expedition.

You are smart not to get a new truck when you don't absolutely have to in this economy. I was looking at the Barratt Jackson car action on t.v. They had beautiful trucks from the 70's with what HAD to be $25,000 to $30,000 or more of work selling for UNDER $10,000! Light bulb moment for me:)
I have a few issues with this reviewer. First, you're reviewing a truck which you demonstrate is used for industry workers- put on some work boots. Secondly, you're not going to hit EPA numbers while towing.
The only thing I don't like about ford are the owners that's says "fords are the best!!"
when they never drove any other truck in their life. Its just a brand I like them all chevy, ford, rams. Same thing with the other brands of trucks

if there is any indication that the atlas concept will carry a lot of its design to the 2015 f-150 we are in for a real treat.
2004 got updated in 2010 to a new model with different sheet metal.

I have a 2009 f150, the only thing I don't enjoy are the forward looking headrests. I turned them backwards so they don't push my head and neck when I'm driving.anyone. else dislike them?

Not a fan of the huge push for V6 turbo trucks, I am a bigger fan of the tried and true V8 power plant. Sad that there are fewer reviews for the V8.

Ford redesigned the F-150 in 2009 and new engine line-up in 2011. If you are going to criticize someone else, at least know what you are talking about yourself.

He complains about the truck not having much change when that body style was only 5 years old, that’s not that bad, and when he says the design has been around since 04 he’s wrong, this body style has been around since 09, but hey whatever people complain about dumb things

huh....the eco-boost engine doesn't live up to the fuel economy numbers on the sticker? this is really starting to sound redundant. as that's what most of these reviews say about these cars. Autoguide in its own review of Mazda6 vs Fusion had the exact same thing to say. Ford is flat out lying to people.
Ford uses real wood! They haven't used simulated wood since the early 2000's
couldnt buy a V6 truck i dont care how many turbos you put on it. no truck of mine will have stock exhaust and ecoboost sounds like shit with aftermarket exhaust just get a V8 or a diesel if you tow alot it pulls just as much and actually sounds good when you start it up in the morning

I would take the new 2014 gmc sierra denali over the 2013 f150 king ranch. The f150's overall design is old and stale since it hasn't been refreshed since 2004.
