I’m a retired RN after 37 yrs. I had to retire early due to disability and I miss it so much. It has been really hard. OB n NICU were my specialty. OB can have emergency’s but not usually trauma!

I understand Gerry's fear. I went into the hospital for an angiogram and the next thing I knew I was in the cardiac ward awaiting emergency open-heart bypass surgery. I was so shocked that I felt nothing. Well done Gerry. I wish you the best.
The same thing happened to my husband. 6weeks before our wedding. I told the surgeon there was only one outcome, and that was walking me down the aisle!
Michael You really got my heart strings. I'm still crying , Wow what a walking Miracle you are. So Happy for you and your family. So happy to for all sucesses
I know some about medical things, and when they say that someone’s not breathing, then they go into what’s called respiratory arrest. It’s basically when the lungs aren’t inflating, sort of like cardiac arrest, but with the lungs

@jessicahummel1691 Thank you ever so much for your kind words. Please keep in mind that every healthcare job is very important. We nurses are slobs, so housekeeping is essential. I’m assuming they do have them sign a release agreement or an agreement with the hospital to protect patient privacy when filming. Possibly a family member can sign if the patient is unable if they are in the pts chart to do so on their behalf.. I couldn’t find much on google about it.
Better safe than sorry, I have a friend (a nurse) who was just diagnosed with Covid last week. Doctors and nurses wear masks to protect from potential disease spread for their patients, and their own lives. Just in case you weren’t aware.
I think the actual Drs know what the patient needed to make sure mom and baby are safe. They have to be through and not miss anything with 2 lives at stake. I think if laying on her side was working for her should wouldn’t have come to ER.
Gee thanks Dr UA-cam who probably hasn't been pregnant in their life. I had gallbladder issues when I was pregnant with my last final baby in 2020 so you have to get checked
