Annnnnd I’m back! I figured out that I’m very bad at titles lol so yeah just a lil anigera clip I found amusing. It’s basically just another Sugita story time thing. Hope you enjoy it! I’m personally very Sugita based. Sugita-san is my favorite male seiyuu in terms of acting and personality. I hope to sub more videos of him but he legit talks in some ancient language that I don’t know but hope to learn (aka his old and weird references).
Some things about the translation:
0:07 - So I think I made the translation too wordy but basically it was CocoIchi which can also be called Curry House in English. Very popular curry restaurant in Japan. The interior is built so you, as the costumer, can see what's happening in the kitchen because it's right in front of you. 00:31 - I think the reference was to Drakon (aka Drak or in romaji, Doraku). I left it in romaji for interpretation purposes but Sugita voices Drakon in Magi although idk the connection to the listener’s story though. Maybe it’s because Drakon has many wives? Idk.
1:17 - I think Kajita meant “aura” in English, meaning that he’s suggesting Sugita to have more of a barrier around him so that he doesn’t get approached that way; the word “aura” usually used as to have a certain air/ mood around you that makes you attractive or unapproachable.
1:40 - I spent some time searching for the news clip he was talking about but I’m not sure if which one it is cuz idk when this episode of Anigera aired so that will be left in mystery
