I live in the US and I can tell you I am so impressed with these Drs , If I’m ever over and anything should happen to me I should be so lucky as to be in the care of these medical teams. 😊
Brianna's case was heartbreaking, she looked so vulnerable yet she was obviously aware of what was going on. I can't imagine how scared she must've been 😢. Side note: Dr. Bjorn and Dr. Mya (showcased on this series too) are husband and wife. I forgot their last names because they're different.
I felt so bad for her I’ve been pregnant 6 times and have 6 amazing children and I’m 38 and have lung disease and collapsed lungs every year since I was 27 and I was scared to death as I was pregnant I’d even had surgery on them 4 times to try and stop it but it didn’t work she must have been so so scared beyond belief she could feel and hear everything but not speak imagine been pregnant you can’t talk or move your in absolute terror fear and pain but can’t tell no one her poor family will have been terrified and so wil she I wish her all the best and her beautiful baby ❤

Ok I’m wrong. It’s a AVM. My daughter had an Arterial Venus Malformation discovered @ age 15 & had brain surgery before it ruptured. Praise God she had almost total recovery. Just some memory loss. 🙏❤️
Brianna the pregnant Woman who had the stroke would have been trapped within her own body as she was able to squeeze her hand but not respond Her consciousness was trapped in her body that’s stuff of nightmares I hope all the patients are doing good now
I wish dr. Emma would explain to Brianna what she was doing. That they were going to put her in to sleep and on to life support to help her. She could squeeze her hand on command so she would understand it. I think it would be comforting doing that. Dr. Emma is always so nice i dont understand they did not do it i do hope they might did that off camera or something.
Does Australia have after hospital care workers for people like the lady whos broken both wrists, has special needs son, who's gona help her with bathroom hygiene for herself and her son, cooking,Shopping etc? Im wondering if they have home health services for medically needed people? I have a S.N. child also so i know the daily chores and challenges and the rewards that come with children w S.N.s..
Yes we do, I was recently discharged from hospital with a broken wrist and had people coming to help me with showering and occupational therapy. It was only for 2 weeks though. If you're over 65 you get help for a longer time and more services.
It usually is very close to the Emergency department, but due to safety regulations the CT, and MRI machines need to be completely isolated. You have to remember that these machines generate radiation to create the imaging. If anything goes wrong with it, things can go REALLY badly. Think Explosively badly. That is why no one is in the room with the patient while the machine is running. If an emergency happens, protocol is to shut the machine down first, before the medical team enter the room again.
They will have left it in, they dont generally remove kidneys unless they are cancerous, even if you have a kidney transplant they just leave your old ones in as long as they arent infected or causing pain.
@@emay666what? No they don’t wtf they can’t connect the new one. They take them during transplants. Do u think they just put the new one in and not have to disconnect the old one and hope that works 😅
@@IamLilith-80 they obviously disconnect the old one otherwise you would just have a dead donor kidney in your body, but again, they dont remove the old one after connecting the new one. It is a very easy option to google the information, which you should definitely have done, instead of coming on here and making a fool out of yourself.
What I understand is that the organ will basically shrivel/dehydrate and the body will absorb most of it. The fibrous tissue that remains will be very small and won't cause any issues. Only if it becomes infected or cancerous will they remove it.
Tv companies have to get your consent or they can’t show your face. That’s why some background people are blurry because they either didn’t consent or they didn’t bother to ask them.
@Lisafox- she was not acting. You can see that was real. At 17 weeks pregnant she could have been having pregnancy fatigue. She may have just collapsed into bed with a face full of makeup. Many people shower in the morning.

Brianna made me cry.😓So sad for her. Praise God she is recovering and having her baby and a loving partner by her side❤️
Terrific group of caring people. Love this series.
That poor woman with the broken wrists. She already has so much on her plate, she is unbelievable, I hope something good happens for her in the future
❤
It doesn't mean it can't be done, I've done it.
I hope so to. Sadly i know how it feels hope she healed good and had a fast recovery ❤ so sorry it happened to her

Emergency AU is the best medical TV show and I love watching this TV show
Have a look at 24 hours in A& E. It’s a British one and really good if you like this kind of thing
I am soooo glad the young mother made it!!!
I have had a chest tube and can tell you it’s one of the most painful things ever
My sweet cousin had an aneurysm during labor. Luckily both were okay, but she had a difficult recovery. It's amazing what modern medicine can solve!
No wonder the camper guy was ok...if he can live with 4 lil daughters he can survive anything 😂
😂😂
I was in Melbourne hospital for a chest infection when I was on an overseas holiday from nz
Poor Brianna will never be what she was before, rehab will be intense.

So many motorbike accidents. Not worth the risk.
I love the song they play at the beginning of this show. Does anyone know the name of the group/artist?

I’m assuming that this is during COVID-19.
Are Social Services available to help Catrina and her son? Neighbors/relatives to contact/help? 😮

Why is there not a CT scanner in the ED department? Surely it would be well justified and save moving patients unnecessary distances.

Do all this people consent to been film in such a vulnerable state and this been expose all over the world?
Yes
