Sights are either lpa-cut or bomar-cut dovetails, not novak. I have one that I bought for the purpose tinkering with. Added a full-length guide rod, magwell, g10 grips. And experimented with different recoil springs and hammer springs combination. Currently working on changing the rear sight because mine sucks. Whenever I get to it.
I the 1911 rail is not good. I have two lights that will not lock on to it because the center is cut out of the bars for some unknown reason. Otherwise I like this gun a lot. I've had no issues with the magazines, fit/finish or any feeding problems at all.
I have one. I think it's ok but not great. It shot fine with factory ammunition, but malfunctioned badly with my new brass loads. It needed a little gunsmithing to get it to function reliably. The magazine lips were misaligned, and the feed ramp needed polishing. I am also not impressed with the trigger. I am thinking about trading it in. My Glock 20 Gen 3 is a much better 10mm pistol. It looks like you are in Colorado.

Wait... you were back in Montana and didn't tell me?
Hmm, that's actually pretty sweet

It's a 1911. Why not tune the trigger yourself?
