Yeah, the three pronged triangle doesn't mean the crucifixion. The logo is the idol, like many have said. The baby, the goat, the food, the money, are all given as sacrifices to the Dead Throne; the concept Mike and the band were presenting with the whole album. "We've built the world on a Dead Throne." All our possessions, if not taken as idols, are given to the ultimate idol of our lives -- our own personal Dead Throne we worship instead of the true God. This, to me, was Mike's ideals.

Yes, they're a Christian band. I don't even understand how anyone could think they're Satanic. Even at some of their shows they talk about how they live for God and how he's influenced them.
***** You're the stupid idiot for arguing what were being lied to about over a song on youtube. Were only allowed so much in this life by what were born with what is given, taken, and where we stand in the evolution of this species. its almost beautiful in away because even today were still so small. ignorance is bliss. and you're only jealous because you cant convince yourself too.
So true. I'm non-religious but I went to see them really close to Easter, around when this song came out, and they had a moment with the crowd. Very good concert.
I love this band!!!! I listen to it in my truck and people look at me crazy cause I'll be head banging at a red light. When I see them staring at me I'm like if only they knew this amazing song!! I'm pretty sure they would be head banging too!! Lmao
metallicshah you're fucking stupid first of all because literally nobody is arguing about what genre they are and second metalcore isn't even like some weird obscure sub-sub-sub-sub-subgenre so making a joke like that doesn't even apply here
They were fucking amazing! They played their new song Reincarnate to end the night. After that I got my group together and drove home. We didn't see Issues or Falling In Reverse though :/
Oh man, the contrast in voices, together with the aggressive drums, the guitars going from aggressive to pleading... Even some "violins". Beautiful orchestra of rage
I see myself really getting back into this band, but nowadays, I'm trying to find new metalcore bands that don't have any screaming. I'm not saying that I don't like Mikes screaming at all. (I actually think that he is one of the more talented screamers out there.) I'm just sort of finding the screaming a little bit overdone nowadays by millions of other bands. It really only depends on if the screaming is done for a reason and not just for effect. For example, I like the screaming in this band because it's more for emotion and not just for no reason. So now since I have explained my opinion on screaming in music, can anybody tell me which TDWP album has the most singing in it since they are a band that has mostly screaming in their songs? And while you're at it, can anybody give me any metalcore bands that have mostly or only singing? Thanks!
+DeathMachineJoe totally get you. Screaming with emotions or no screaming at all... Northlane (singularity album), Underoath (disambiguation album), Northlane (Node album), Architects (Daybreaker album), Architects (lost forever lost together album), Bring Me the horizon (That's the spirit album), Bring Me the horizon (Sempiternal) Erra (Augment album), Erra (Drift album), Fit for a king( Slave to nothing album), Linkin Park (The Hunting Party). This list should do a fantastic job, these are some of my favorites album. The vocalists of these bands scream with emotinons or sing with emotions. Though TDWP is still number 1 for me :D
Luffy Joke Central Thanks man! Btw, do you have an opinion on which TDWP album has the most singing in it? I know that I already asked that, but I'm just checking.
DeathMachineJoe 95 % of their songs are a mix of screams from Mike and cleans from Jeremy. But if you want a more 'calm' aspect of their sound, i would definitely recommend the space EP. It's just the perfect mix between storyline, emotional screams and singing.
I remember seeing this band 8 years ago at 180 skatepark and the attic. Local venues where they are from in Dayton. It was cool to see a band like that start out and actually go somewhere... Keep it real much love
STORY OF MY LIFE: My friend would scream at me for playing this music in her car telling me to turn it off because it's 'Stupid' and 'The devils music'.. Yet, when a guy she liked said he liked this band she said she liked it too.. 😑

Praise Jesus Christ in your mighty name I pray. If anyone out there loves metal but won't listen to the dark and twisted bands stand up I love this band! Spreading the word of God through the power of music? And getting to scream at the devil? And tell him you won't ever believe his lies! Amen! In the name of the father the Son and the Holy Spirit! Amen Go ahead and hate all you guys want now I've said my piece.
+Julian Dravk I believe that the day our Lord and savior Jesus Christ returns every single head will bow and every single tongue will confess I believe in you my brother even though you may hate me for my beliefs I will always respect you for yours but just know if you ever do find Jesus and you need help I'll will also be here! I will never force my faith on anyone I was just voicing how much I love and praise my God.
I mean I understand this comment is 3 years old, but few metal bands are actually satanist. Most metal bands usually write about personal struggle, political or social problems. Some are abstract for you to create your own image, some are about having a good time, some like history. This is coming from someone who has been to dozens of different shows and owns hundreds of different records. Good on you for standing for your faith though!
People who think TDWP is satanic... The only satanic people here is all of you cuz you judge without knowing the lyrics of the songs and their message. Throw the rock the one who is free of sin.

Damn right
The guy that has the power to stop all the evil in the world yet he does nothing.. Great idol, sure.. haha
Hot take: The cross is also an idol.
10 commandments of God
Love that guitar in the chorus
2025 they will be playing in stadiums
Other than impending doom. Tdwp is an amazing Christian based band
Unfortunately none of the current bands are really Christian any more
Why i can’t find this song on spotify? Please add this masterpiece
Buena canción , y alguien que hable español que también le guste esta banda???
Yo :D, es genial esta banda.
cierto esta banda es geniaaal!!! :3

La banda es muy buena y esta canción como otras de ellos, ESPECTACULAR!
Lady`s and Gentleman, this is real Music
I love this band!!!! I listen to it in my truck and people look at me crazy cause I'll be head banging at a red light. When I see them staring at me I'm like if only they knew this amazing song!! I'm pretty sure they would be head banging too!! Lmao
5 years on, still killer.
0:20 FOREVER ALONE
I hate when dudes argue over metal types.
Oh, the elitists, we've all encountered them.
+Alicia Beth is there any argument? everyone knows they're metalcore nobody is disputing that
+Metal Marauder No this is electro-math-psychedelic-symphonic-melodic-post-metalcore.
Get your facts straight.
metallicshah you're fucking stupid first of all because literally nobody is arguing about what genre they are and second metalcore isn't even like some weird obscure sub-sub-sub-sub-subgenre so making a joke like that doesn't even apply here
Metal Marauder you just argued that with me.
I saw them at Warped Tour and fuck they were insane! Cant believe the crowd was that insane! Anyone see them at the Mountain View show? :-)
Remember the TDWP moshpit! It was fucking insane. I almost fell XD
Me and my group were in the front but we kept getting pushed back haha we left two songs earlier to see Motionless
They were fucking amazing! They played their new song Reincarnate to end the night. After that I got my group together and drove home. We didn't see Issues or Falling In Reverse though :/
Its all good haha what bands did you see?
Their was 50 bands playing at the same time..
Oh man, the contrast in voices, together with the aggressive drums, the guitars going from aggressive to pleading... Even some "violins". Beautiful orchestra of rage
our lord jesus Christ will destroy all evil
Amen
+Ana Menjivar good for him?
+Chris Wallace lol oh wow look at u smart ass
+Ana Menjivar Hahaha XD ok then
+Chris Wallace Jesus Christ loves you and died for you. He is the only way to heaven
My favorite song by them. :3
+Luffy Joke Central thanks for the info. I'll check it out
+Luffy Joke Central 100% agree.
I remember seeing this band 8 years ago at 180 skatepark and the attic. Local venues where they are from in Dayton. It was cool to see a band like that start out and actually go somewhere... Keep it real much love
What other songs are awesome by The Devil Wears Prada?
The entire Roots Above and Branches Below album is very good. A couple other songs to check out are My Questions and Vengeance. Enjoy.
Literally Everything Dude
Louder Than Thunder
Swords, Pepsi and... forgot the name of that song
The Zombie EP
STORY OF MY LIFE: My friend would scream at me for playing this music in her car telling me to turn it off because it's 'Stupid' and 'The devils music'.. Yet, when a guy she liked said he liked this band she said she liked it too.. 😑
Sooo she hate you,done
That's sad.
i love how both BMTH and TDWP have been making music about the same amount of time yet mike hranicas voice is still functinal and hes not coughing up blood every night liker oli sykes is
Hey, update from 2020, BMTH is killing it. TDWP, not so much.
@@wesleyskalaski9678 TDWP lost the hype they had for sure but their last album was killer
Soy el único en español? Que le gusta aún la buena música?
Noooo
jsjsjs no
we've ruined everything
Praise Jesus Christ in your mighty name I pray. If anyone out there loves metal but won't listen to the dark and twisted bands stand up I love this band! Spreading the word of God through the power of music? And getting to scream at the devil? And tell him you won't ever believe his lies! Amen! In the name of the father the Son and the Holy Spirit! Amen Go ahead and hate all you guys want now I've said my piece.
+Zachary SPINDLE lol are you handicapped in such a horrible way that you worship a book of lies and a man in the sky
+Julian Dravk You believe what you believe and he believes what he believes. Simple as that
+Julian Dravk I believe that the day our Lord and savior Jesus Christ returns every single head will bow and every single tongue will confess I believe in you my brother even though you may hate me for my beliefs I will always respect you for yours but just know if you ever do find Jesus and you need help I'll will also be here! I will never force my faith on anyone I was just voicing how much I love and praise my God.
Julian Dravk No just we don't have enough faith to be an atheist
I mean I understand this comment is 3 years old, but few metal bands are actually satanist. Most metal bands usually write about personal struggle, political or social problems. Some are abstract for you to create your own image, some are about having a good time, some like history. This is coming from someone who has been to dozens of different shows and owns hundreds of different records. Good on you for standing for your faith though!
One of the most unique vocalists in the industry. freaking love it!!
People who think TDWP is satanic... The only satanic people here is all of you cuz you judge without knowing the lyrics of the songs and their message. Throw the rock the one who is free of sin.
I think they are actually christian xd
Is "they are" incorrect?
They are christians.
oh sorry:p
Why would anyone think they are satanic? there soft as fuck.
