More advanced tutorials like this please ...love how laid back you are and honest ..its needed instead of everyone using expensive plugins and octane ...would love more basic renderer projects
There should be a drinking game where we take a shot everytime he says he hates x-particles 🤣 Jokes aside, what a great tutorial. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
It's true but these kind of tuts will push you further because you need to explore how he made it and you can create your own style. Yes it need some basics of using those apps.
Really informative and thanks for taking the time to walk through this whole set up!! A big problem is the topoformer no longer supported in R23 and above. So have to use R22 or below to get it (xparticles does work though just costs a bajillion dollars).
when you 'BUY' a product.... it's yours right? (not live subscription...just the old versions)... i was poor as a student and bought a license on the begining of xparticles after a year and half i could no longer download it again and had to pay so much money so i can deliver a client work (ended up losing money on that project instead of making money)
@@BoutaibYassine ah. I see. I didn't know that either because the plugin is too expensive. I'd rather come to Houdini for particle simulation instead of xparticles.
Yeah i have a bunch of the videos ready i just can't seem to get a free hour from work to just sit down and finish them! (funny cuz i just mentioned this to my friend over the phone few secs ago....were u listening? XD)
Is there another X-Particles outside of the Insydium product? I'm confused. Insydium's X-Particles is AMAZING, and is one of the only way to get particles systems in C4D outside of Houdini, which for designers is completely daunting. I've never heard anyone hate on Insydium's X-Particles so harshly. It's not THAT expensive, and the amount of tools included is vast. IDK. To eah their own, I guess...
If you don't like x-particles, what would you recommend for particles system in C4D? Also, thank you for the content. Some premium tips you have for us here. Nicely Done

Because there is a Greeble tool/node built from new scene node system now in r24+ that i think does the same thing.
