I visited this yard several years back. Winter is the best time to visit. Those five leaf plants are Virginia creeper. Not poisonous. Remember leafs of five let it thrive. Leafs of three leave it be. Three leaf is poison ivy.
That was going to be my first post, but you beat me to it by a year. I will have poison Ivey tomorrow, just from thinking about it on here. That allergic.
You are REALLY good at these junkyard walkabouts, normally can't watch them for long but your engaging commentary and knowledge keep me watching till the end...you should defiantly do more😃👍
Why? Nothing there is worth anything, the fools that own it have done nothing but let those vehicles rot away to nothing. There's places like that all around here in southwestern Pa and northern Wva that I've watched my whole life the cars in them that ranged from salvageable to at least parts cars rot away to where there's not a single part that's any good anymore, places that old men piled up cars behind their barns and through the woods in their property and when ask why they don't sell then would all say "They'll be worth a lot more one day", yea, now that day's here and there's nothing left of them, they're worthless, at least years ago they'd have got some money out of them, now they're completely worthless. What a bunch of fools.
Back in the late 70' s I worked at a junkyard after school and weekends and most of the time they would turn the title vins into the state as required by law and the title would be retired. This was in Pennsylvania. Not sure if it's still done this way or not and some of the better cars would be bought from an owner for a little more than junk price with the intention of reselling the vehicle at a fix up price!
There was once a ford manufacturing company in Atlanta. It’s probably why there are so many of them there. Mustangs and such. I noticed that when I lived there there were a lot of old fords on the road yet. Not like anywhere else in the US
Every time I find myself standing there looking at a car in a place like that, all covered in pine needles with the frame sitting on the ground and the interior either stripped out or mostly eaten by critters, and it doesn't have to be a collectable muscle car or anything just any old car, I can't help but to envision it brand new and shiny sitting at a dealership with that new car smell and think to myself "There was a time when that thing was brand new and people actually wanted it".
At 1:33; I'm also not sure, but the styling was different between 63 and 64, versus a 62 and 63, thus I think it's a 64. ;-) If I remember correctly (likely not), the Coronet was the base for the Roadrunner and the Roadrunner was the base for the Daytona or Superbird? Are they so different that you can't make a Daytona or Superbird clone from a Coronet (convertible)? Alas no Corvairs, but I'm sure there's a few somewhere there (there was a Gremlin)? ;-D
the condition of those signs is really irrelevent..honestly i think the ones with patina rust and bullet holes are worth more than a clean one...if i was buying one of those i would look for the extra patina and rusty ones becaus they are more authentic and honest than a mint clean one.
How does a thing get like this. Collectible things over valued by love . I often reminded myself try to keep it original as possible, as long as you can. Don’t let it rot you are responsible to the future owners make it easy for them . Keep all removed parts (motors, chrome, exc.) they will become harder to fit when separated
I hope people realize that 60s Mustangs are based on the even older Falcon/Comet bodies which were designed in the 50s as economy cars. They are not sporty or well designed cars. Most of them handled so poorly, especially after years of neglect, that they got rolled/wrecked. I’m baffled that they even compete at all with Camaros of the same era. They look nice, but underneath is what counts.
The A100 Dodge van seats were installed in 1968 Hemi Darts & Race Hemi Barracudas. Galen Govier can confirm this [I'm just a dumb Chevy guy] Memphis Dan LeLoLai
Dodge "gassers"? Don't think so. Try Super Stock Eliminator cars . 1971 was the first year for the original Dodge Demon 71 & 1972. By 1973 they had been renamed Dart Sport . Memphis Dan LeLoLai
At one time you could walk thru any junkyard and take your pic of classic care for almost nothing! you can thank the government for crushing all these cars for scrap
These are always a "Pain and Happiness" thing for me. I know we cant save em all but, sure would rather see people sell em to get restored and back to being loved and back on the road, sad really. Yes, there is a value but, rotting into the ground helps no-one. Just one mans opinion.

The Demon nomenclature was used for 1971 and 1972. For 1973-1976 the same basic model was named the Dart Sport.
Another great video keep them coming

Sad to see some cars rusting away. Last weekend I came across a 1979 Z28 Camaro gutted and beyond restoring. 😢

Those chargers are very rare and the value keeps increasing every year
Great job
Hey Parker u should do a video on the 66 67 fairlane

And the worker looked at it & thought; I am proud to have just finished this nice car, that someone will enjoy for a long time.
At 8:38 it looks like a tree eighty tree engine.
haha, @4:57 "how does something get like this" Too funny, But true, How?
The A100 van seats are the same as hemi darts & cudas,,same seats we're sold in the early CJ5s
Like heaven indeed..
Wish u would have spent a little time on the 66 67 fairlanes I'm big on those cars ..I have beautiful 1966

Can't believe the size of the trees growing out of the cars. They have been there a long time. Cars must make good fertilizer.
Daily drivers, according to the ad post. lol

Must be a nightmare to get one of those vehicles out of there. Especially if it's on top or underneath a car.
Great video! Where is this located?
Cartersville GA
Surprise you didn't see the 69 Camaros in that yard, also be careful that place is loaded with snakes.

That Camaro had solid floors possibly because of the angle it was stored maybe?
OUH!
This is so Sick to see these beautiful Classic cars in so bad Condition. :(
ISO ,71-75 CHEVY CAPRICE/IMPALA CONVERTIBLE PROJECTS THANKS IN ADVANCE...KEEP DOING YA THING
All cars sold in usa got sidemarker lights in 1968 and newer easy way to see if a car is 67 or older or 68 or newer
USA cars ❤

There a 66 Pontiac GTO in the yard somewhere
Очень много всего интересного, хочется приехать на грузовике и грузить его пока рессоры не лопнут.
I didn't see the Camaro from the thumbnail, maybe I missed it?
Are any of these cars for sale.
your right with your comment HOW DOES THIS EVEN HAPPEN ? LOL THANKS Canada
Great car knowledge but where were all the RARE cars. ???
It’s to bad some people just let them rot
It's definitely a flower car high dollar car

You didn't show the "baja" bug...
Was a salvage yard now is a cemetery...sad

Nice yard but way too big...too far to lug all your parts back to the office or carry tools

Why do lot owners just let cars go like this. At least recycle them out rather than allow pine needles and rain dissolve them.
Why do people collect the fine cars and then set them outside to rot? Boggles me.😢
All those cars are gonna rot there
do they even sell these cars-?/
Demons were made and 71 and 72 Only
Сколько металла пропадает. 😑
Gotta say I think these cars are too far gone too much cancer
Most of these cars are junk-not worth the time to try to pull them out of there…
Are they selling anything
