308 Winchester I ain't shooting out past 400 and if I was I would just learn to do it with 308 what's the difference you got a 10 mi an hour crosswind You're either going to have to hold for 10 in of wind drift or 16 but at the end of the day you got to know what to hold for correct me if I'm wrong

Logistics trumps ballistics. I have thousands of 30 caliber bullets and 500 brand new 308 cases. If I were to buy a new rifle and 6.5 CM and 308 were the choices, I’d have to go 308.

I cant find a fixed version of this chassis in stock for my howa mini but i can find a carbine version and an adapter plate. Would that be just as good as it coming from mdt with the fixed version?
