That dash board and the ability open and close the roof are almost worth the asking price on their own. Stunning simplistic design at its best.

In Indonesia, the only one car manufacture that doesn't come with parking sensor even the top spec model is Honda....
3 questions:
1. Did the testcar have S line suspension or adaptive dampers?
2. Would you go for the manual or s-tronic?
3. FWD 2.0 TFSI or quattro?
It needs a mini display for the radio. Couples buy this car to have as a weekend car and it is frustrating to have to look all the way at the driver's cockpit. The driver will most likely be focused on driving and the passenger will control the radio. That makes no sense.
I love my Audi TT roaster, albeit I have alot of extra on the car, such an amazing car!
Never liked Audis, probably never will. But the new virtual dials and the temperature settings in the dials are nice touches. Small touches like that would make a car feel special.

I just wonder if these digital displays will still function properly after 10 or more years. With the smartphone live expectancy these days, you just have to hope for the best. For any sports car and future classic i would prefer analog. Electronic displays in cars are always the first thing to look outdated in a relative short time.
Weird those seats are completely different to the ones in mine. Mine have a brushed metal housing that you can see each side of the seat.
Hey Carbuyer love your reviews! But they're only aimed at people who buy brand new cars. Don't you think it would be great to post some second-hand car reviews? How some models stand the test of time and conserve their value, some comparisons between 5-10 year old models etc?

I know they don’t like to give much away but parking sensors really should be standard. Doesn’t cost much to put in by manufacturers and it’s a safety feature.

I don't know if I would choose this or a mx-5. It seems hugely more practical but the mx-5 just more fun and a lot more compact.

personally I wouldn't mind a glovebox for phone chargers etc. But you are right and that's why, given I had the money, I would probably still want the mx-5 more!
i guess i am the only one who hates having things in my car, they just rattle anf fly around :D oh and i bet you can charge the phone direcly from the USB ports so you only need a cable, no charger.

Interior is all cool, but it doesn't have a separate screen for the radio. For me, that's a big "no no".
How is the passenger supposed to change radio stations or cds?
But the biggest issue is - who buys a fwd roadster? Fucks sake. And a diesel option? Lol
Mazda is quickly catching up. And for nearly half the price, the MX5 offers more style, similar practicality, RWD, and Mazda's reliability.
I had a look at TTs and although they look nice, you can't help but feel it's just a Golf with no roof and a poshie interior
+Bruno Danese its not double the price of the mx5...well..okay...if you spec it up then you are right, but the TT definitely has some advantages, mainly the engines and refinement at higher speeds is way better. quite different cars for different people. but i would go for the mx5, too, captures the essence of what a roadster is (for me) much better.

It sounds no where near as good as the old 3.2 V6 TT and I don't think it looks as nice either.

come on Audi this is the third generation TT and it still uses soft top convertible?? how are you gonna top Z4 and SLK nowadays?? you may say boxster still uses soft top but that's a "Porsche" end of story...i don't care if you put new gadgets in there.

+Aurélien Delaruelle i know exactly what u mean but the trend right now it's hard top u gotta admit. Look at the new 488 spider 650s spider they r all hard top convertibles now. It's like having the best of both worlds a coupe and a roadster.
+Gary Lee I guess it depends on the car, true that on the new ferrari hard top looks good and feel more luxurious !! For the TT like the boxter or even the 911 I think the soft top looks so much better ;)
Driven one and it was shit every bump in the road and after driving it I feel as if I'd gone one round with a werewolf

nah you start this review with the easy get in the luggage inside the boot! you really make a fuss about the luggage & the boot with Merc SLC and BMW Z4. i really not understand why you really care about that? personally its really rare to see some one travelling with huge luggage with this kind of sport car. sport car normally driving for a leisure or daily car so why you make a big issue with the boot & luggage? not really understand lol...
