Thanks for the great video. I have not fished the NW in over 25 years after joining the Army, last time for Kokanee was around 1990. Am back and just bought a new boat, plan to chase kokes once this Springer season is done. Your videos as a whole have got me excited to be fishing here in the NW once again.
Got some new hip waders today and had to go check them out on the mountain river nearby. Conditions were not great, 33 degrees and snowing, but my legs stayed dry. The bite was slow on spinners. Miss two and landed one brown about 10 inches long. But tomorrow is supposed to be warmer and sunny. Keep your lines tight boys.
Awesome vid Cameron I think most everyone who fishes likes to cook.A great head to head comparison between the two methods. I remember trolling for these tasty little rockets with my daddy in the Adirondacks above Lk Placid. I remember my first, got so excited almost fell in. Thanks for the. vid and some great memories.
Cameron kills it again..the Kokanee crusher..doing the same process over here in western Montana but with smaller kokes..be nice to head toward the coast and catch sum fatties..keep em coming Cam!
Now your talking my language. I haven't fished for Kokanee's in almost 40 years. I used to fish one of the three reservoirs on the Lewis. Is that where you were fishing? The last time I was fishing that area, I was trolling along the south shore by an area of big rocks. I watched fish after fish rise to take something off the surface. Didn't find out til I got home and found out the were after carpenter ants. Wish I had had my fly rod and flies along that day. Never did get back up there, wasn't long after that that the family and I moved to Michigan. Been here ever since. Was raised in Vancouver near where you all seen to be from. Glad I follow Samong on FB when you took him fishing with you. Thank you for bringing back some great memories.
My wife is also I pampered chef director to so I get it! It would be a cold night if I didn’t plug her products as well! Great looking fish I’m moving to Idaho next week and there’s a great Kokanee lake by my new house!
Cam, yeah you pretty much answered my question about scales, but can you skin a koke without ruining that meat? Out here I'm catching Lake Superior spring coho jacks and I'm able to skin those just fine.
First thing I put in my air fryer was some steelhead, screwed me up for good! All my fish has to be air fried if it isn't smoked now. All the benefits and deliciousness of deep-fried fish without soaking it in grease.
I live in Western North Carolina, one lake in my region has a population of Kokanee Salmon in it, but I have never been able to catch one. They generally hang out anywhere from 70 to 90 feet deep, in the main river channel of the lake, but it doesn't run straight, plenty of twists and turns, dog legs. Almost impossible to pull a downrigger, one minute you're in 90 foot of water, the next minute you're in 30 foot of water, so difficult to stay in the channel. Any thoughts on how to catch them? Lure, dodger, time of year, water temp. I'd be interested in any advice. Thanks
I air fry my cod for fish n chips in my ninja foodi grill using the same method. My stomach cannot handle greasy food very well and I like it way better
I know it doesn't matter as much with small fish like that, but you guys really need to start teaching people about the pinbones, I've watched several Addicted videos where you guys clean fish, not a single one dealt with pinbones.
They have one color called "brown trout" which surprisingly enough is colored like a brown trout. I've had good luck with it catching browns, rainbows, and cutthroats in most weather conditions. However, in general, the bite on spinners falls off quite a lot in the deep winter months where I am. Just so cold, they won't chase.
What I want to see is a video on the application of a " soft ball pitch" cast and a "hardball pitch" cast. I try so hard to make people understand the benefits of the application of the "softball" cast. And if I'm the only one that knows this cast then holy cow
Has anyone ever Air Fried Fish? What's your favorite fish recipe?! 🤤
first
Never used one but I am planning on buying one.any tips on buying one would be greatly appreciated Thank you!
Off topic, is your addicted product in bi marts?
I just acquired one of them air fryer thingies. I still have to figure out how to use er.
I’m a simple man, I see and addicted Kokanee video and I click as fast as I can.
Nice to see a Cameron hosted video. It felt like he hadn't been in many of the main series videos for the last couple months.

The double dredge is where it’s at. Pro move Cameron!
Favorite part of my day!
That was great. Thank you
No way! Cam got himself a new kokanee net!! 😳
Fantastic! I'm moving up to Maine and look forward to catching and cooking some Kokanee. Great recipe. Have you smoked any Kokanee?
I'm addicted to the videos 🍻
Oh yeah!!
You should make a trout net. Like the steelhead landing net, but like a normal hoop net, but the net is in the V shape so it cradles the fish.

8:58 "Skin side down"
Man love these videos
Thanks cam
I’m hungry now
Nice job cam!
Awesome
As soon as I saw the notification I stopped doing homework
You guys are almost as good at fishing as I am!!!
Do you remove the row of small bones above the rib cage with pliers or while eating the fish? Enjoyed the video!
I air fried coho last year. So simple and so good!
Cam, yeah you pretty much answered my question about scales, but can you skin a koke without ruining that meat? Out here I'm catching Lake Superior spring coho jacks and I'm able to skin those just fine.
I thought Jordan was the only one that does catch and cook fish...
Those look really nice,,I'm from the east coast,,we don't have those fish..
Man, now I want an air fryer!
First thing I put in my air fryer was some steelhead, screwed me up for good! All my fish has to be air fried if it isn't smoked now. All the benefits and deliciousness of deep-fried fish without soaking it in grease.
Nice job, never caught a Kokanee. Been trying though. Were you just using corn? I have only had a fish fry with crappie, bass, catfish.
Hell yeah
One day I won't butcher my filets and they will look like yours. Just means I need to catch more fish lol.
Nice video

The air fryer recipe!!!
Cooking even landlocked Sockeye to remove the oil is a new premise for me.... I generally try to keep it/add more.
More Kokanee vids, more likes
Yesss let’s go adx

Cam, how do you get around the pin bones?
Let’s goooo
You should do more self videos of your fishing adventures
Are you guys at the sportsman’s show this year?
Shit son....
I eat the skin and scales on trout and kokanee.... and the crispy cooked tail is the best part! Lol
What reels was Cam using?
I know it doesn't matter as much with small fish like that, but you guys really need to start teaching people about the pinbones, I've watched several Addicted videos where you guys clean fish, not a single one dealt with pinbones.
Can you teach me how you filet them kokes as to when you fry them each filet has two skin side downs😂
What's the discount code for pampered chef products?
What’s your favorite color of rooster tail for trout year round
Silver and Blue.

What reels were you using
what is your go to kokanee trolling rod and reel ?
👍🎣👍🎣
How deep and temp of water on them kokanee
When we going fishing marlin?
6:25 there is a hair! Hopefully you got it before you ate it. Fish looks amazing though 👍🏽
Noooo how did u see anything like that lol 🤪
The scales, after the fish is eaten and gone, an hour later I still have the little sparkles stuck on my hand
Just an FYI, the bloodline you refer to is actually their kidney.
Kokanee are near my house, can never catch em though
at 6:24, I hope someone noticed that hair before it was fried.
5 minutes spent with a pair of fish tweezers before breading would have given you a boneless fillet and so much nices to eat
My spoon is too big
Hell ya
