Trailmanor: Portable Shelving/Storage Unit
In our previous TM I had built a folding wood shelf assembly that went between the hanging closet and the over/stove cabinet. It worked well but did have its limitation. I wanted more shelves that would allow me to elevate the microwave. But, it had to be lightweight, fold easily and not take up much room when folded up.
After a long search, I decided this folding shelving unit would do the trick. It was the only one that was a dark gray/granite color and was the size I was looking for.
I did not install the top end pull handles. They would have increased the folded storage size plus the handle would prevent the unit from sitting flush against the hanging closet. I installed wood planks on the bottom (instead of the wheels). This allows the unit to sit closer to the wall.
So far it has worked well and I found the perfect spot to store it when the camper is folded.
