Hope everyone enjoys this! This isn’t something I’m used to making as evidenced with this being on my phone and not having something a little more professional, but I think this is more my style anyway. I’m happy to answer questions anyone might have about the rig or equipment or anything else related. I will say this since I didn’t talk about it in the video, if you’re thinking this is equipment you must have either to drive competitively and be good or to be a personality of some kind, the answer is a resounding no! Most the sim rig stuff I have were wants and not needs. Even if I had a direct drive wheel that is still a want. I haven’t driven competitively in two years and certainly never on a world championship level when that equipment will start to matter. This is all purely for fun and what you want to make of it. No matter your equipment, sim racing is so much fun.
I use a stand, integrated stands are probably nice if you’re limited on space, but I like having the stand separate from the “chassis” because it makes it easier to pull out clean the carpet beneath if needed and be sure I’m close to the screen as I can be.
I also made fun of people with gloves because I thought they're taking too seriously. Now I love my gloves, without it my palm gets really dry and start peeling off. So yeah Gloves are important.

You can take the boy out of Wisconsin but you can’t remove the “America’s dairyland” license plate from his sim rig
Oh hey, a fellow Wisconsinite! I knew there was a reason I could relate.
That spotted cow sign is 🔥
If the video didn't immediately start with shot of Lily, it was going to be thumbs down. Man knowns his audience.
Great vid! Took me a while to get around to it, but I'm glad I did.
Well we need an updated version
FYI - your amazon link to the monitors is identical to the stream deck link!
Fixed. Thanks!
Now thinking about the monitors you have there, are they on a free standing monitor stand, or are they on an integrated monitor stand?

big like because of lily
Where is the "Respect the Kink" sticker
One day I’ll be brave enough to stick it somewhere
@@TeamI5G where is it currently
Shamefully hidden in a drawer.

Why’s this dude showing the weird driving thing, show me the cat!
what FPS are you getting with this setup?
In a typical race, over 100 usually, in larger endurance races it goes down a little but g-sync prevents any stuttering.
@@TeamI5G I just downgraded to triple 1080p because of framerate issues and i am running a 6800xt . I am begining to think i may need a CPU upgrade.
Mic check
You have a nice rig ,and setup but still haven’t spent money upgrading your wheelbase, and brakes..
I spent the first 3 minutes of the video yelling "PET THE DAMN CAT" at my screen. I was disappointed...
